I love how the hearing aids sounds but the stream is ridiculously bad I m having issues with bopping noises the calls cutting in and out because I m walking and that goes the same for music I m torn from getting a different type of hearing aids because although I m enjoying how well I can hear being able to listen to music and enjoy a movie on my phone is well making me reconsider         Recently got Amtothebee

I have had my hearing aides for almost a year and using the app I don t know what happened probably the latest iOS update my phone can no longer find my aides I deleted them deletes app and reinstalled it worked for a day and now they are gone again Tried to uninstall and reinstall it didn t work this time Very frustrating     Annoyed Bigkidva

My 4000 Widex hearing aids can never be found by the Widex Beyond app A month ago I was able to pair the hearing aids to the app However reconnecting everyday since then is unreliable I have to go back and pair the hearing aids all over again Then once paired and volume adjusted the app resets to default volume setting if you switch to different app When are going to fix this so I can use my hearing aids as advertised     Where are you Widex Mominmidwest

It s saying I need to update but every time I hit the start update button it says there was an error and that I should put fresh batteries in and make sure my aids and paired with my phone both of which I ve done and it still won t update     Won t update loladamon305

I am a musician and sound engineer so my hearing is rather important to me The Widex are my third pair of hearing aids and the aids themselves are very good Much better than the previous 2 top of the line brands However I have been complaining about the app not streaming properly with my iPhone for over a year now The updates from Widex and from Apple have not solved the issue The volume is very unstable It starts out fine for about 1 2 a second them dips way down to where I can barely hear the sound being transmitted from the phone May it be Driving Directions the radio phone calls music or a film This happens anytime the streaming starts as well as after any pause My only solution is to touch the phone s volume up button sometimes just once and the sound pops up to where I had previously set it I have written and called Widex They say they are aware of this issue and are working on it But The problem that in the case of driving directions could be dangerous has not been solved Otherwise everything else works great     It could be a great app but chezedward

This is a really strange control app When I installed it I got a message that says that the zBeyond App has been updated and the the hearing aids need to be updated in order to communicate with the app The screen offers no options and just sits there It says it should only take s few minutes It just sits and never advances I have left it alone for up to an hour multiple times and still no advancement or connection What is the problem IPad air 2 with ios 10 3 3         Widex App MS-Word

It s worth noting here that I m a Voiceover user so anything mentioned here will pertain to how it must be done using the screen reader When I first got this hardware and software set a couple months before the last update addressing the iOS 11 issues this iOS controller for my pair of Beyond 420s wasn t pleasant to use at all with issues such as text sticking around from previous screens and elements not being usable for example There were indeed issues with iOS and the devices themselves maintaining the bluetooth connection as well After the update became available and I waited the few minutes for the hardware to be updated accordingly I found the experience so much better It in fact seems like the batteries last a little longer after the Beyond devices were updated and bluetooth is being used with iPhone Also there was evidently some work done to support the Voiceover screen reader as the back button issue is no longer an issue just so long as you do the Z Gesture Aside from one small issue involving the equalizer presets button not being usable this truely is like dawn after dark in a manor of speaking                 Almost like night and day Application Launcher

This update which I was forced to accept has turned my hearing aids into old tech bricks I have uninstalled reinstalled deleted change batteries stood on my head nothing works It just says update failed Cannot control the volume now     Update has bricked my hearing aids Gm5215

I read all these comments and I agree with several customers that the app simply is not working well I have had the aids for over a year I am very technical and have talked to tech support at Widex and tried all the different settings in the iPhone per their instructions and that does NOT change the fact the there is no consistency on how the streaming works I purchased these aids because I am on the phone streaming to my phone and like to stream music too If you want to use this feature and are on the phone a lot don get these aids I have offered to Widex to be part of a working group with their app developers but no response I want so much for the connection with my iPhone car etc to work so I can hear I have to visit the retailer that sold these to me so he can wipe and reprogram the aids every few months and that seams to help with the streaming stability but not for too long     Hearing aids are fine but app is NOT good Cons18

I can make the app work just fine at home That s not when I need special programs At choir practice last night couldn t open the app even though my church has wireless At lunch today sorry the waiter said we do not have wireless connection Traveling through the foothills and mountains of Virginia no connection At the Hotel I connected successfully with wireless but my Widex tried and tried and I have been unable to get a connection Bottom line special features do no good if you cannot get them when you need them     Frustrated Slo2luz

Bluetooth could be better Sometimes doesn t work at all Music play back at times jerky and could have better tone Works best for phone calls Clear and loud there when Bluetooth is working Why Bluetooth is not available for iPad is a mystery             Good but could be a lot better GJJM 2

Streaming quality is still erratic I can get it to work better my keeping the iPhone off 2 4ghz WiFi and putting my Apple Watch in Airplane Flight Mode The hearing aids want the 2 4ghz spectrum all to themselves Since Bluetooth uses 2 4ghz I can t stream and have my Apple Watch connected simultaneously because it uses Bluetooth For what the hearing aids cost they should work much better than they do or don t claim they meet Made for iPhone specifications         Still having streaming issues JimThePCGuy

The app and function is great and I was so excited to use this product It works but one day it s clear and the next it s terrible Basically feels like I m on the first version of Skype Now it beeps when audio is done after alerts from google maps Very annoying and distracting while driving The update doesn t feel like an update Please look into these issues         Sound quality needs improvement Hbug1880

I ve been wearing hearing aids for over 17 years I ve had a few Phonak and Widex models and the Beyond hearing aids and iPhone integration are by far the best experience I ve had so far The Beyond App i basic but is a good start I loved having the functionality on my Apple Watch but that stopped working after the first iOS 11 update I typically wait a few weeks but it didn t work this time Widex app support isn t the most helpful either If they just put a little more effort into the user experience they would have a much better product         Watch App stopped working after iOS 11 update gsynyc
