Does most of what I want it to do for movie playback using the iPhone as a remote control Things Id like to see 1 retain playlist information between sessions 2 support for FasterSlower control buttons instead of just the speed scrubbing bar              Great app

Easy to use and enough features More important it works I have a bad back and not having to get up every time to change the music venue or start a new movie has made my life a little bit easier Way to go                 Great app

I use this app daily and I am satisfied with its performance and capabilities The issue is that this app has not been updated to work with the newer versions of VLC so you are stuck using an outdated version They have apparently been working on an update for at least a year now Id give this app 5 stars if it werent for that        Update

This the perfect vlc remote Controls are large enough and mac connector is excellent Doesnt need to configure every time File browser and App icon are also very good Good job guys                 Perfect

Ive followed every suggestion in the FAQs at the goonbee site and it just doesnt automatically recognize vlc on the Mac I dont know whats wrong but Im giving up after spending the last hour trying to make it work     Doesnt work

I dont know what this app is about but theres not even a tutorial for it or anything not worth 199 my opinion     Ehh

I have two PCs with VLC Setup is pretty easy manual or with program VLC control works fine But then I paid for the browser and it only works on one PC Contacted their support but the message was just this works Except that apparently sometimes it doesntand the browser was the main thing I wanted out of this app        Browser only works on one computer

The developer still has not made it compatible with any version past VLC 20x Last email sent over a month ago with not a single response or acknowledgement At this point Im going to have to consider my inapp purchase used up and just move on        Waiting and waiting and waiting for compatibility update

A functional generally useful app I only use this app for audio What works well is the speed with which you can switch between tracks I use this upstairs with my sound system while my computer is downstairs There are times when there is a delay between sending a signal and getting a response The biggest issue is with playlists I want to switch between playlists frequently and this doesnt allow this well You can switch but you lose control on selecting particular tracks              VLC iRemote Pro

Works very well and much better that all the other vlc remotes Worth upgrading and purchasing the full version This is allowing me to dump iTunes and its remote                 Pretty awesome app

Didnt really need the paid functions but the app was so good I decided to support them and get the paid version anyway Does everything it claims to do Tiny bit of lag time but totally acceptable to me                 Really works great

This app worked once or twice for me and then I upgraded VLC Now it no longer connects on either my iPhone nor iPad I tried the setup helper as well as configuring VLCs lua myself and it still wont work I know that its not my computerVLC since other VLC remotes and wifimice work just fine to control it I hope the developers can get this working again bc I liked the interface when it was able to connect     No longer connects

But this new version adds some new features for controlling VLC settings Features which do NOT work for VLC pre20 which I use exclusively v1111 for PC with Libtyplugindll for 1113 I can still control my VLC but I may just delete this version until you update the app so it controls the subtitleaspect ratio options for earlier VLC as well Please remember VLC is more common than iTunes and many people are still happily using versions even earlier than 1xx Thank you Rating goes back up when I can control the aspect ratio settings and cycle subtitle in pre2x VLC Previous I think there was an update since I first installed this I dont think this is the best VLC remote but it is pretty good My favorite is VLC Remote version 576 which not only can control VLC 2x with difficulty but it has other controls Aspect Ratio Audio and Subtitle timing Ability to add folders RAR files and ISO images Those things need to be added in But not album art But even with those things missing this app works good never fails to find my VLC and even uses other VLC remote helper apps to set up playback Previous Since I already had the Hobbyist VLC REMOTE Setup Helper running on all of my pcs I didnt need the helper app for this one it IMMEDIATELY located four versions of VLC from 112 to 201 running You can set up a different interface for each one Just a couple of things we still need FOLDER SELECTION Also the content you choose starts playing immediately so you cant edit your playlist on the fly So we need to not only be able to choose an entire folder it is of course a default option in VLC but also to be able to cue items in the playlist But I had no problem with this app allowing me to control both VLC version 119 and 201 which has been an issue with another remote app I use        WAS Good Alternative to VLC REMOTE

Great working app to control VLC from your phone Nice clean look and it the most important easy setup and functions                 Nice and useful

Bought this version since the others work so wellit does look nicer and the equalizer controls are actually large enough to move but its missing the spinners can live without and the crop controls must have Oh well cant complain to much vlc is the best player there is and the free remoteworks just fine This version of remote could be a 5 star when it includes all functions        Finish it
