Crashes often and requires phone to shut off to reload periodically Speed averages are nice in the Rankings but distances over past 24 hrs are more telling of a boats progress The ability of race headquarters to cover more than one story at a time is limited Case in point during leg 5 when Dongfeng broke the mast while SCA was losing hundreds of miles per day to lead pack What happened to SCA and why One week later still no info on their issues while we have 1st person video of Dongfengs every move even after withdrawing           Needs work

Good coverage nice options Only complaint is the tracker could display more weathersailing conditions than what it does                 Good App

Lots of great continually updating content of all forms of multi media Would have liked more live stream content and the ability to click on a boat and get content from them ie link Amorys Instagram to alvimedica and allow you to see it in the app                 Great

Combine the Watch log write up into the tracker with the weather and you have a winner That ties together everything for the serious follower Recently the videos no longer give the option to view full screen Bring that back                 Grrrr

The app is very good and informative One draw back is that it should a feature where you swipe from top to bottom of the screen to get latest updates Currently it stuck on the last update when the app was opened I need to close the app and reopen it again to get the updates           Very good

This VOR was incredible I was able to become more involved and intune with what was occurring out in the middle of the ocean halfway across the world like never before I had the pleasure of seeing the boats in Newport and my passion for sailing has grown because of it Great work to all of the sailors and all those who worked to make the race as incredible as it was Thank you                 Great app great race

Very good app can be as simple or complex as you want it to be I mostly look at the tracker but there is a lot more if you want                 Nice and functional

Overall this is a great app It has been getting upgraded as the race goes on There is still some room for improvement but it allows you to quickly catch up with the race The Virtual Eye is a great idea and has been improving as the race progresses The videos did not work at first now they work most of the time                 Great way to quickly catch up with the race

Awesome easy to use informational app with good nice videos for entertainment My only suggestion is they make it easier to view inport and leg races on one east to view page instead of going on YouTube and looking for it                 Great informational APP

I still occasionally have to go on YouTube to find Volvo Ocean race videos but this app has improved several times It sometimes crashes but the virtual eye and the ranking chart rock              Getting there

I have enjoyed the app daily when the race is on especially the tracking feature Real time The life broadcast of starts and finishes also work quite well                 Super cool app

Super app Few crashes Great videos and on board conversations with sailors Tracker works really well but if latlon were displayed it would be much better Occasionally the music in the videos is so loud the sailors are hard to understand              Great App

The app has improved a great deal from the functionality that it had when the race started The tracker in the app from the last race was a much better product than the current tracker              Improved Over the Race

I follow this race pretty closely after all it only occurs once every 3 years Being able to track on my iPad is a real plus                 Enjoy the race

Great way to stay in touch with the race while on the go Occasionally crashes but the interface is pretty intuitive and the links in and out of videos pretty smooth              Solid

Love this app the feed is great scoreboard and other features are nice and clean but the tracker is really excellent Easy to follow the race with this app Great interaction design usability is very good                 Tracker is amazing

Is great for the most part but the latest version freezes too often Greater weather detail would improve it as well as the boat blogs found on the web site Live streaming didnt appear possible from the app when provided on the web site or the app wouldnt update              Volvo Ocean Race app

Great app from all aspects One remark though throughout the race published reports seem to be biased favoring ADOR over other teams Kudos for ADOR                 Great app

I spent 3060 minutes with this app daily viewing pics videos tracker life at the extreme and The inside track I wish youd posted the latter inside track episodes that were live as they were in the middle of the night here in the states so I missed them and they werent posted to be accessible in the morning It would also be good to post the event times from major time zones so I dont have to convert Having a time piece as a sponsor would mesh nicely with handling time considerations for all fans I also missed the leg documentaries from the last race that featured the skippers so prominantly This provided a more human feel for these pros and I enjoyed getting to know them better Thanks for a great event and app I will anxiously await the next of both                 Great racegreat app

This is almost excellent app The folks do a very fine job of keeping the on shore follower up to date with information video and statistics Two suggestions Convert the time references to the viewers local time rather than universal time Use a real mapping program to plot location rather than the stylized versions now being used in Tracker Thank you very much for your outstanding work You have added a lot to my enjoyment of this competition              Almost there

It has everything from the VOR website and more Performance is good lost of the times Only problem it had was the video player it would quit on you              Great App it brings you to the extreme

Revised review App was having problems with videos loading and running but it seems the developers jumped on it and fixed the App with an update and now its back to the very good app it was Well done              Video highlights stopped working on iPad

Only improvement needed is to let users know more clearly when there is a live video feed                 The finish of leg 7 kept me glued to the tracker

This app was a great way to keep up the race and all the action I really love the onboard video                 Great way to keep up with the race

Im a life long sailor and a teacher Sailing is a major interest for me and I follow major sailing events Ive used the VOR App to follow the race since the start in Spain I found it user friendly in terms of navigation and the vivid photography and video truly make the come alive The digital Tracker provides quick and easy to understand position information My day job is teaching high school I decided to incorporate the Volvo Ocean Race into our social studies curriculum Mysterious of my students have never sailed and dont know a thing about sailboats or ocean racing Weve been following the race since the beginning of Leg Two They students look forward to each days VOR class segment We use the iPad App to project race news through our classroom flat panel The vivid videos user friendly graphics and daily updates have enthralled the studentsthe effectiveness of this app is demonstrated by the enthusiasm of my students The bottom line the VOR App is easy to navigate vivid visually and has great graphics Nicely done developers                 This App Makes the Volvo Ocean Race Come Alive

Keep the UTC The world is watching and is capable of addition and subtraction This is a daily goto for me as I follow the race What Larry Ellision THOUGHT he was doing for sailing Volvo IS doing and this app is an important part of it I tune in daily because you gave made it a sailors race as opposed to a boat race and this app and the OBRs make it so J His app                 Love this

This app is overall very good provides good info and is updated frequently But it freezes up a LOT I can hardly ever change the view on the tracker to see wind or more detail And the videos dont play with sound more often than not This happens on my iPad iPhone and computer so I know its not related to one device           Good and bad

Love the app on my iphone runs great Tracker is a great feature and now a devoted fan of VOR Long Lat would be helpful and having the weather feature etc is v Helpful Love the stories                 Great iphone app Sailing gets a new high

Excellent App from perspective of information and reports however seems they have issues loading videos and have resorted to providing a YouTube link recently which is helpful but no substitute for correct programming and testing Biggest area of lacking is Virtual Eyes Tracker Positions are fine but only if referenced to good maps and the weather side is effectively useless Throughout I used the App for everything BUT the tracker and used Volodiajas Universal Tracker for weather uses WX Tiles and maps uses a variety including Navionics Charts which are vastly superior A combination for 201718 would be perfect Other than that the App is great                 Improving App but tracker lacking
