This electronic edition app lets subscribers read the daily newspaper on an iPad with all the pages, stories, ads and photos shown as they appeared in print. Digital subscribers can access current and back issues ...

On May 27 2013 I paid for a year subscription to this app through the iTunes store I downloaded the app and have never been able to log into the app It wants me to pay for the subscription again Maybe iTunes never forwarded the money to WSJ Not my problem I ve tried sending emails to addresses at the WSJ with no replies And there is nothing in their posting on this site that shows me how to contact them So I m out 40 Well at least I can go into my admin on my iTunes account and keep it from renewing Horrible Peter McNeil
No way to open an account On this App Bad Dhery
Works great I can read the paper wherever I am and it cuts down on the recycling Awesome mreid446
Most days as you have the same content as the print edition including the 77 square Neighbors and Parade inserts You will not receive the Sunday comics or the wedding birthday announcements Some of the captions unreadable on New IPad zooms in blurry Not quite a replica of the print edition Wubbadubba
The WSJ e edition uses the same display format as the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel The full page displays are a bit fuzzy the headlines are clear enough to read but doesn t look right on a Retina Display It s also not compatible with the iOS newsstand feature However it does provide the familiar view of the print edition so if you re familiar with that layout and your favorite parts of the paper you will have no trouble finding them here When zooming in on articles to read the text and photos are quite clear Each article has links to Ke to you to the page with the rest of the article and a link back to the first part of the article While I personally prefer the format of the NY Times he format here is quite acceptable and effective Pretty good doesn t take advantage of Retina Displays frdmfghtr
