This was a pretty good program to read web pages aloud by text to speech It couldn t handle all web pages just those with few to no graphics But then the author updated the program and the TTS voices I PAID FOR are GONE What is left are totally crappy computer voices He has eliminated the in app purchases so they can t be retrieved again Fix this or I will insist on a refund The program is worthless without TTS             What Happened To The TTS Voices I Paid For CreativeLight

this was 30 minutes of sweat and labor wasted because it won t work for an iPad 1 so if they care about the customer enough they d state that or refund the difference to a customer 4 99 is a lot to be wasted     not compatible with iPad 1 nativestye

I bought this app because it advertised that it could read PDFs through Dropbox Well I went through the whole process of downloading Dropbox registering for an account going on my computer to put the files on Dropbox then paid for this app only to find out that my PDF was not supported I d appreciate a refund     PDF not supported ekates40

First of all I want to commend all devs who created this app It works people I am smarter because of this App If you are taking online college courses this App is highly recommended because it reads your textbook straight from your iPad Isn t that Grand Hey Devs If you are not busy lol can you work with The University of Phoenix to improve this App for college students One thing that I find the most frustrating about this App is that it crashes a ton when I am reading my textbooks from the Phonenix edu website I still use this App because it rocks Lol Mainly because I don t have to read an entire ethics book My iPad does lol Tell Apple to throw you some R D Money lol They have plenty Check the 10k Cheers                     It works but not 100 RamzaReview

The PDF function needs a lot of work but the text to speech apps out there all have a long way to go This voice used for this app is worth the price of the app I can track with the voice and that s what I need I listen to my assigned reading on my way to class I look forward to updates                     Great voice Andydew

great job i use sevral text to speech apps amd for reading web content this one is the best i have used so far it is very smart at avoiding a lot of the supperfluous stuff on web pages and goes to articles and reads them very cool what i wish for now is a french voices please and spanish would be good as well considering that this app is designed as a browser of the web to include multiple languages would make a lot of sense rr                 very useful Ray's ipad

The app is truly amazing so is the support I sent email and got same day answers The voice engine easily beat that from kindle and some free TTS software on PC at least for text and simple HTML There are kinks in highlighting and skipping text but overall very close to that read by real person I have quite some docs which are kind of dry this app helped me a great deal to go through them while I m doing other chores                     Best TTS app CruelNCalm

Great idea bad execution In its current form this app should be free Does not work with pdfs reads many words incorrectly even easy words and you have to stop reading before changes to voice settings take effect     Does not work as advertised objective 2.0

Purchased app to read documents desiring ability to select reading from particular point on page which developer claims this app can do The START HERE feature DOES NOT work with PDF documents the only document where it would have made a difference since voiceover already reads most of the other document types with excellent control Developer or marketer only discloses lack of START HERE feature after app is purchased The primary features being SOLD in this app are free You are charging for features that are already free on iPad without offering the benefit of control At this point in time I feel really cheated I didn t get what I thought i was paying for     What did I just pay for Crrog

The reading is great However it does not work in the background as advertised No not even on 4 2 The developer knows about the issue but has not changed the description copy You should also be aware that if you are reading through discussion boards it will not read all of the posts The formatting seems to confuse the reader and it will skip many posts The app is good for reading articles It is good at skipping ads and headers and getting straight to the article Just know that it can t handle many common formats and it will not work in the background The developer is working on a fix at least for the background issue The app will be best in class when these issues are addressed Until there is an update I recommend skipping this product and picking up the iPhone version instead It works just fine in the background         Some functions do not work as advertised dandbj13

Built in browser allows navigation of web You can press play to read texts in websites You can highlight sentences or paragraphs to read in stead of reading an entire page I would use this for my special need elementary students in my class who cant read but want to search and navigate the web independently for research or other assignments but can t because they cant read That in mind there are a few things to make this app more useful Things to make better 1 Highlight text that is being read This way students can know what they ve heard and skip over to skim articles Or if there is something useful they can go to it and cut and copy 2 Incorporating something like google voice for students to say search queries or web addresses in stead of typing it 3 Image scanner to read text that is not in a readable format such as a jpeg or gif but important for the reader to decode                 Decent app probably best text to speech web browsing so far Chocolatecoveredbrusselsprouts
