xkcd Comics is a streamlined comic viewer for xkcd.com. It displays the current comic, but also provides a list of past comics that you can mark as favourite, or share with others via Facebook, Twitter ...
This allows saving favorites and saving to phone as well as other share options Plus it doesnt lose your spot when you change apps and come back which the current highest rates app does do so even though this app could be a lot better its better than the best out there Way better than the current best
Im just gonna make this quick the only problems are they need a download all button a random comic button and a full version for 099 with no adds Awesome
This is one of the lowest rated xkcd apps but its really good Even xkcd viewer isnt as great This app has the feature to change the comic without having to go into the list Sadly ads crashing having to download the apps and sloppy zooming ruins a lot However I reccomend this app over most others Really awesome
This is a great app Id just like it to appear on my newsstand and show me how many unread cartoons I have I like to read a few at a time Needs Newsstand
This worked better than the other two xkcd reader apps I tried XKCD reader
Thanks for the update It all works perfectly now This app is the best way view xkcd on iOS
Please add swipe navigation to this app Building software for touchscreen devices without allowing normal touchscreen navigation is akin requiring a joystick to enter text something I may have done on an Atari once These days we dont want to tap buttons or navigate menuswere accustomed to fluid gestures Feature Request
Basic functionality okay but the ad banner at the bottom is very annoying with changes every second Okay but
PLEASE let me pay to kill the ads Colorful crap at bottom distracts massively from the nature of the work greatest comic ever ads destroy feel
Clean and simple to use UI The only things I would like to see are a random comic button and a download all option I want all the comics available offline and downloading all 1000 manually would be a slight pain Pretty good
Nice but there needs to be a download all button and a shuffle like the main xkcd app Nice and rated 12 somehow
Not a bad app but it has room for improvement The app is simple to navigate but it would benefit from a random comic button Also the ad support is annoying as always Could use improvement
Barebones app with ads ads
Be aware that not all features in XKCD may be available in this app For instance animated GIFs dont I enjoy it
And I mean that Beast web comic evar
Shows the comic and the alt text I wish you could swipe between comics but everything else is phenomenal Perfectly simple
Tsia It actually works The others stopped after lakes
A great app for a great comic I would give five stars however it automatically saves all comics read a plus and a minus It is also missing a random comic feature If you throw in the random comic feature it would be a five star app Great but
Very basic very easy to use Has scroll over text
For real Its just displaying webpages other than that its pretty decent Ads
Very well put together application that unlike most xkcd apps allows you to see the alt text of the image and works beautifully on the iPad I just wish that they had Gesture support for swiping left to see the previous comic and swiping right to see the next comic It would also be cool if it remembered the last comic you saw and started from there Push notifications when a new comic comes out would also be awesome xkcd at its finest on the iPad
srsly ads in a webapp adware
This app used to work but now it has stopped displaying comics No Longer Displays Comics
App is poorly made the content is really bad The only thing you can understand is all the language thats In every other word 0 STARS Bad
Full featured fast easy supports alttext but supported by ads Full featured but ads
It basically works OK but forces you to use little buttons when swipes should work Tap anywhere on a comic to go to a comment why not just do the same to return instead of having to find the DONE button And the archive of great comics why not swipe to move forward and back rather than tiny buttons way up northwest At least make the buttons BIGGER please Its not like space is at a premium here Dumb app for such a smart comic
My iPad crashed hard enough to require a full reset recently I lost a lot of apps that are now iOS6 This app would be swell I guess if I hadnt experienced the old one Resistance to change I suppose Theres a comic that addresses that very phenomenon but I cant find it anymore Love skid just love it Update 2015every time I despair of the future of the human race I come here and then I dontfeelsobad Ok I guess
I like the simplicity of the app Load it up see the newest comic tap the comic to see the alt text You can go back to previous comics and it also has a list of comics Biggest criticism of the app is that when the comic happens to be large the app only allows zooming to a certain extent which often is not enough to be able to see the details of the comic Perhaps an update to correct this Good but not great
