Visual Contacts

After the new update the Groups are still not working Cant make them Please fix 5     Groups Still Not working

Need a update on a bug unless it is just my iPod                 Great but

I like the idea to have pics on each contacts                 Love it

I liked the idea of having photos next to the names as I scrolled through my long list of contacts so I decided to download the application and test it out At first it performed decently The only real complaint that I had initially was the jerkiness caused by the hesitation of the contact list as you scrolled up or down I didnt think much of this as my contact list contains over 1500 contacts so I assumed that the hesitations were simply caused by the memory constraints of the iPhone trying to handle my large volume of contacts and corresponding photos My real complaint comes from an even that happened last night I had added some new contacts and was going back to add photos to these contacts using Visual Contacts In the middle of adding a photo the app crashed That in and of itself didnt really bother me But when I opened the application back up to continue adding the photos I was shocked to see that ALL of my contact photos were gone A quick check of the standard iPhone Contacts app verified this Not only had the application not saved the photo I was adding it had apparently corrupted my iPhone data to the point where all 1500 contact photos that I had were now gone Syncing the iPhone with my PC did not restore any of the photos so I now get to spend my evening either manually adding the photos back or erasing my iPhone and doing a restore Either way I can honestly say that Visual Contacts will no longer be found on my device     Nice Idea But

I think this app need new nicer icon and no transparent bottom bar           icon

So much easier to find your contacts Group option is nifty when I use texts too so I can narrow who I want to do the mass text                 The best

This application is awful It works only if I scroll through my contacts slowly otherwise it crashes I would advise others to NOT buy this app Hopefully this problem will fix itself after continuous updates     Dont Buy It

If it said how many contacts you have at the bottom of the page like it does in normal contacts and also if you could start a text with the pinger text app instead of SMS that comes in the iPhone right now if you click in the phone number with an ipod touch it diesnt let youtext because the touch doesnt hav sms on it           Good but couple ideas

Works like it says but it does not replace your actual Contacts app nor does it come up under phone appjunk        Not what I expected

I was really excited about this app till I realized you have to use the generic ringtones for iphone You are unable to use personalized ringtones I like using my personal ringtones as a way to screen my calls This would be a great update PLEASE     Cant use your bought personalized ringtones

It does what it says simple and easily No set up required You launch the app and your photo icons of your contacts are all there in list view Another thing I LIKE about this app is that it is not cluttered with options and extra features that would just complicate its simplicity IT WORKS JUST LIKE CONTACTS I will continue using Visual Contacts Definetely worth a 1 or 2              This app look great

Keep the updates coming Guys if posible please integrate to phone App so you you can see the pictures there too I like the update the software is bullet fast now wooohoooo Five Star                 Love the App

Other than having the picture next to the contact name in the Contacts menu this app does nothing It doesnt show the picture for your contacts in the messaging or phone menu Creates group names BUT DOESNT ADD the contacts from your phone book Very complicated confusing and not user friendly     Not Impressed

This is a great app which may replace the cydia app syntact It is working fine on my iPhone 4 version 421 It only needs to integrate with the original iPhone contact list to be the best iPhone app ever                 Wondrful Works great with iPhone 4 ver 421

In order to see the pictures next to your contacts you must open the app every time when searching for contactsyou CAN NOT just go into the pre installed contacts icon on your iPhone and have the pictures in thereit will not work it only works if u open this app every time If somehow they can fix it so it syncs with all the contact booksfolders in the phone I would rate it a 5 starsuntil then its pretty Inconvenient having to open the app everytime u wanna see a picture           Does not sync with pre installed contacts

This app worked great before the 41 update on the iPhones came out Every since that update this app is not showing the contact pictures beside the contacts list names Please fix this minor issue Ive deleted it off my phone and added it back on and still same issue        needs 41 update

Its alright but I guess doesnt read transparent backgrounds and merges images to ones that font use the full space available Odd Otherwise an alright program        Ok

Make it work just like the built in contacts so it accesses within the phone button contacts list Its nearly useless since it doesnt replace anything You wont use it much I dont think its really worth the price IF they will fix it to work within the phone button or simply replace the whole phone button so I can ad the icon to the main launchbar replaing the phone icon then it will get a higher score and better review from me Get to work people its worth putting in some cycles if you want it to be the app it could be     AS IS SAVE YOUR MONEY or UPDATE THIS TO WORK FOR REAL

Visual Contacts does what it says it puts your contacts pictures right up front where you can easily see and find a contact But Im sure many of you have noticed that your custom ringtones disappeared and it has assigned all your contacts to the default ringtone or one of the preinstalled ringtones that came with the phone As a matter of fact it doesnt even show your custom ringtones that are installed on your phone It would have been better business if GRC told us in advance of taking our 99 cents that Visual Contacts would indeed take this feature away However there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel After experimenting I found if I went back to the original Contacts and assigned the ringtone there it still worked regardless of what Visual Contacts displays as the ringtone If GRC fixes this error then I would easily give it 5 stars Until then you only get 3           Visual Contacts and Default Ringtones

I really like this Would like it better if it also worked with the phone contacts instead of opening it up from the page But this is way better than having to open each contact to see who that name belongs too Great app                 Not to shabby

this was a program that I really neede I like it but it has been 3 times now I have lost a group or the whole contacts it is not stable and now its driving me nuts when I see my contact group empty I use this for work and its not convinient           Best and Worst

One of the first Apps I ever downloaded I have tried others but always come back to this one Its easy to navigate and locate who ever your looking for Great pictures and ability to change subject area within the lists make it a truly custom contact book Dont bother with all the others download this app and it will make you very happy              This is how contacts should look like

This program was nice when it worked before iOS 60 now the grouping doesnt work AT ALL I contacted the developer when this first happened They told me to use the update I told them thats what I WAS usingcricketsNO FURTHER RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANYSAVE URSELF THE TROUBLE DONt download until they fix it     Grouping Doesnt Work

Oh man if you do something do it right I agree the idea of having pics next to the contact names is great Really The thing is this application is way behind an acceptable standard function it does not cover regular daily needs either update it to an standard level Or take this crap out its just headache and nobody really can use it I would be happy if I took my cents back     Need update

This app wont let me add a photo to a new or existing contact When in edit mode or creating a new contact the buttons to take a photo or choose a photo are nonfunctional Please fix     Camera function broken

I thought I could do everything my original contact book could do on my iPhone 4 jus add pics WRONG it does nothing but add pic and takes away all other options like ringtones text etc not worth it make a better one     Wack

Definitely nice to finally have pictures next to the names what else would be the point of even having the pictures I just wish it would sync with my Exchange account aka my Gmail contacts every time I start the app just like the default contacts app does And I dont really need that translucent bar at the bottom it just takes away screen real estate Look forward to the next update              Good but could be better

No problems yet Does not give you the option to send a txt from your contacts like the regular one does              Works well
