The Android app shows the time that auxiliary heat was running Seems that is an easy addition but that difference with the iOS app has been there for several years now Please make that small change can t possibly be hard to do             Auxiliary heat Jelle1973

Been using your T Stats and app for years have a suggestion for improving your app Allow the user to set warning temperatures for each T Stat in the app 1 upper 1 lower for each mode heat mode cool mode where a notification then gets sent to the app of their smartphone if the given T Stat detects the temperature has risen above or dropped below the warning temperatures This will allow users to be notified of heating system issues failure to heat or runaway heating and also notified of cooling system issues failure to cool or runaway cooling This is benificial for both Single T Stat users AND multiple T stats users with more than 1 zone                 Suggestion to improve your app dsrok

Been using this app and thermostats for about 5 years Like the interface and that it is free Cheapest thermostats on the market Don t forget to include the app on others phones if you travel Wife couldn t figure out why she was freezing when I travelled for work Forgot to update radius function on her phone Oops Operator at the switch error Definitely recommend                     Going strong Need more pack

After latest IOS update this app now turns on my HVAC system by itself while in off mode Had to delete app to it from coming on Next to fix ASAP     APP turns on system while in Off Mode Big Daddy_74

I really love this app I ve been using this app for four years now and it s been wonderful Initially I had problems get the app to provision to my network and maintain connection but over time it has gotten better with updates Occasionally it will drop off the network but manages to reconnect without me intervening Now I m just waiting for the Apple Watch version Hurry up with the Apple Watch release                     Great App rae0568

I used to control two thermostats one for each zone but one went bad and replaced it with a newer smart thermostat this app is surprisingly good and easy to use But I have yet to figured out how to delete the info for thermostat I no longer use                 Nice app GASTURBO1

I have a filtrete stat at work this one and a Honeywell one at home Both wifi While I think the hardware could be improved on to be more modern and smaller the software is excellent Easy to change schedule and I find I look at use history quite a bit Has definitely saved us money over a previous stat I much prefer this app over honeywells Maybe a couple of ideas are an Apple Watch app and also show in the app when the HVac system is running The Honeywell does that otherwise very pleased                     Really good software Dave dent

Program works well for my home Program is installed on 3 mobile devices both iOS and android I do believe this app could do so much more Suggestions I would like to see availability to lock out features based on levels of user control For example I could give my kids access to make changes to thermostat within a temperature range I would like to limit the time this access is available and also block changes to the schedule or other features Also optional email or text alert of temperature changes exceeding a temperature range or value or maybe some smarts to evaluate a temperature change that occurs beyond a certain amount of degrees in a time period such as what happens when a child opens all the doors and windows on a hot summer day without turning off the airconditioning                 Would like to see levels of control what-in-the-world?

I bought a 3m filtrete thermostat back in 2012 or so Finally installed over a year ago That was a pain where I had to use the browser on an old iPhone 3 because newer browsers did not work for wifi setup However since then this app on android and iPhone has been great So has the thermostat The away and thermostat have performed greatly                     Working great for cabin Benbaez72

Just updating this two year old review to say that this product is still working perfectly for me This thing is great I have has this thing for several years now There were a lot of problems early on But that has all been solved This is now a very reliable product And what a pleasure it is to have in one s life To be able to have an odd schedule as I do and yet be able to come home to a warm house The ability to see and set your schedule via a website or an app is great This is so different than most set back thermostats wherein you must set your schedule using a tiny display and a few buttons You will use this setback schedule feature because it is usable The latest update adds a feature that lets you see a graph of temperatures in your house and furnace runtime This is very helpful to you and really shows you how your settings and how the weather affects your energy use and cost The user interface is easy to use This is a 95 of the function of nest for about 40 of the price                     A great product Gollnick

Replaced the thermostat with another brand Now filtrete sends me a freaking email every day that my thermostat is offline The instructions say to log in and update my settings I ve logged in to the website and the app and there isn t any damned place to update the setting to make it stop sending me emails     Please make it stop fixyourunsubscribefunction

This app does everything I need remotely control my thermostat I especially like the history chart of how long my unit kicked on during the time of day and what the temperature was set at However it would also be extremely useful if you can add the outside temperature to the history as well Since the unit is reading the outside temperature all the time anyways Lastly can you make the app show 1 2 degree increment for indoor temperature like the unit on the wall                 Note to developers Disapointed also123

Love this app It works well never crashes and allows me tons of flexibility in managing my heating and cooling control needs I do wish there was a way to either export a CSV file from the app or request a CSV file export be emailed to me                 Great app needs data export rrs170

Update 2017 Please add an Apple Watch app This is an ideal platform for monitoring and changing thermostats I originally bought one of these thermostats from Home Depot under the 3M Filtrete brand name I wanted a network accessible preferably wired not WiFi thermostat for several years but only as of 2012 have they become prevalent and affordable Being able to monitor and control the temperature in your house office or other property at any time from anywhere in the world is simply incredible This app works very well and was easy to set up I like the way it was done with a temporary ad hoc WiFi network prior to having Internet access The app had some bugs in the older releases but they have done an amazing job of adding features and making it more stable since then One of the biggest improvements is the ability to review and configure the automatic schedule They have kept up with regular updates and bug fixes ever since this product and app were released I am very impressed and happy with this product                     Happy Customer ADobkin

Still not a fan of the flat UI nor the new icon Despite a wifi network that is solid as a rock one of my thermostats keeps going offline online offline causing remote control issues that never resolve And now cost me a few hundred dollars in heating oil That thermostat was 100 locally set on vacation mode 50F lost its vacation setting and reversed to scheduled running an oil bill as if we were home all day in a cold NE winter in Jan Rescheduling Wanted to finetune the program for both Copying the sched from one the sched matched neither ts by years In the UI it keeps defaulting to monday view regardless of day you want to adjust The peak am and pm times cannot be adjusted unless one expands the time zone to 3 hours then shrinks m down again AM night time is not clickable             Please fix schedule UI and bugs acrisis
