This used to be great with the iPad Now it does show any files at all Photos etc cannot been see in the Kingston app In fact it doesn t even prompt if you would like to access your iPad photos Also weird connection issues This is the kind of crap we have to put up with Sell a product then drop it and introduce another to make more money Well Kingston if you care to listen you have lost a customer Bye     Shame on you Kingston Paul Peter Pan

Sorry this app works ok on iPad 2 but will not work on the iPhone 4 or iPhone 5 The folders all show up with the jpg files but will show only the first photo in the file I will contact Apple to see if there is an update in the works Until then please remove the phrase compatible with iPhone because it surely isn t         Ron Sonuff

Manual gives directions on how to enable bridge mode by opening app and selecting Settings Problem is there is no Settings at the bottom of the screen as shown in the manual Batch mode sorely needed A real pain to copy over one file at a time Kingston should know better         Bogus directions Jillymag

Time for an overhaul of this app from top to bottom The one positive is when you do get the app to work it functions well but the initial connectivity is a bit sluggish If you pair your device with a bluetooth speaker the connection will intermittently drop with the wi drive and if it doesn t the audio is out of sync I will say of all other products like it this is the one that doesn t have reviews of stuttering performance         It works Kind of egophec

if your like me when you saw this product the kingston Wi Drive the first thing you thought was that ill just copy all of my digital copies to this thing and play them off of that and they won t take up space on my device well theres a little problem called DRM that has to do do with a copy piracy protection embedded in the mv4 file which dozen allow the video playback which is exclusively stated in the online wi drive users manual what I m going to try to do is first put the movie on the device and copy the movie from the device to the wi drive and see if that docent work                     Solution to video playback problem Daws daws

In general this app is great and is easy to use There are two problems with it though First it occasionally crashes This is annoying but happens relatively infrequently Second if you have local movies that you want to watch i e You ve downloaded them to your device from the drive the app will absolutely destroy your battery I just did a test where it took 15 of the battery in 10 minutes with the display on a pretty dark setting This doesn t seem to happen as much when you re actually watching a movie via wifi I suspect that it continues searching for a hard drive even when using local content             Some good some bad Jimmy Two Bears

Every time I try open the wi drive app and select the wi drive I can view the list of movies but if I try to select one I get dumped back to the main wi drive menu Paid a lot of money for the 128 GB drive and now it is useless without an updated app     Does not work with IOS 7 0 4 skipper5315

We are using the Wi Drive and app exclusively to watch movies while we are traveling on the road We have had no problems with either the drive or app my family can watch up to three movies at once and there have been no glitches or drop outs The ONLY reason I am not giving FIVE stars is that the app does not allow you to connect AV cords to the iphone ipad so you can connect and view the movie to an external monitor or TV developers can that be on the update list please                 Excellent For Movies On The Road Fandhstrz

This app has no way to send content to the drive from ios devices What century does Kingston think this is you have to go to a computer to place content on the drive I can do everything I ever did on a computer with my iPad cadcam web publishing etc etc     Miserable app and device itties

Music streaming doesn t read metadata so I can t sort by artists No playlist support that I can find To do any of this you have to organize all music into the desired playlist folder Biggest issue is if you want a song in two playlists you have to copy it twice Network Bridge mode doesn t work at all for me The drive doesn t connect to the network but I m not sure if that s a hardware issue or software Overall the app and drive as a whole are useful but notreally hitting the mark as advertised in terms of the UI             Lots of room for improvement Boo Freemium

The app works pretty well but I find the shuffle mode in the media player doesn t really shuffle from the second time around When I shuffle the songs for the first time it does pick random songs to play However if you start using the app for the second time it plays the same shuffled songs in order So yeah the shuffle mode needs work Other than that it plays the songs             Pretty Decent Tendobeats

Once you understand that the mobile device must be connected to the network being broadcast by the wi drive everything works as expected                 Performs as expected Bass & Vocals

So a couple of things in no particular order 1 Half of the app is not retina which makes it look sloppy Plus I thought its been an executive decision by Apple that ALL apps are supposed to be retina at this point although I m not sure 2 It s hard to connect and not user friendly One of the joys of iPhone and the majority of apps is not wading through support sites and pdf manuals just to perform basic tasks 3 It doesn t allow me to use the default video player which I think would be a no brainer 4 Not iPhone 5 compatible so the combination of non retina icons and the awful black bars on top bottom just make the whole app look like it was cobbled by a 13 year old If you re considering buying this product think twice In theory it s a good idea but the execution is dreadful     The idea has promise but J. What a waste The bridge mode for the WiFi is so bad When you go to connect to the bridge it drops the Wi Drive connection Have to wait for it to reboot and after it reboots it drops the wi fi again Too time consuming If I wanted a 32GB USB drive could have bought one for 10 The online instruction manual is useless     Waste of Money JKWada
