The WISE is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 16.5 MB to download. The new WISE app version 1.1 has been updated on 2014-11-23. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. With school districts turning to the iPad as an omni tool this app is just what I needed for my high school math classes It has great flexibility for titling numbering and coding courses students and assessments Compatible forms are varied and free to download and the initial set of free scans lets you find out for yourself how effective it is Its accuracy is perfect and if you become a fan 19 95 per year isn t a hard sell to your principal We re already using iPad stands on campus so I can t speak to the ease of use of this app if you don t have a stand to hold the iPad horizontal but I doubt it s much of a concern I won t be moving on to any other optical scanning solution after finding this one                     Outstanding bad guitar

I have spent many years looking for an app that could grade a students paper by simply scanning it until one day I came across the WISE app I knew at first sight this was not some ordinary app with bugs and nonstop issues but behold it was a brilliant and magnificent work if mastermind art As I used the app it grew on me I quickly fell in love with it It s beautiful scanning process The way it shows me a students grades in a matter of seconds Overall this app has changed my life physically mentally and emotionally Thank you                     Fantastic TeachersUSA154372

The new reports and exporting features are really convenient I have already entered all of my students but I m excited that next year I will be able to just import my rosters easily The tap to focus camera makes the scanning a lot more efficient because I don t have to wait for the app to decide to focus and I get clean scans every time                     Nice updated features Chi22chi22

I looked at several of these test scan apps and this one won out for several reasons The ability to go up to one hundred questions is great The app is simple to use once you get used to it and tests are scanned in no time You get great item analysis reports and you can give students individualized scores back that either show or do not show the correct answer which is nice if you want them to do their own test corrections Also nice the individual results come two to a page to save toner paper But one of the best things is that there is a student info sheet that they bubble in and has enough room for their whole Student ID number so you don t have to input all 150 of your students manually you have them bubble in the sheet and scan them into your phone and they appear In this day and age in education we need quick access to data and this does this exceptionally well Highly recommend                     Great Alternative to Scantron bmoreheel

The student input forms as yet do not work but if you enter student data directly the app becomes more functional I would definitely experiment with one class and create tests under 30 questions as you get more used to the app I am using an iPhone 5c and iOS 7 0 4 and there may be some issues with that combination that others are not seeing However the customer support has been very good with the app designers contacting me directly and working through issues directly Definitely worth working through as this in the end will be a big time saver             Update Biology teacher 136

I love this app my biggest complaint is that it can t read sheets if you are too close to a light source But this isn t an insurmountable challenge and the app is a huge time saver I totally recommend it Oh and the developer is very responsive which has totally earned my loyalty                 Watch out for lighting jon.link

This has great potential I love the idea and it s wonderful when it scans correctly However the app had a problem reading 0s and 1s in the Identification ID and the Test ID It can take several minutes to get it to recognize the 1s and 0s even after using pen and adjusting lighting for a possible glare I would also like a report on the screen after you scan that shows which numbers students got wrong Right now you have to scroll down to find them after going into another screen I d like it to pop up easily to facilitate grading marking the wrong ones on their papers         Could be excellent Mandalyn29

When this app works it is great Unfortunately when I am trying to create a report for one of my classes it keeps closing Also it doesn t read a lot of the student ID numbers so it doesn t give the grade to that student I wish there was a way to edit the score when it doesn t read the ID Also there is only one type of report that I ve seen I wish we had more options Like I said before when the app works it is good I see a lot of potential it s just not there yet             Good but needs work CRR2013
