This app works exactly as youd want immediately displaying a map with tons of nearby hotspots And when youre connected it updates its offline database so you wont need Internet to find Internet If you have a 3G iPad it uses GPS to determine your location If you dont have a 3G iPad dont be an idiot like some reviewers and assume your iPad will magically know where you are youll have to tell it of course Excellent on and off line
App is very well designed Map integration works like you would hope Select a map area and find all Hot Spots Free Paid and Unknown in the visible area Easily filter only free Was missing one of my Starbucks sites but had a large number of sites in all the areas I checked Great iPad no 3G App
This could have been the makings if a great application but instead does not perform what one would expect Sure it points out the obvious global hotspots like McDonalds and Starbucks but when you want to check for others it is terribly incomplete and the add a wifi site crashes the app I do not recommend until they fix these bugs and get some basic information that would be useful to the off road traveler Crashes and lacks current information
Wow Im a civil servant with time on my hands and found everthing I needed Worth it It wont show your neighbors connection just business Works great
This app can not and will not come close to finding your current location You have to stop and manually key in address close to your current location for it to find you This is the response I got from their tech support The tech support guy also said the app does not work for wifi only iPad very well Funny how they dont mention that before you spend your 4 complete waste of garbage without the location feature Stay away unless you have iPad with 3g Do Not Buy for Wifi Only iPad
I tried the free version but I couldnt seem to save more than one address search offline not good if Im going to multiple places soI bought the upgraded version and it doesnt do it eitheroh and by the way after I enter search it sends the map somewhere in the Atlantic off the Ivory Coast I didnt buy the ipad 3G and need something like this so I hope this gets fixed Not Happy
