This App is a great way to discover, enjoy, be amazed by and learn about wildflowers in Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park and the Western United States. As a tribute to Richard J and ...
The application is really cool If you like hiking in Yellowstone this is a great apptool to have on your phone See a flower quickly look it up by color                 Great wild flower application
Lovely app Easy to use                 Great App Makes hiking even more enjoyable
This is a great ap for those if us who need an intuitive and easy to follow guide to identifying flowers Everything is right there with ample photos to verify my guesses great work                 easy to use
Very easy to use and want assure all that this app has a much broader geographic range than just Yellowstone and grand Teton I know someone using it clear in Washington and certainly good for all in the rocky mountain region                 Wonderful app
This was recommended at a native plant class as a great native wildflower app for Yellowstone Grand Teton but after opening it and seeing the array of nonnative invasive species listed as wildflowers I cant say I would recommend this to anyone without some major edits being made so that it is clear to the user these are NOT native and in fact are invasive Many of the species that are invasive to the Greater Yellowstone Area and listed as noxious in all surrounding states dont even have any info indicating that they are NOT wildflowers but in fact detrimental to the Region Here are a few species that need some kind of Alert at the very top to indicate they are NOT wildflowers Common St Johnswort Common Tansy Butter And Eggs Dalmatian toadflax Spotted knapweed Canada thistle There are probably more within the app but frankly I was too disgusted to keep looking through it after viewing these species when I first opened it Its too bad because this has the potential to be a really great resource for native wildflowers but without some sort of fix to make sure they arent misleading the public into thinking that invasive species are wildflowers then this app is a huge fail     Invasive Species
This is one of the best and most userfriendly wildflower applications around The organization scientific data and photographs are excellent and taken directly from the many books written by Dr Richard J Shaw Professor of Botany and Director of the Intermountain Herbarium at Utah State University Starting in 1950 Dr Shaw was a seasonal park naturalist at Grand Teton National Park and all the photos in this application are part of the thousands of images Shaw and his wife Marion took on their botanical collecting tours throughout the American West Many of the wildflowers contained within can be found throughout the American West so this application has a much broader appeal to both botanists and general users                 Access to western wildflowers has never been easier
