This is the first and only remote app I ve ever downloaded so I don t really have much to compare it to but after reading reviews of other WMP remotes this app is awesome It s very simple download app then download software to install on your PC and you re in business The only thing it s missing in my book is a button that rewinds what you re watching like 10 seconds something similar to what DirecTv or Dish have on their remotes If it had the rewind function 5 stars all the way This app really is AWESOME                 Really Great Application LoyalBlue713

And now I can use this again thanx guys When you update the app PLEASE do not make it iOS 7 only There is a hidden installation step I ll list that here so you can try it 1 open Windows Media Player 2 Right click on top of player choose More Options 3 Go To Plugins 4 Scroll Down to Background 5 Put a CHECK in the box that says uICE WMP PLUGIN 6 Close out the options WMP will now immediately open in the Remote App ALSO and MOST IMPORTANT In Re to the guy who stated that there is a VIRUS in the SERVER SOFTWARE What bloody AV are you using that gives such BLATANT FALSE POSITIVES There is ABSOLUTELY NO VIRUS TROJAN or ROOTKIT in the install package or the files it extracts This thing is 100 SAFE It uses DOT NET 2 0 as a framework I suggest uninstalling whatever AV detected the virus and installing ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5 0 And MalwareBytes too But I suspect you did not find a virus at all Else you would have identified it like I would have right It s Great Works rather well I hope they continue to develop it the only thing lacking is a way to switch to FULL SCREEN from the remote itself                     New Windows 8 Server fixes app XweAponX

App is currently non functioning for my windows 7 pc I have tried reinstalling the pc software and the app The issue probably has to do with the fact this has not been updated since 2011     Non functioning chpipes

As pointed out by some other reviews the app works best with playlists There is a lot of room for functionality improvements but the app as all the core features I was looking for Well worth the cost and with come small updates in the future could be everything the iTunes remote app is                 Good app overall Avlman

Paid for the app then tried to load the exe from the web and my anti virus software said it stop a Trojan virus What the heck     Trojan Virus Petey141312

I set up the server and downloaded the app in close to two minutes It worked right off the bat Watching the kings speech as I write this                     So far so good zwright7

I watch video from my pc on my flatscreen tv before I had to either use the mouse on my desk or use a vnc app not anymore I can add vids from anywhere on my pc control volume and switch to fullscreen everything I was looking for Well worth the price                     Perfect Mmmmrats

Do not buy this app It only supports wmv I have tried jpeg mpeg and mp3 None of these qued up Even though they flawlessly play in WMP Dumb Dumb Dumb     C R A P GodDaMonster
