I love adding new places I ve visited to this app I ve traveled quite a bit but it s humbling to see how many more wonderful places there are to visit Fun App 12Fun

Clearer and faster satellite images than on google maps Fun to see specific locations and track the places I ve physically visited in the past It would be even better if the lists had the alphabet beside it so it would be easier to quickly jump down alphabetically like in iTunes list instead of the endless scrolling for countries with many popular locations Thanks Great app Linda01760

All this app does is provide a list of famous places If you click on one it brings up a menu to find it on Google or Wikipedia I don t understand the point its a waste of time If I want to find information on these places I have to look it up myself which is what I would do without this app anyway I would like to see this app DO something for me Pointless Princess188

In terms of concept this is a great application but a few things hurt it One which is the most important is that it seems to be no longer supported so one cant expect future updates as well as the few bugs to be fixed Two is that since no updates are coming one cant expect the designed to be improved As of now it resembles a bare stoic like background Third is that features are missing which could truly make this app stand out as a great tourist guide and that is the ability to create a wishlist for all the places in the world one would want to travel too someday What is good is that search and navigation is easy to use so one can look up all the locations in the database Users can switch categories at the drop of a hat and find out more about them through the Wikipedia links The app is also user centered with the ability to rate edit and add photos to locations Users can also get aerial Google map views of all locations giving a better idea of what the place entails Even though it is no longer being supported Virtual Tourist is still a worthy and wonderful global companion Virtual Tourist
