I ve looked at several of these winmail dat viewing apps because I do a lot of work with an organization that is standardized on Outlook s Exchange s rich text platform While all these winmail dat apps can extract attachments this is the first one I found that also can show me the rich text of the actual email That s a big deal for me because I m constantly receiving large tables and all the formatting is lost when MacMail and Thunderbird handle the messages by converting them to plain text So I m giving this app 5 stars because 1 it can do attachments and display the rtf of the message 2 Clean interface easy to use 3 no click baity try before you buy that basically doesn t work unless you pay and then find out it only does attachments and not rtf 4 less expensive than most of the others 5 just works consistently no headaches Thank you for a great app                     This is the one Jeantet

Like others when I open a dat attachment I get the TNEF attachment has not data So I tried TNEF s Enough no problem Guess I ll stick with TNEF s Enough     Fortunately it only cost 99 fooson

This app does an excellent job of pulling out and making accessible files locked into winmail dat attachments It opens immediately when you click on a winmail dat attachment Once open it works pretty intuitively opening up Excel PDF or Word documents directly in those applications just by double clicking the file One can also save a file directly into a folder in Finder with the Save button My one complaint is that you must do this one file at a time It would be much better if one could select multiple files and save them with one click nor can you click drag the files they must be Saved                 Does the job MShim

Please don t update this app in case you break it It works perfectly on all my mails i e attachments in the Apple Mail app Before I have to save the winmail dat file to my desktop rename the extention to PDF and then it would open up in Preview Equally I could write an Apple Script to do the conversion whenever I save a certain file to a certain folder But why bother Now with Winmail Viewer I can just double click the attachment winmail dat file in the mail and Winmail Viewer automatically launches and offers the option to preview or save the file That s fantastic                     It simply works iBest
