This is exactly what it purports to be This isnt perfect nothing is but its as closer than you could expect The price is high for an app but a joke compared its utility Heck buying 20000 index cards would cost more than this app If you buy it make sure to disable advertisements in the settings                 Love it

I have many Chinese apps This one is klugey and confusing to use Also the compounds and sentences or phrases have been created with the cardinal sin that so many Chinese apps do the sounds of individual characters are STITCHED together with the result very unnatural speech that is worse than no speech at all Also should drop the drop function It also shows pinyin marks and at the same time duplicates the words using numbers for the tones like sheng1 a waste of screen space and also an unecessary distractionthe pinyin marks themselves are enough I think with improvements this could be a good app The absolute worst thing is the stitched together sounds I cant believe developers are still taking this cheap route that results in such unnatural speech        sorry to say i spent 10 on this

Overall its a pretty good flashcard program with both simplified and traditional characters It also provides oral pronunciations                 Pretty good

The nice thing about this App is that the flashcards are already made up and arranged by character number so there is no need for tedious inputing of characters pinyin and definitions Overall this is not a bad App for reviewing Chinese characters in a systematic manner The other side of each flashcard is well organized you are greeted with an instantaneous Mandarin audio pronunciation with no annoying lag time Yale as well as Jyutping useful for Cantonese learners is listed as is the study characters definition as well as a few compound definitions I am giving this three stars bc there is a lot of room for improvement The Correct Incorrect counter is far from intuitive In fact it gives me no useful feedback as far as I can see and it might as well not be there Also the confirmation to start a new test gets old after awhile There should be an option to turn this off Finally the App allows the user to automatically drop characters that were tested correct and also a button to undrop all characters However there is a lack of finese in how this feature is implemented What if I only want to undrop characters in the learning set I am working on The undrop button is like a thermonuclear button it undrops everything That said this App is a serious study tool as is once you get used to its quirks           Definitely Useful but Could be Improved

Great for practicing and reviewing It definitely speeds up the time it usually takes for me to learn new characters                 Superb

Excellent compared to what is out there One HUGE missing feature is the ability to create and save ones own sets Even better if one could create a set and share with a group This could be invaluable in a classroom setting              Very useful asis missing a couple key features

This app is very good and I will continue using it to learn characters Having said that I paid more than I have for most any app and there are a few specific improvements that would make this app even better First the ability to randomize and quiz yourself or make specific lists of characters to work on This is invaluable when learning characters Second the ability to see just the pinyin and the definition and have to write the character from memory This will allow me to use this for learning and memorizing how to write the characters instead of just to read I sincerely hope you update this app soon with these thanks for a great app              Some specific points

Fine program but it would be better with 1 universal copypaste enabled 2 example sentences 3 ability to add vocab to lists and 4 the ability to have multiple usersprofiles           Passable but could be better

To put it simply I use this app everyday to keep up on my reading of Chinese characters This has improved my quality of study ten fold I recommend it to everyone                 Simply great

I use it on commute everyday I learned the first 900 characters in one week With this amount it already covers about 85 of most common used characters Sometimes I even use this app as a dictionary                 Very good learning tool

But it is over priced for what it is              Probably best character memorization appbut
