The XnSketch is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is supporting different languages: English, Chinese, French, Japanese. It weighs in at only 5.7 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.00 has been released on 2014-11-25. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Any app that doesn t include control for horizontal GUI is just poor development         No support for IPad Dark Horse (NB)

This is the best app out there for sketches and comic effects And they keep updating and making improvements                     It s The Best 16violets

Some nice quick filters Lack of landscape makes this app less likely that I ll use it on my iPad I usually delete apps that only offer portrait orientation it can t be that difficult to include landscape I ll keep this app for a while out on the fringe with my other less used editing apps         Okay Fogenbaugh

Update 073015 the latest update has fixed the original resolution issue You can tell by the dates of theses updates that this developer is really working hard and most of all listens to his customers All of this developer s app are top notch and are worth a try Update 072415 the developer has responded that a fix for the resolution issue is coming I hope so because this is one of the best sketching apps in the store and all of this developer s Xn apps are best in class Update 072315 Formerly XnSketch I like the old name better this latest version has lowered the output resolution to 4mp from full original resolution There is also a bug in the code because tap pining Normal on the save screen produces the 4mp image and tapping High produces a 1 6mp image I have contacted the developer about these issues we ll see what they say Fortunately I have the last version of XnSketch backed up so I can reinstall it to the iPadAir if the Dev doesn t see the need to fix the issues I just hope the Dev doesn t try to do us all a favor and update the XnView and XnRetro apps with this same resolution limiting code Update Cropping a and resolution issues have been fixed Now correctly saves to full resolution of image Sweet The app is well done and produces very pleasing results All presets can be easily customized The presets are a great starting point most need no additional adjustments Original Review My only complaint is the saved resolution options don t make sense and Orignal Size doesn t deliver what it is supposed to in fact it is less than a lower setting First the app crops the imported image to almost a square but many of the resolution choices are rectangular And don t deliver the resolution that is stated I started with a 12mp image and with an Original Size setting for saving I get an almost square 1 6mp image Using the Match 2048x1536 setting I get 2 5mp image This is not a deal killer given the type of app just confusing                     Disappointing update Techno-nut
