I like YemuZip Easy to use and makes good Windows zipped files without the weird archives I ve zipped some HUGE files It can be a bit slow when you do that but for the price who cares I know some people mentioned it would be nice to add files from several different places I get it but that s not an issue for me                     Good little program Worth the 5 Witchydonna

I downloaded the free version of this app and was very happy with it But it only allowed me to zip 6 8 files before I had to close out the app entirely and reopen it in order to zip more fiels So I paid for the the app thinking it would allow me to zip endless files without having to close it out and reopen it to continue zipping This is not the case I spent money on something that I got for free and it still does the same thing Dissappointed and frustrated     Disappointed dmc366

I tried some other apps Should have just dropped the 4 99 to start with Great little tool The zip files are free of the hidden noise that trips up PC users It would be great if you could build up an archive from several different locations but it s not terrible to build up a folder of what you are including in the zip then drag and drop The resulting zip is clean and about the same size that the native MacOS compression creates at least as far as my particular archive is concerned                 Perfect for PC friendly zip creation DNAguy

I bought this utility to unzip Winzip files created on my PC on my MAC Unfortunately they don t tell you that you can t use this utility to unzip files that you protected by encrypting with a password I suspect the utility works fine otherwise but at least the developer could state the limitations of the software So if you have encrypted your zip files good idea then don t use this utility Get the real McCoy and buy Winzip     Won Brodr58

There are a lot of other programs out there that will smash your files down to a microdot if you want This isn t one of them It does what it says it does it will allow you to put a bunch of files into a single file My professor wants all of our Objective C code programs in a single file instead of 8 or 9 separate ones Drag and drop quick and dirty No futzin around with a lot of compression schemes and options As I said there are other programs out there that will let you tweak to your heart s content but you cannot get any better than this app for creating archives Better still use this app for creating your archive and then use Stuffit Deluxe to smash it to any size you want                     For what I need it s perfect tallcow354

This app does not at all do what it promises I would expect a decent zip application to make the resulting zip file smaller than the source file This program does not achieve this the zip file is exactly the same as the source file even when PC mode is chosen i e the specific Mac OS files are removed Don t buy this program if you re looking for something to help you compress your files so as you can share them via email etc with other people as it simply does not compress anything     I want my money back HawkmanCH

I am so glad that I came across this app Too many clients Windows users were asking me what the MACOSX directory was doing in all my zip files This removes that issue and does a better job compressing and archiving files Well worth the minimal investment                     Flawless Does much more than the zip app that comes with Lion wildscribe

As a daily user of YellowMug s great EasyCrop app a massive timesaver I m delighted to have the chance to rave about YemuZip Recently I had to zip over 80 humongous files between 1GB and 2GB The built in zip compression utility is good but it s slow and it eats system memory So I fired up the free version of YemuZip which I ve used with good results in the past It did such a superb job that I came here and bought the paid version of YemuZip on purpose just for the pure selfish pleasure of giving YellowMug my upport Oh and I should mention that YemuZip is very conservative in the amount of system memory it renders inactive after compressing a bunch of files I m using it now to zip another bunch of those big files Thanks YellowMug for writing great apps                     Dynamite Little App The Native Alien

I been using YumiZip YemiZip whats that Zip app called again Ahhhhhh YemuZip This tool has been my secret to deliverying assets with no duplicate temp files for many many years But I could NOT find this great app on the AppStore when i searched ZIP only because i could not recall the name I was forced to search on google                     No Cluttering Temp Files MACOSX oye presidente
