The wink hub and app are very unreliable the bulbs and switches constantly loose connection and you cannot control from the app whats even worse scheduled events do not happen even though the app indicates they do you cannot rely on this product for anything but frustration Then its very reliable     Extremely unreliable This is worse than beta

Disaster This app stopped working after downloading ios 901 WinksTech support suggested Delete the App and reinstall That didnt work Way to be on top of it     Not compatible with ios 901

Wish I was able to set the AC for a length of time such as 2 hours and then it would shut off Much quicker than scheduled onoff              Great app

App is constantly improving Very happy with App They have added changing icons and easily changes names and groups Very nice Still holding out for an IPad app App does not crash Timers and events work              WInk Improving all of the time

Have had wink for about six months In that time Ive had to have my hub replaced my relay replaced and a door sensor replaced It seems that every time a upgrade is available it ends up downgrading The Apple tell you lights are on when they are off and vice versa Very undependable and unreliable I would suggest not getting a Wink system Every time I have talked to the support desk they have been no help     Keeps getting worse

Can no longer control the device because there is no connection My apartment has been an oven     NO CONNECTION WITH APP

Every time I leave the house I have to enable seven different robots in order for all my door and window sensors to be armed to trigger the siren Each of the seven robots has to be individually disabled upon my return Can wink please add a way to enable a group It doesnt seem like that hard of a feature to add Ive called their customer service before and they state this is the number one most requested feature However they have yet to add it           Needs a way to enable a group

I like this app for its ease of use My biggest issue is when the power goes out in my semirural area the hub generally comes on before my ISProuter syncs back up when the electricity comes back on Otherwise it works for me                 Works for Me

Technology and consumer expectations are outpacing what the smart home industry offers There are too many platforms and a lack of integration across independently manufactured products Wink has made progress in this messy space but still has work to do to earn 45 star reviews I use wink hub and relay to connect automate Bali blinds Schlage door lock lutron dimable switches GE link bulbs Honeywell thermostat The customer service team was totally needed and very helpful After several months of set up frustration its finally done and working with some limitations BLINDS web page failed to mention the ZRTSI converter is required 400 extra device App only allows for fully open or closed position It does not send a STOP signal or allow for favorite position which is a major flaw The blind title font is too small and should have functionalitypage design similar to lights LOCKS It was disappointing that the activity log does not identify which user code is locking unlocking the door with notification Kid inlaws housekeeper LIGHTS this is the best functioning feature My only recommendation is to view grouped bulb icons on the main page HUB RELAY hub has been relatively stable after the update debacle Relay is great but the humidity sensor is not accurate Short cuts and robots are easy to build I use the top load as welcome home everything on and open Bottom load as Goodnight goodbye to black out and lock up Which is great Im hopeful that wink will keep progressing           Progress in a messy space

Tried updating the hub and left it overnight Checked this morning and the hub is solid yellow I check the app and its still spinning I unplugged the hug and plugged it back in and its solid yellow Terrible        Wont Update

Very slow Unresponsive Tech support very helpful but like other reviewers wrote it does not work half the time God help us all        Why no ipad version yet

OK I purchased the wink hub and the tripper door sensors and love it I think there is alot of potential with this product especially for the price however when a door or window is opened it does not notify me I have to go into the app everytime to see the activity and it should come up on the screen as a alert like a text message        Fix notifications for Apple iPhone 5s

I have the GE light bulbs and Im really diggin them But its an absolute pain when trying to utilize the dimmer on the wink app It takes about 50 different tap and slides around the button to finally activate the dimmer It would be nice to see it set up a bit simpler so that its not such a challenge to use              The dimmer

Lights out of order on screen Cannot rearrange Light icons display wrong light status showing as off when on Lights still dont dim until below 50 and default status of light which is switched off shows light as on Losing faith software will ever be good     Do not update Bugs galore

So close to being really useful but my wink hub GE Link bulb setup doesnt work reliably The robot feature using GPS could be awesome Make light groups available in Notification Center Single bulbs arent very useful        Make more reliable Light groups

Used the device app for 2 days it was great then all of a sudden nothing the orange light of death on the Hub the app just spins spinsIll update if the company gets back to me if not returning the Hub this week Ill go with a different product     12 star

Bought the whole house automation package that included a thermostat named Norm They had a delay in shipping due to product development Once we agreed to be testers for Norm they shipped the package Norm worked great but then we got a notice to remove it immediately and we would receive further information on returning Norm Never heard from them again even after repeated emails Avoid this poorly run company as the question is how long will they be around to support their products     Scam

I like the product just wish it integrated with more products like the Kevo lock and others Almost good           Needs more integration ie No Kevo lock

Very good Ive been using it for 3 months nice app design cant beat that hub in price The shortcuts work well on the watch and the notification area very convenient Changing rating from 4 to 2 stars lately Im constantly getting the message on the app that the hub is offline even though has a blue light        Impressed

I love how many things I can incorporate and control through the Wink hub so easily I cant wait to continue to add more products                 Life made easier

My Aros was finally working almost perfect until the recent update Now my widgets dont work Aros offline Please fix     Finally

When it works it is enjoyable and convenient But anytime there is an update which is frequent most lights reset and so does all the organization you will have done in your App to fit your home layout Takes hours to get back to normal HUGE WASTE OF TIME and their tech help gives nothing more than identical suggestions regardless of your issue which amounts to being useless        When it worksIF it works

Okay to be honest weve only been using the hub for 3 days but totally flawless so far Right out of the box this product set up quickly and smoothly even ran an update without a hiccup We then installed a couple of sensors easy and quick as well Husband turned off the power and installed an outlet easy and as advertised no issues whatsoever Okay so then some GE Link bulbscouldnt get any easier reallypiece of cake All products work perfectly from iPhone and iPad inside the home or from miles away exactly what we hoped for So sorry for issues others are having but maybe they havent updated the unit I really dont know The ability to schedule the separate products to go on off or lights to brighten or dim is fantastic were thrilled                 WINK Hub Great so far

Wink needs easy integration with other iPhone users in my home Like if we are both away from home set a robot to be on like get notified when someone trips a sensor Robots need to have groups too Also if you have trouble with the hub not connecting to GE bulb and no matter what you do it wont work with support your hub probably needs to be replaced That happened to mine and ever since the hub was replaced it worked totally fine One more thing my Honeywell wifi thermostat that was recommended by wink to get before they came out with their own constantly loses connection and has to reauthenticate Please fix this Keep coming out with monthly bug fixes and feature enhancements and this will be the greatest app in the home automation space           Needs an update

2 hubs 6 GE Link bulbs Sometimes the app control works sometimes it doesnt You just cant depend on them and of course its when you really need them that they quit on you often After months of persistence and frustration I just put away the hubs and I just use the bulbs like dumb bulbs now Well at least theyre pretty But I shudder at the people who bought wink controlled garage door openers I feel for them never knowing for sure if their garage door is open or closed Dont waste your money        Rarely works when you need it to

Everything was going swimmingly well with my aros quirky air conditioner The smart away and location based robots were working wonderfully Ever since I updated the app the air conditioner no longer turns on when I leave work or the gym Now I just walk into a hot sweaty apartment Oh well           Used to work before update

Wink still has a log way to go with this app and their entire solution It is really unreliable and a couple features fail to work altogether Namely lights dont show up in the widgets just says unable to load I get constant twice daily account errors when trying to use my thermostat with the app I wish I wouldve waited for Samsung Smartthings to be released before investing in all this Wink stuff     Not good at all

I bought an air conditioner that I could turn on from my phone twenty minutes before I got home Quirky GE Aros It runs via Wink Whether LTE or wifi in the home it only works sometimes Getting up and pushing the button works always though     Works sometimes

I like that I can use an app with my ac I hate that it doesnt work all the time I press different settings and it doesnt respond most of the times so I have to get up and do it manually on the ac Even after all the updates Please fix it        OK

It is very unreliable when you needed the most it doesnt work needing to restart unplug and plug to make it work back also shortcuts work when then want I wouldnt recommend this to anyone        Not ready

Since I updated to iOS 90 and 901 My GE lights no longer turn on or off although the notifications say they have been The Schlage lock does lock and unlock the door but the app takes several minutes to finalize the locking and unlocking     Lights dont work now

MyQ Chamberlain remote light switches work directly through the MyQ setup but Wink does not even have them in the setup Please add them     MyQ remote lights not available

So far the Wink app is a huge disappointment It is beyond quirky It plain flat out only sometimes works Cant really leave home security and safety to a careless steward What good is an app that promises to guard your doors and windows sometimes when it works Not much     Overpromises

This app is bad it doesnt work Im afraid of using it because it can freeze my babys room because it doesnt respond to commands very very quirky     Very bad

As a software developer I have no idea how you guys can make a product for home automation that disconnects and so frequently goes into a bad state Somehow while all of my other standalone connected devices are always online always connected including Lync Thermostat and Skybell the Wink is about 5050 I use this product in my vacation home so that I can control the locks on the door etc when Im not there I am not able to powercycle the system because its a vacation home and its pretty ridiculous that I am better off connecting directly to my other smart devices than using this hub You guys really need to do more QA on your hardware There should be a mechanism that automatically reconnects or powercycles the device if it cannot get a connection for 30 mins At this point I cant turn off my lights lock my door or shut off my water valve because the Wink Hub has been offline for 3 days At this point its just not reliable enough and I am going to look for another solution     Constantly Disconnecting devs please fix

This app used to be great to control my Aros AC But the recent versions never work defeats the purpose of having a smart AC     Broken by recent updates

Ever since the most recent update to the wink software app Im unable to trigger a shortcut in IFTTT based on my location What happened     Synching Wink with IFTTT

Completely useless unless you just want to pair a bunch of crap together and that have absolutely no practical purpose A waste of money and my time Does not work as advertised Youre better off giving a 3 year old a handful of remotes as you can give more direction than with this junk     Garbage
