Ever wanted to know what note you`re singing or playing? With the help of What Note it will tell you both the name of that note as well as its location on a piano keyboard. ...
Outside of user error this app works perfectly Very useful when trying to write music and you need verification of what you are hearinghummingthinking                 Superb
Does exactly what it says it does All I did was hum the note that was in my head and it told me the name of it as well as where to find it on a keyboard Very easy to use and works like a charm                 Works like a charm
I dont get it I read sterling reviews about the features and benefits of this program that entice people to buy However after I made my purchase I failed to realize the benefits they noted How disappointing THE WORLD OF REALITY 1 when notes are played from my recently tuned Yamaha Grand Piano it did recognize notes approximately 1 12 octaves in the bass past middle C Beyond that range it failed consistently 2 On the treble side it did better by recognizing notes approximately 2 12 octaves past middle C 3 So if you play one of those notes referenced above the program will correctly identify it but only if your instrument is in tune THE WORLD OF FANTASY 1 Dont try to sing or hum into your device and expect the same results unless you have an American Idol voice with perfect pitch When singing or humming the application is strictly hit or miss with the program displaying notes that are flat or sharp when your voice is just slightly off The program has no intelligence to compensate for and register notes correctly unless they are perfect 2 And someone commented that it recognized whistling Not for me Not for any of my friends So bottom line I could not see any real use for this app Do not expect it to recognize your singing your humming your whistling with the accuracy you might expect Also keep it mind that after the program displays your note you have to be alert to notice it and to write it down quickly because it will disappear from the screen after 1 or 2 seconds It DOES NOT display a series of notes in sequence either by themselves or on a staff for you to write down in a leisurely manner     How Disappointing The world of fantasy vs the world of reality
I love this app it works great I just wish of included the octave of the note If it did that it would be perfect              Wish it included the octave
This app works beautifully I tested it with my marimba and it identified every note perfectly I could then start singing melodies and transcribe them without any problems Great job developers This is a must get app for musicians              Awesome
Although it was mostly correct when it came to telling you what your note was I dont think it was worth two dollars It didnt show the frecuency was or even what octave it was Waste of money        Alright
Simple Works great with singing and whistling Keyboard view is useful too                 Works great
