Second Unfortunately this advert that keeps opening is now crashing my browser beyond annoying what s the reason for all the junk Firelab stuffs into their apps What else are you stuffing them with First The app functions as advertised however the preference window keeps opening ontop of my work very annoying                 Several know and potentially unknown issues AnthonyHxxxx

This app does what it says it will do which is to dim everything except the app that is currently in use Most of the time that works quite well What I have found so far however is that if I use the split screen feature of macos Sierra neither app is considered in use and therefore both are dim There is a way to fix that which is to turn window focus off while working in split screen and then turn it back on when leaving split screen mode There may be a more elegant solution that I have not yet discovered                 Generally good Gato-chan

This application is designed to be always on I use multiple applications and seldon only need to focus on one one To the contrary I sue a 2560 x 1440 display so I can view more than one window and will copy and past infor between applications of type info I am readig in another screen No soomer that I had this installed that I realized it was not for me and immediately removed it     Not For Everyone macanudo62

I thought it was just me but i wanted this as long as i can remember what a great app I do a lot of TV and multi screen production this app helps there to cover the cluttered desktop And for screen captures in a hurry with out the noise one suggestion I still need to able drag and drop to my desk top files and images please                     Apple Missed it You got it cooptownusa

I wasn t really sure what to expect entirely when downloading this It really made the whole desktop appearance on my aging Mac Air standout not to mention it really is helpful when dealing with several apps simultaneously I particularly liked that I was able to choose the transparency and color tint of the background background windows to match my overall color scheme on my display The application runs seemlessly with the OS Subtle and useful                     Beyond expectations Ez03

I haven t been using this app long but I already love it It s extremely simple and straightforward to use However there is one usability flaw standing in the way of making this a five star essential app The problem is that after you close CMD W the focused window nothing comes into focus I often have a dozen or so windows open at any given time part of the reason I like this app But if I m working in Safari and close its window everything behind the closed window remains obscured I understand that this is happening because I m closing Safari rather than QUITTING it so Safari is still the app in focus However there are several apps I use that I have to leave running after I close them and I m left squinting through the filter to find what I need This is a minor criticism but an important issue for me If it would be possible to bring the next window into focus regardless of app that would turn Window Focus into an essential utility though I have no idea if this is technically possible I still love it but it s just disorienting when you CMD W a window and everything else you have open is obscured by the filter Thanks for the great app EDIT One last suggestion If there are no windows open and you are just looking at your desktop it would be nice if the filter would deactivate As is seeing your desktop icons is a bit tricky                 Fantastic concentration aid with a couple caveats @iambradk

I picked up this app to help deal with all the screens I have open at any time Doing photography web work and just the standard programs you open all the time can create a visual nightmare Window focus brings what you are working into focus and declutters your screen And when you need all the apps visibile a quick click takes you there and back as needed Thanks                     Excellent app when working multiple screens mzscapes15

This app is amazing Bright light from idle application windows I need running all of the time have been straining my eyes for years on my imacs now with this app it auto shades them until I click on it then the other bright application windows auto shade Simple Extremely effective Give me a less stress computing session Worth the money More apps need to consider the user MORE like this app does A Thank you FipLab for the thoughtfulness and effort Another great app                     Amazing if you use multiple monitors TheHCie

It took a little time to adjust to the change but once I learnt what Window Focus was doing I really liked it it does away with any extraneous background and focuses your eyes on the window I find it quite useful                 I like it Ilseruns
