C mon bro This is a 10 app that has zero effort put into its user interface It seems the developer just slapped some buttons on the screen back in 2006 and called it good It s now 2015 and not even default Xcode apps look this awful For 10 I would like some effort put into the user experience App functions but it s so basic the 10 price tag irritates me         App works but needs updated interface Drumfreakuthgf

I use this app to control lighting and appliances in both my home and vacation home X10 module quality and phase issues aside this app has worked perfectly for me and provides on off and dim level feedback for lighting modules which is handy in a remote application                     Works perfectly reasonable price Mskar

My needs simple control my X10 devices This product is excellent simple easy to use easy to set up Support is excellent Great forum for interaction with support and others on issues ideas and development I have the CM15 so I get device status feedback through this app I was using X10 ActivePhone with my IPhone i like this product is much better                 Excellent dwrede

This app is amazing Just works Worth tome and money to set it up A couple of comments 1 If you have multiple network connections disable all but the true lan connection otherwise the server won t necessarily the correct one After the server is running enable them 2 Lacking the save option might be confusing for some updates the options on the fly 3 I don t think folders grouping is a shortcoming I agree naming can prioritize options For me it would make it more cumbersome navigating through menus to flip a switch but if people want that put it in as an option Rolling down on a list is much quicker unless you have many devices Overall this app is one of the bests I don t usually take time to write reviews I know I should but I made an exception simply because in the x10 world applications don t usually work seamlessly say the least but this does                     Just an x10 fan X10 fan

Really easy to set up and almost no delay for turning on modules I will give 5 stars when I see these things in update 1 2 way radio for confirming if the module is on or off 2 Folders for modules for organization 3 Settings in app not in settings of iPhone 4 When you scroll the dimmer automatically dim not have to press dim Same with brighting 5 A switch instead of a button to go along with the 2 way radio 6 This isn t part of me making five stars it s just a cool idea if people already have this set up you should make a web interface so you can put this on your website and enter your ip and port and password and control your x10 from your website just an idea though             Nice app howcin

it would be nice to see an update address the issues that users that use both 3G and wifi Being able to toggle easily between two Hostes would be nice when around the house I use my IP address When I get out of range I need to switch to my dynamic host address for 3G access All and all this is such a great app It is well worth the ten dollars spent It can be a little tricky setting up if your not computer savvy Once set up it works extremely well and impresses the hell out of other people                     Awsome Farmer1ab

WOW That s an understatement when it comes to describing my satification with this App I have timers setup on my home automation system but sometimes it doesn t meet my needs Using this product via wifi or 3G Edge is perfect I ve had my iPhone for about 16 months and THIS is the FIRST App I purchased I m not too quick to jump on things until they have a good reputation This product is great The forum support is great too Very friendly with quick responses I can t say enough good things about this app and developer If you use X10 home automation and you have an iPhone you can t do without this app This app gives you control over your system I m very excited to see how this app grows Thanks again for a great product                     If you use X10 you have an iPhone YOU NEED THIS APP Woofs

This a great little app I have been x 10 ing for about 30 years I am currently using the ActiveHome Pro CM 15A controlling about 50 devices routines and macros around the house Of course I had taught my learning remote control X 10 commands but this little app lets me loose another remote control Sweet The best thing about this app has been the customer service I was having trouble getting my CM 15A interfaced with the app so I shot off an email and QUICKLY received a reply The tech stuck with me until everything was talking The problem was with my interface software NOT the X 10 Commander or the suggested SDK s I see some complaints about the wheel as an interface but I m okay with that If you want your devices grouped in a non alphabetical order just get creative with your naming format My front room devices are named A1 A1 lamp A1 sconce A1 Entry etc and the bedroom devices start with B1 B1 Bed B1 Fan B1 Closet etc I may come up with a better trick but this works just fine By creating a virtual point I am able to trigger macros I am totally happy and its only day one If you want to control your X 10 s and are a little bit hesitant don t be This app does what its says it will do very gracefully                     Great App Michael Kipper

The concept is basic once you figure out how to make it work 4 stars because the layout could be better and it works well Two suggestions for the developer 1 Make it so that I don t have to switch back and forth when I m in and out of my network This should be automatic 2 Provide a different view option so we dont have to use that ugly scrolling wheel Maybe a box layout Hey I might just stay loyal to this developer                 Better than what s out there Micr0driguez

A scrolling list of lights and appliances is pretty boring and makes it take longer to do what you want The list is also backward on the phone compared to what you set up on the computer which is slightly annoying Macro support would be so easy for them to add and would be very helpful as would all lights on off commands This is a halfway done app for twice what it should cost I ll still give 3 stars because I love X10 and am glad to see the iPhone interfacing with it May write my own app if I get bored enough though could be so much better             Too expensive bad UI SteveWin1

WOW Tech support was wonderful I had an issue with x10 and he had the solution Once the X10 device CM19A was working on my computer it took 5 seconds to get the app working The app is incredibly easy It is nice to have the option of x10 control from my phone I can customize the menu to reflect my module names and its very easy to use and setup was simple with my wireless home network Thank you this is a great app for anyone who likes x10 or has a lot of x10 in their home                     Great X10 app x10user1

This software is a waste of money it is just a x10 remote for around the house if you want to use it with 3g you need to go through a whole process of downloading software and making your IP address available to others which can leave your computer in harms way X10 actually sells software so you can remote control your equipment from across the country at half the price if you have active home pro you just need a add on Forget this waste of money to bad I cant get my money back     Waste of money brale76578

I was able to work with Melloware to get this awesome app to work with Linux using Heyu It responds a lot faster than palmpads and it even shows you the status of the devices                     Works with Linux using Heyu BrandtD

The X10 Commander functionality is so kool It was a little tricky for me to install Had my first dealings with the System Startup and RegEdit but all went well I had two questions which were answered really quick thanks I m using the serial CM11 and I ve been informed that CM11 support can be a little flaky because of serial port issues and conflicts etc So I m going to have to buy the CM15 to eliminate the periodic freeze up that the X10 Commander is exhibiting I m still a happy camper this app is a wonderful enhancement of my X10 home automation system Not as polished as the REMOTE app but clearly a great addition to X10 automation Get it if you re an X10er And their tech support is outstanding if you have a problem                 The X10 Commander functionality is so kool DavidOO

This App is excellent It eliminates the need for all the RF remotes that I have around the house And it is faster than an RF remote Setup can be a little tricky with the router and the port forwarding Also your router needs to support NAT Loop Feedback I needed to update my router anyways Support is phenomenol from Melloware They were extremely helpful thru the 2 problems listed above I would like to see the ON and OFF commands reversed as I am so use to my RF Remotes with the ON on the left Keep up the good work                 X10 fanatic Bill inAZ

It s disgusting although they are selling this apps but still they do not have a service for the server side app THAT MEANS IF you were to control your lights remotely they expect you to drive Home and log on to your PC and start the Commander app on the PC         Still Cannot RUn as a service KUNUGADGET

The app itself works great however some of the additions I would make are the following 1 3G edge network support we might as well use our remote s at home if it s going to only work on wifi 2 2 way communication between the modules to see the status if they are on or off 3 ability to organize the names of modules 4 a more attractive interface perhaps switch buttons as opposed to a scroll wheel with on button and off button If these issues were to be resolved I would complete the 5 star rating                 Needs a few improvements CCSbusiness
