Wishes by Elfster

I like the app so far but I feel there should be the group chat on app And also just like online ask questions like What is your favorite thing to do              Chats

Its great and convenient a few more features can be added but overall great concept                 I love the idea of this app

I love using Elfster the website not the app The app is missing the activity log and the anonymous QA and its definitely missing the wish list feature where you can add items by searching adding a direct link andor adding your own text It would be soooo much better than having to go through the website on my phone The wishlist search by category or store is no help Takes wayyyy too long to find something I already have a direct link to        App is missing great features

This app is only good to view a wish list It doesnt offer anything to do with gift exchanges Waste of space on my phone Immediate delete     Not worthy

If you keep trying to get it to perform right this thing will waste gobs of your time Save yourself and dont even download it It needs about a half dozen major repairs before it will work properly     Unrivaled Junk

I thought the last app was bad but WOW this is way worse You get locked into one area and cant get out Yikes this is terrible Stay away     Is this a joke

I get a popup that says error when I try to sign up with facebook even tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it Cant even use it     Wishes by Elfster

I like using this app to access my persons wish list while out shopping In that respect I LOVE having this app However if I want to add to my wish list and the item isnt on Amazon its difficult if not impossible to do so I cant just write out what I want in text only if I only have a general item suggestion to add This app is a good start but adding variety to the way I can update my wish list would make it a lot better Adding the interactive question and answer part of the website would be nice as well           Elster the App

Cant sign up through Facebook cant login through Facebook user info put in and still wont log in Cmon elfster Bring the original application back I need it this Christmas     Wont log in

Ok so first ill start with the pros pros The in app search feature is very nice along with the easy to use and inviting user interface You can also add people who also have the app to share your wish list with My only complaints with this app would be that I wish there was a way to keep track of the cost of the items on your wish list in addition to making it possible to send your wish list to the emails of others without worrying about whether or not the have the app Ill adjust my rating accordingly           Decent but needs work

I love this app i made account for my mom cuz my moms birthday is coming and does it really Send presents to your house on your birthday                 This is wonderful

LOVE Elfster HATE this app Crashes constantly you when on the app can only shop at around 20 stores you cant search for them gets stuck on pages and wont scroll and wont budge editing wishlist items doesnt let you change every detail only about 3 of them Buggy and not thought out     Junk

12162014 940PM So I sent an email to support who responded very quickly Essentially gift exchanges and wish lists are still manageable but you have to get through some unexplained oddly set up views before you even have the options So I will increase my rating for now though its only based on my initial experience with the app until I have a chance to use it more 12162014 900PM Wow I didnt think they could make this app any worse Clearly not using native controls implementation of custom controls not explained AT ALL not able to view previously created exchanges or wish lists At least on the previous version you could manage these two things I dont want to be to harsh because the app is free and looks as though its maintained by 1 person not a team of people In any case please add back functionality use controls people understand or at least provide info on how to use custom controls For the app shopper dont waste your time downloading this version go to their mobile site        This is just awful

Not sure why they changed it but the app it used last year rocked I was very sad when it didnt work this year the was excited to find this one only to be disappointed by the major reduction in usefulness Shame on you elfster Why did you change it     Loved the old app This one leaves a lot to be desired

Guessing accidental release of a beta version Not much working other than giving me ability to log in    

Works as it says it does Easy way to add or view lists Only critique Weird loud static noise every time I switch between tabs It gets annoying              Overall useful app for Elfster

Looked for the Elfster app after setting up my family gift exchange Initial page was hard to dismiss but once in I found my exchange and wish list friends etc real handy for this Swede                 Great app

I love Elfster heres some issues and recommendations 1 I am trying to add people to my group but they report they are not receiving an email requests when I send it the request by either entering their email address or clicking their name from my Elfster friends list 2 Some my two newest friends on my Elfster list do not even come up when I try to add them to the group via my Elfster list 3 I have also been informed that when someone did receive an invitation for either a group or gift exchange to their email it is not autolinked to their Elfster account of the same email address 4 I suggest that when a request is sent that the person can click on groups and see any group requests or click on gift exchange and see any gift exchange requests that they can approve or deny 5 I also recommend a link to get to the wishlist from the add to wishlist list otherwise there are extra clicks for home than to view my wishlist Thank you for you reading           App should do what the website can do instead of just link to it

This app is completely nonfunctional I cant login to my account via Facebook the error codes are laughable vague and the website has no support or help for this app This would have been my 3rd Christmas using elfster oh well     Nonfunctional

Every time I try to link the website through the app I get the response invalid URL Using their website on my phone to update my elfster Really disappointing     Awful

Love the app but its only great for MY wish list theres no option to view the wish list of whoever you drew in your gift exchange Deleting this until thats fixed        Cant see my Draw

Quick for updating your wishlist and looking at others But thats about it it doesnt let you comment on others wishes or send secret messages like the website Its very basic does the job but boring           Needs updates

Ive been using Elfster for 2 years now and theyve made it so its difficult to add a link from a site not on their shopping list Ive been trying to add a picture and link for the past 3 hours and it keeps crashing Please fix this     Worst ever

Very frustrating maneuvering around this app Not user friendly at all Sometimes cant go back to previous screen hard to add a general item to wish list thats not from a store difficult making an individual wishlist Great concept but not convenient     Needs improvements

We ended up just putting names in a hat and drawing them out ourselves This app was just a big pain in the     Needs Work

This app is a joke It cant even open when you log in with Facebook and whenever I can it crashes after a few seconds or freezes UPDATE IT ALREADY This app in UNUSABLE NONFUNCTIONAL DEAD POINTLESS AND COUNTERPRODUCTIVE     I would give zero stars if possible

I would really like the ask a question capability to be added to the application along with more interactions between the person that youve drawn for secret Santa If this is a possibility I would like it to be easier to find I could not find it in this app        Would like to see more

No group monitoring on the app and the website is not responsive to mobile devices Boo     Useless app and unresponsive website

I love Elfster have been using the site for 10 years but this app is no good I am unable to add new items to wishlists and always get an error invalid URL when trying to add a wish via a link It works ok for viewing my own and my friends wishlists but not functional for adding new itemswishes or updating but existing ones Also theres no way to see your exchanges only wishlists Stick to the website this app is just frustrating     Good for viewing wishlists only

The website is much easier than this app The url function doesnt work so you really have a hard time adding items Its nice to view peoples wish lists but its useful at all to add anything Please fix this        Not easy to add items

I started a Secret Santa and its loads of fun Wishlists are good too                 Love it

I loooove the website but this app is lacking and BIG time It wont let me add anything to my wish list and all you can do is look up stuff and see what you already have in your wish list I already know what i likewant so i would much rather be able to see my SSs wish list or any other wish lists Need major bug fixes and improvements love the design and colors Easy to use and navigate just give us more options thanks           Elfster app
