I like what it looks and I love all the unique interfaces I hope the developer pulls through with an update that allows for the adding of videos Another suggestion would be the ability to add hand written images right onto the page              It works as description

Upon opening the app you are greeted with a peaceful writing room a room with a view Tap the diary sitting on the desk to get started Personalize your paper as well as your font style size and color Choose icons that indicate your mood the weather or what sort of occasioncelebration the day may hold Add photos and voice memos Write in portrait or landscape mode Share your diary pages on Facebook Twitter or email If you prefer to keep your diary to yourself you can back it up to Google Docs or to your computer You can passwordprotect your diary for further privacy If you want to view a month at a glance tap the wind chime Each dot on the chime represents a day Tap on that date to view that days diary entry Tap the Menu icon a flower in a vase to change the windows view to Golden Fields Blue Beach Green Forest or a photo from your library You can choose from a number a number of relaxing sounds such as birds chirping wind chimes and waves rolling or listen to your own music as you write Here in the Menu is also where you can set up your password to keep your diary away from prying eyes This is also where you can back up to Google Docs or your computer either one entry at a time or as a batch which is a really nice feature You can also access the Help menu here which guides you through the entire app and its features with pictures and simple instructions But Windbell Diary is really two apps in one You can also use the app as a calendarnoteGTD app Back on the main screen simply tap the calendar on the wall to go into the calendar mode and make notes about things you need to get done You can then add a highlight or checkmark in various colors whatever sort of system works for you Truly its more diary than note app but its a nice added feature The only thing I really didnt like was a small ad for other apps that pops up on the Menu page I feel like paid apps should not have ads Also though you can write in landscape mode some screens are in portrait mode only which means a little bit of switching around if youre a landscape writer which I am Thats a small quibble though There is a lot to explore here in this beautiful featurerich diarycalendar app I recommend you try at least one version if you have any need for an app like this                 SIMPLY STUNNING AND SO MUCH FUN TO TRACK MEMORIES

Read the reviews and decided to try lite version Deleted that version and bought the HD version and all I can say is WOW This app has so many things you can do and just AWESOME Well worth the price                 WOW

I think this has potential but it has been constantly frustrating Just updated crashed numerous times So tired of seeing the word counter and having it block what I am typing so that I cannot see the words Dont know if that is fixed because it crashed Potential is possible but the frustration has been constant I might finally just delete it as a lost cause Well this is my 3rd review of this irritating app Could be nice but never has been and looks like it never will be     Still crashes want to like it but

Im a writer published author on paper and I must say that this is the best electronic diary out there Im looking forward to more features like more writing papers and landscape pictures Keep up the work                 Love it

Fantastic UI wish most apps would take some time to develop such a wonderful interface However this app is all ABOIT pretty but TOTALLY UNUSABLE I wasted an hour writing a story saved it The app didnt save it TOTAL waste of time Im not even going to go into the other bugs this apps suffers from the fact that it cannot even do the basic premise it claims to do overshadows any possible other issue     Pretty but useless

Every time I go to the app on my iPad it will bring me to the password log on It shows me the cancel and the confirm and where I need to put in my password Problem my keyboard will not come up at all The only thing it will allow me to choose is cancel or confirm Confirm tells me my password is incorrect The problem Is I can not enter one Cancel just takes me back to the beginning So now I can not retrieve anything How frustrating So Im locked out of my own dairy I lost everything     Can not get into dairy

Its ok does have some cool features but the icons are limited and not very practical Would be nice if you could write on the diary page           Ehhhh

This absolutely did not work The only reason I gave it 1star is that I could not submit this rating without it The help document did not help and the support link went right to the creators Facebook page that has not been updated since 2011 The description reports that the app is a top favorite of Apples and the ratings are all raves I should have suspected something when the current version only had one All the others must have been for another version that must have worked I got it to open and that was about it It sure did not allow access to all those fun things it described Come on Apple give us a way to try an app to see if it fits or provide an escape so we can get our money back if the app isnt what it says it is or doesnt fit the consumers need Thats the BIGGEST downfall of the app world consumers arent give the option to be aware all I can say is BEWARE of this one     Forget it

Best journal Ive ever had Worth every penny Soooo beautiful                 Love it

I like this App It is easy to use and the password protection is nice I do not need to worry about I forget password and I can lock my diary by two ways automatic and manual I think it is much safe now                 Beautiful and fun

No landscape mode only portrait This makes typing difficult because you are forced to use the narrow portrait keyboard No search capabilities No tags This makes the journal entries unfindable except by date And you still have to put up with some ads that flash on the screen why This software is NOT a good choice for someone serious about journaling or keeping a diary Wasted money Will immediately uninstall     Very disappointing

This app is amazing It was almost everything I wanted and I love it It was incredibly easy to personalize it and i was pleased to see the help button that gave me options and details to conduct my personalization I was also very happy it gave a letter count when we wrote in the journal Though I do have a few suggestions The main menu that shows a flower pot and some other things is something I was okay with but I thought maybe we could change it up a little We could change the ink pen and the journal and the clock to something we would like Im not a huge fan of cuckoo clocks And the bead calendar is adorable but is it possible we could change the color scheme Also there is the password menu and other buttons that have leaves Perhaps we could change it with our theme For the beach one we could have sand and seashells for the buttons For the meadow we could have flower buttons and the the forest we can still have the leaves And for the choose your photo option we can choose from the three the one we prefer I believe these could give us more of an this is our world touch Thank you very much for the time and the making of this app Worth the money I paid I highly suggest this to any one reading this get it                 Awesome I do have a few suggestions though

There are very few apps that I immediately said I wanted my money back after downloading If Id pay more than 3 I would have been EXTREMELY angry I was searching for a diary that had a little flare but this is overkill I have enough apps on my iPad that gives me the full iPad Experience with sweet graphics and interactive animations I found myself getting annoyed when navigating this app There are just too many silly things Its great for a teenager I guess but if you are a full grown man or woman and want to just journal your life this is not the best choice The only reason I gave it two stars is because I respect the developers that put in time to create this Other than that Id give it one star I deleted this from my iPad        Not worth it

What a diaryso beautiful with colorful features Ive never used a diary app before and decided to try to keep one on my iPad Out of all the ones ive tried in the app store windbelldiary is the unique one i absolutely love it has the total feel of home and natureThis one has all the features one could ever want in a virtual Diary              Love this

Needs an actual help manual Too many bells and whistles but no action UI a paininthebehind Crashes Pretty but not practical     nothing to write home about

I have tried more than 20 diary apps and this is the Only one satisfactoryI got both the iPhone and iPad version When I bought the iphone version 13I once wrote Email to the developer to ask for an iPad versionso they didThanks for taking my advice Windbelldairy is just the one for me to write diaries for a whole life                 Just The One

I really want to love this app but I cant load photo The app crashes as soon as I tap in the photo album IPad 1 Jessica              But crashes on photo load

I love my diary on my iPhone thought couldnt wait to write on my iPad Problem being I cant password protect When I try to set up password or anything I click on in password it crashes Tried it 4 times A 4 app I cant use until that is fixed Please fix        Help

This app is great Im able to write as many as I want change the fonts and it has a password to keep my thoughts private I havent encountered any problems so I would highly recommend this app to anyone Its very special and easy to navigate Thank you                 Good app

Been using this app for a week or so App crashes upon using the using back button when in the diary and my music seems to disappear after a couple minutes even when the song is longer Would be fun to change font in middle of writing diary page seems you can only have one font per diary entry I am not sure why others say they cant write in portrait have no problem with that havet tried pix insertion yet I have gen1 iPad              Nice appsome bugs tho

This App is amazing bring back the memories of diary keeping I love the ease and look which is authentic and well designed Well worth having and the security feature has let me return to writing knowing that my thoughts hopes and dreams are mine alone Ease of use is also wonderful Awesome                 Awesome diary

Loving this diary app more and more So very unique and charming I love the fact that I can choose my scenery and sound effects all to enhance the feeling of actually being in the diary That includes choosing a daytime or a nighttime mode I find so many of the features to be lovely and absolutely sweet It even has a clock that stays on time with a cute little bird that announces Cookoo at the top of each hour I can use this as more than a diary also I can keep track of notes and events on my calendar There are many features I have not yet discovered but so far Im lovin this app                 Gorgeous and Unique

I find it inconvenient to be forced to switch back and forth between portrait and landscape So much so that I dont use the app and didnt realize until today that there is no search or tagging capability There are better alternatives     Mostly Portrait and No Tagging or Search Capability

Very attractive and innovative design with lots of fun features I love that there are options to personalize and cater this app to fit your moods 4 stars because its a bit glitchy perhaps due to the recent update the settings option within the dairy page doesnt seem to want to work email function has some issues and it crashes occasionally Other than that I think this a great app and I look forward to using it on a regular basis Thanx              Sweet Little Diary

I just downloaded the Windbell diary HD onto my iPad and it was working fine until I set a password When prompted to enter a password there is no place to type it in so now Im locked out of my diary because I cant put in my password Please help Thanks              Beautiful app Love it but

This app gives you such a lovely way to journal Such a beautiful and customizable interface A wonderful way to take some peaceful time for yourself I am just hoping to be able to better understand how to use all of the features I have just started with the app so I may be not seeing some of the info I would love the option to have the sound effects play when Im writing etc                 Beautiful Diary and More

I had this app on my iPod and it worked great and loved itfigured it would be better on this but cant password protect it which makes me feel like I wasted my money because wont use it if I cant make sure its private Apparently Im not the only one who had this problem Please fix it     Problems

Just the diary app what Im looking for Fresh natural style totally different from those apple default machinemade interface diariesI have nothing bad to say about this appIm confident that the developer will provide better and better updates as they come across bugs that just doesnt work as they intendedor in response to the advice suggestion reviews I really would like to be able to add handwriting or more handwriting style fonts I give this app 5 starsand WOO HOOGreat job                 What I am looking for
