I have used this app for years and think it is very useful and helpful I especially like the ability to add notifications of events to be pushed to my phone including reminders Well written app              Great App

Finally the ability to manage my notifications from the vivint app Well done guys Looks like you have been listening to the customers who actually use the app not the engineers who design the app You guys got this right                 Its been long coming

Overall this is a wonderful app its very convenientwhen working properly On numerous occasions I have tried to arm the system from my phone while upstairs and it fails to receive the command I also will try and disarm the system from my phone and it rarely receives that command too Its nice to control the system with your iPhone but it can also be frustrating when youre trying to arm from upstairs and you end up having to go downstairs and arm it and make way more noise and possibly wake up babies when you arm from the phone it just says system armed stay but when you arm from the panel you have to press the buttons and it is quite noisy           Fails to update commands

This is a pretty good app but you need to either disable the inclement weather alarm or allow us to disable it from the app That darn thing has been gong off since 2am I am exhausted and very angry Its woken my one month old and on top of that I have to get up grab her and go down stairs to turn the stupid thing off Please fix this This is an issue that would make me change alarm companies           Pretty good but

There are times the app will not connect to my panel which leaves my home insecure If I dont set the alarm before leaving the house I have to return home to do it This poses a problem if Im already at work I would love if this could be fixed        Inconsistent

User friendly My only objection is that I cant do any administrationsettings kind of stuff from the app           User friendly

I was stoked about the AppleWatch app but the app overall doesnt work well It used to be almost instantaneous when armingdisarming locking lights on Etc but now it is super slow if it even sends the command at all     Not liking the new update

Recently I had to reset my iPhone and now I cannot log into this app I have logged out and tried to re log in on other devices and cant log in either I have had my password reset 3 times by vivint and nothing works I dont know if this is an issue with the recent update     Cant log it

The app only seems to work 25 of the time I have problems with the armingdisarming as well as lockunlock sections Sometimes it takes 34 times for it to go through Wireless and cell signals show strong but somethings not clicking Not sure what the problem is        Needs work

I thought updates were supposed to make apps better easier more functional but this app continues to get more difficult to use First the font changed to tiny little lines that can barely be read by seniors or others with vision impairment Now it has taken me 20 minutes to figure out change thermostat schedules I give Vivint 5 stars on everything except the everchanging for the worse app        Just keeps getting more difficult

When you disarm the system the icon turns into a pulsing green lock If you are looking at your phone in even the slightest sunlight it is very difficult to determine if the system is disarmed or still delivering the command There needs to be some distinct symbol over that green unlock icon to boldly identify that the command is still being sent the system is not disarmed yet Every false alarm Ive experienced is due to this flaw in the app development     Need Improvements Immediately

Ive been a customer going on 3 years now This App use to work at the speed of light Pre Update For the past 11 months its been stuck on stupid It doesnt unlock my doors Im always having issues with the Dimmer onoff and I have intermittent issues controlling my thermostat These issues are annoying the mess out of me Vivint get it fixed        If only it worked the way it use to

The app used to work without fail The past year it hasnt worked much at all I can not adjust the thermostat or the alarm remotely It is extremely frustrating     Grandmother

Just updated and now the app stopped working It will not allow me to log in but I can log in using the web browser on my computer     Cannot log in

i cant even log on im able to log on web and other app but not apple watch app     cant log on

Have to stay logged in to use TouchID Who wants this thing draining the battery all the time        TouchID useless

Can not set alarm Also can not always update Can not set Thermostat Can not activate or disarm the system This was part of the reasons I used their service I guess Im going to have to call in about this     MEMNOCONTROL

I have Vivint in one home and another system in another Vivint is easier to access when on the road but hard to disarm or disable one device You need to call the office for everything This is a real inconvenience When working around the house you need to stop every thing to call the office to disable a device so you can remove it to to paint a wall Real waste of time Before someone at Vivint took this feature away from the Consumer we could get things done When my contract is up I plan on dumping them for a more friendly system           Its okay I guess

I wish I liked this app more but it is often very sluggish and takes forever for commands to go through I would like to see speed improvements such as a light turning onoff faster than 30 seconds after the command is sent and would also like geolocation notifications such as a reminder to arm the house when leaving the house and it would be great if you could arm from the notification rather than opening the app And waiting 30 seconds for the command to go through           Could use improvement

So I have Vivint Sky system iPhone app works well The Watch companion gives me wrong user password error logging in Have reset my password 3 times Spoke to Vivint no help at all Watch is so new we dont know anything about it cant help you They put the app out in May Any ideas     Cant log in useless

Ive had an Vivint alarm for almost four years The customer service and the alarm itself work great but this app is beyond frustrating The change in temp doesnt respond the setting of the alarm doesnt happen most of the time and I must say the features on the app are very basic What good does it do to set the temp to cool or warm the house when it doesnt work I cant set the alarm from the driveway so now I have to exit my garage get out of my car walk to the front door set the alarm get back in the car and drive off Totally defeats the purpose of staying safe and being convenient Vivint can do so much better especially for the almost 7000 I pay per month for the system        Frustrating

Its missing everything you need to change settings Like pass codes and passwords and rules Needs those options I mean why have the app if you have to go to the web page to do everything           Its ok

Ive been a Vivint customer since their name was APX in other words a long timetheir service is good fills a need but when it comes to this app its very basicI dont have cameras or their thermostat so my functionality is limited to arming and disarming the alarm Away or Staybut there is no WOW factor hereIve called and requested some features almost a year ago and still no updates that look like what I wantSo now Im putting where everyone can see I want the same robust features on my phonetablet that I have on my wall panelif I want to arm the alarm but leave certain sensors bypassed I should be able to do that from my phone If I want to add users to my system I should be able to do that from my phonetablethow about an option for a silent alarm where Vivint just calls me directly on my phone and not come over the wall panel to alert the burglars that the police are on their way What about having the rest of the options from the wall panel on my phone even right down to controlling the brightness of my screen and volume of my system all from my phone Cmon Vivintlets get a real meaningful update to this app           It does what its supposed to but thats it

Love the app but my control panel is downstairs and if for some reason I needed to inform you that I needed help a panic button would be ideal on the app              Just need a panic button and I would give it 5 stars

Several times a month the app is useless For example last night at midnight I was checking the app and it said my garage door was open I went and checked and my garage door was closed I reviewed the history and it doesnt go past 630 PM Its now 447AM the next morning and guess what According to this app my garage is still open and the history hadnt changed How can I monitor my house if the app cant keep up Also attempting to utilize the camera is very slow now Cmon Vivant catch up and fix your ht           Great when its working

New update will not communicate with my thermostat I like the overall look of the new app and it is more user friendly for setting up a schedule but the schedule wont work because it wont communicate with the thermostat        New update not working 79
