This book is geared towards the older set I gifted it to my parents and they loved it My children enjoy it too but the humor is especially relevant to anyone that has gone through a battery of tests at the hospital in fact Ive read that Dr Seuss was inspired to write this after such an experience in his later years This book is for true Seuss fans of which I am one my favorite Seuss book

This book is literally not for children The concepts and vocabulary are not comprehensible or enjoyable to children I wish I hadnt purchased it It seems like a cute book to put in a nursing home not a nursery I really mean that It is kind of a cute book but not for children Not for children
I love this book I have always loved this book And it gives you hope at the end its a really funny book about going to the doctor and all those stupid stuff you have to go thru and then remembering that youre pretty good well okay for the shape your in Younger children might like it if you could read it in rhythm but older children wont understand the humor This book is awesome
By far the best Dr Seuss book Ive read Language is fluid observation on modern medical system is sharp and hilarious Sounds crazy but it worksand my kid likes it as much or more than traditional favorites Jack Even my 3 year old autistic boy loves this book
This is a wonderful book but be aware that Geisel wrote it for adults Even so my five yearold son loves it and he wants to read it every night As others have noted the story is not childlike but the storyline and verse are outstanding Written for Adults
