Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Mini Guide

First the app works really well and is a neat way to surf around the park however all this does is replace the paper map you can get for free at the entrance to the park As others have said its could be SO much better Id love to be able to see full menus for each resteraunt have GPS support and perhaps even park and attraction hours In the future if Disney posted fastpass times and wait times online this app could tell you while youre standing in Fantasyland what the wait time is at Space Mountain vs Splash Mountain and whether all the fastpasses have been distributed for the day So please keep working on filling out the features of this potentially great app I know I would easily pay upwards of 5 if I could have menus gps support and park hours                 Good Start but lacks features

This app is great only thing I could ask for is non Internet based info maybe with videos or pics I have an iPod touch so no Internet in parks and for more frequent updates for the other park maps like this one has showtimes hours ect                 Must have

Dont waste your money I thought this was the app someone recommended You can get anything this app offers on a free one     Disney

This was mostly helpful on our recent visit to MK I do not have the 3G phone so Im assuming thats why the GPS part of the app didnt work for me It came in handy because we kept getting split up and my sister had the paper map It also helped us decide where to eat since it showed the type of food and avg pricebut we still asked employees for suggestions on where to eat because of the hours We decided to finally eat dinner at 9PMPretty good for 99 Wouldnt pay anymore than that              Mostly helpful

It used to be a great app til they stopped updating it Now its useless     Hasnt been updated in forever

Needs option to find main gate from where you are at Also GPS will be nice to show ride time waits and other things like dinner reservations and I have many ideas for this great app Good job              Nice But

very very slow to find you in the park Google maps could pinpoint us quickly this app would take forever then it was a pain to navigate so wanted to use it after many different tries always gave up and just used the paper map supplied by the park wish I could get my money back true downside to iPhone apps buying something as horrible as this software with no refund policy     horribly slow

App is a good idea and the information is useful but the speed of the app makes it FRUSTRATING if you want to use the GPS feature Furthermore with GPS enabled it is impossible to see both where you want to go and where you are at the same time because the GPS beacon keeps snapping you back to the current location Lastly you cant click off an activated label for an attraction so when a few items are closely grouped its hard to get the right label to pop up If the performance can be addressed this app has potential Being able to check off attractions and set priorities is nice and made it easy to see where we had been and where to head next           Slow slow and slow

It appears there is an issue with the location service Every time I attempt to find my location the APP crashes The Animal Kingdom APP does not seem to have this issue Lets hope an update to correct this issue is already in the works        Crashing APP

I payed for this app and the first thing I needed was a bandaid for my daughter The first aid station is labeled wrong on the map Next we were standing at the Matterhorn and we needed to find a restroom but the Matterhorn is missing from the map Needless to say I deleted the App        Missing and wrong symbols

I would like to see all the parks on the app but for what it is it does the job I like that only people that are in the park checked by GPS can update wait times so the numbers do not get corrupted Also the colorcoding for priorities on rides is nice If enough people used the app would be a great way to get updated wait times wherever you are in the park A Last Updated time stamp would be great so you are not heading to a ride with 3 hour old info           Good app but limited

I love this app as a frequent WDW vistor it comes in handy The new features it has rating rides etc makes it even better The map is easy to read and see where you are its worth the 99 cents                

This was a good app until it stopped working several weeks ago Is there a problem updating this app     frozen app

Works good able to click on amy Ride and it will tell you if it has fast pass and how long the ride is Also has calander feature click on any day it will tell you park hours and what things are going on that day                 Love

App is slow and only shows main paths Wait times would not update on my iPod was assuming Disney would have an open wifi but they do NOT Basically paid for a worse map than u get for free at the gate                 Not worth the 99

Excellent and handy I would ask that two things be added 1 A navigation route from where you are to the selected attraction understanding that its difficult to program in intelligent routing even a straight line would be helpful 2 On the attraction detail screen it would be really nice to have height restriction information              Great app

Just like everyone else is saying this app is completely awful Extremely slow not very intuitive I really wanted a cool Disney app but this isnt it     Awful

Good to figgure out where u are at and okay to figgure out where ur going Would b great if they could add a list for fast pass rides and add a way to customise a list of points u wanted to see so that you could mark those places and it show up on the map then check them off as you compleated them Could also define the best route to take              Lots of potential

This is the worse app I have ever downloaded Does nothing it says Dont waste your time     Really Bad

Great for getting excited for a Walt Disney World trip Shows Magic Kingdom map if you click on a ride you can see if there is a fasspass and a description of the ride and how long it will take to ride it Also most restaurants have menu prices 5 stars Love it                 Great for trip planning

In a nutshell dont buy this app I rationalized that spending a lot of money in hotel and park tickets deserved a good app to navigate me around Wrong The app does not live up to its promise the GPS is inaccurate most of the time the waiting time was always completely off In the end the old paper map was far better than the app If you still feel you need an app try one that is free     Do not buy

The numbers on the app map dont match those on the Disney map they should as it makes it easy for one person looking at the iPhone to quickly exchange notes with a person looking at a paper map Also the El Pirata Y el Perico Restaurante in Adventureland no longer sells Mexican food but BBQ pork and burgers instead It would be useful if there were some way for a user to indicate rides that are to be donehave been donearent interested in doing sort of a checklist And could the updates indicate which rides are down for maintenance Splash Mountain as of 13 Feb 09 or will be Space Mountain soon It would be awesome if there were a realtime line wait indicator but I doubt that even Disney has that centrally available              Not a bad app needs to be updated and expanded

When asking the programwhere am I in the Magic Kingdomtook awhile The only other problem is that when it found where I was and I wanted to compare to where I wanted to goit always pulled me back to where I was Hard to map out that way        Review of Magic Kingdom

Provides good info about the parks Easy to navigate and find food attractions and restrooms You can even pull up a menu to help you decide where to eat Now with GPS it should help even more while at the park Kids really like to look at it while they are talking about our upcoming trip Thanks                 Good info app

For whatever reason I was required to continue to redownload the additional maps each time i opened the app Wait times are completely jacked Gps map was typically off Only good part were the ride and dining descriptions which you can pick up for free at the front of the parkfind another app if traveling to wdw     Dont Buy

Its great that this app now includes park hours and show times Looking forward to the calendar feature being added to the AK and Studios Guides              Great planning tool

Love this app The update includes better graphics and a feature to rate which rides you are most interested in and even a place to check off when completed The only down side was I purchased the box set of all the parks for 10 which hasnt worked since the 30 release They assure me that it is fixed and just waiting for Apples blessing to release Seems like there is a backlog with Apple since so many apps are being upgraded to 30                 Great App and nice updates

Every time I opened the app I had to re download the additional maps and it even made me pay for them twice It also said that big thunder mt Had a 30 min wait when the ride was closed for refurbishment And the other times were off too I dont suggest this app     Not worth the money

Im an artist and I love Disney This was our 3rd year going there It really didnt help much I see a lot of hope It would be great to have locations for the characters The Disney maps have more info The gps well it did do something but not near me Bathrooms and resturants not bad Again almost there This goes for Epcot too Times for the shows would be nice and the path they take     Needs work

I used this app heavily while touring Magic Kingdom The GPS feature is great and the list of attractions with height restrictions and event times was fantastic The only additions I can think of would be updated schedules for meetthecharacters and automaticallyupdating wait times would be a nice touch but need collaboration with Disney Highly recommended for only 99cents              Great app for tourists

While trying to find my way around Hollywood studios I downloaded this app not realizing that only magic kingdom is included All other parks are I app purchases Then the calendar is not accurate wrong year and there is no way to change it Dont waste your money Im going to ask for a refund     Dont bother

I LOVE this app I cant wait to to to the park again and use it The one thing I would add is a way to add attractions to a list of favorites that way when in the park you could look at your list of favorites and use it as a checklist of which attractions you want to see if you added that I would make it 5 stars                 Fantastic App
