If you are iPhone and iPad owner,you now can download xkcd HD for free from Apple Store. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new xkcd HD app version 2.3.12 has been updated on 2014-11-19. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. This is a good reader for xkcd You can search view alt text zoom in on or save like photos The only feature I wish it had was a randomized feature I get a daily random comic notification but would like to have a randomizer feature on demand                 Good Hi_bear

The controls used to be perfect a long time ago Tap to hide status menu action bars Pinch to zoom easily Or double tap to zoom is great too I can t remember for positive exactly which actions did what But some time ago they changed the controls in a supremely annoying way Now you can t hide the status menu action bars And merely touching the screen will show the alt text It doesn t even wait for the release half of a tap or try to detect what kind of gesture you are trying to make If you try to zoom or just touch the screen at all bam Alt text covering the entire comic It is incredibly annoying to try to zoom and the menu status action bars waste screen real estate when I want to hide them Choose a different XKCD viewer until this is fixed there are plenty     Controls are terrible frostyiron

Love this app I prefer it to using the website it has a lot of subtle little details that make using it a joy For example I love that I can tap and hold to quickly view the alt text or tap the info button to keep it up So great Toggling through zoom levels via double tapping is really nice too I use it on both my iPad and iPhone                     Better than the website QWERTYthon

I have loved XKCD for years I was really happy to find this app The only feature I would ask for would be a way to bookmark a cartoon so I could just jump back to where I stopped reading Other than that I appreciate that it is always updated with the most current drawings I don t mind the press and hold to pull up the title of the drawing I discovered that if I need to stretch a drawing to make it larger to read the big or long ones if I use two fingers to move it around it doesn t snap back to the compressed size Using two fingers makes it very easy to move the drawing around and stretch or shrink it as needed depending on the level of detail I want                 Great app that needs a book mark feature Thom_D

Love this app been using it for years A few months back the interface changed and it has become very difficult to use It use to be that you tap the screen to get the comic alt text but now holding the screen makes it appear as well This causes problems if you zoom in and are trying to scroll across a large comic of text The act of dragging your finger to scroll will often cause the alt text to appear             Great app But update causes problems MrBobDobolina

I ve been using this app for years It doesn t update me with new comics very reliably but that s fine What really starting bugging me was today s update Trying to read the comic zoomed in because most are impossible to read any other way is really difficult now that tapping and holding the screen makes the alt text appear It s constantly zooming out and jumping around This would be a total deal breaker but there aren t many options for XKCD readers Please fix this             Just got fidgety conlaff

Awesome reader really enjoy its simplicity Problem is i don t read xkcd regularly and would like to be able to select a particular one but have to scroll endlessly through xkcd awesomeness It would be really helpful if there was a slide out sidebar that had a list of comics so one could select from there Also a start from where you left off option would be great too                 Index LogoBroyo
