This app saves me time and who doesnt need that An additional boon is that my students want to know right away how they did on their quizzes automatic feedback I do wish there were two additional functions in the paid version Id like to see an automatic class average for each quiz and the ability to rearrange sort the results alphabetically for easy input into the grade book Right now it seems the only benefit a paid subscriber gets is the ability to create more quizzes so adding these features would really make the purchase worth the              Very handy

I think this is a great product Teachers and students find the app fascinating I would want to make the user interface more user friendly however the app is pretty good              Good idea user interface could be updated

I dont review many apps but this one actually adds value to my time This is like having a Scantron in my coat pocket but with answer sheets I can print myself The learning curve is very fast the app is simple to use and it is accurate Im able to get a lot of grading done in minimal time I subscribed for the unlimited scans for a year and I think its a bargain This actually makes my life easier and I love it                 A Teachers Dream

I have been looking for a way to grade bubble sheet assessments in front of my students for the past 20 years of my teaching career Students getting instant feedback on their assignments allows students to know how they are progressing and also makes them want to know which questions they answered incorrectly This app more than fits this need It is easy to set up and use Cloud support is great also being able to email send to Dropbox helps in keeping back ups I initially had a few questions and they were answered in great detail within a few hours                 A great app

I use this for every quiz and test I give Cant live without it Could you add an option in the settings menu to allow user to choose to have the score rounded up when viewing the review papers page Currently it displays the grades as 915 or 842 And I would like to have the option to have the score rounded up or down to the next whole number accordingly                 Love this app Life changing

I am very tech savvy but was super frustrated at blackboards bugs and unnecessary complexities particularly as a platform for providing accurate and quick to grade exams Many student now use tablets smart phones to access Their class materials but blackboard has been hideously incompatible with most devices that are not fullblown PCs making it pretty useless for 65 of my young students for example to post blogs or discussions and more importantly to me to take digitalexams which self grade BB CRASHED so much when students took online quizzes even from a regular PC OR MAC that I was forced to look for a more viable alternative that would not place me back at square1 aka the stone age the old antiquated standard scantrons yuck Thank goodness I found this Ive tested it extensively will be giving a full blown quiz in college to 100 students next week I am not nervous as the process is failproof I love that I have their hard copies as my backup but the grading I did was fast and accurate I even tried to whiteout a few answers to see if It would trip up but it still worked scanned perfectly I also hated making students buy scantrons would purchase them myself to help offset this expense prices are shameless so Ill be saving myself a LOT of cash printing out the bubble sheets My only wishs is that I could upload to my blackboard grebe ok easily but that is a small issue which unfortunately blackboard controls My other wish is that I could fit two bubble sheets onto one 85 x11page just to save paper but maybe Ill try the lamination idea I saw postedthat process does not seem ideal for me though as I prefer never to erase any students work until 6 months later These are very small issue though and I HIGHLY recommend this app for ANY busy teacher Great job Look forward to the next version                 Fantastically simple app makes testing easier and faster

Really Charging for scans even for a trial I hate having to spend money before I know if the app is going to work for me The app looks good but I cant tell its value without a decent test     Fees to try

This app has saved my life Im not allowed to sit and grade papers while students are in the room However as a student finishes a test I can scan their answer sheet in an instant the student circles the numbers of the problems of the missed questions and begins making corrections immediately so that no instructional time is missed Most tests are graded by the end of each class so I dont have to carry stacks of tests home or stay late grading papers and my students receive immediate feedback which is proven to help them Customer service has been wonderful Zipgrade has responded quickly to my email All solutions to my problems are answered so clearly that makes everything so easy even when I get technologically stuck The thing I love the most is that Zipgrade really scares about helping teachers They are constantly improving to meet our needs They love our honest feedback so that they can improve the app we already bought to keep making us more efficient Thank you Zipgrade for helping me get back more family time                 Awesome Teacher App

I corrected 30 tests in under a minute This is the best grader out there Very basic but SO easy and almost universal Ive taught for 10 years and I highly recommend it                 Love it

Great TimeSaver Except for Highly Problematic Database Management This is a great time saver for grading student multiple choice exams once you make the initial investment in entering individual student information although data entry could use improvement more on that later I also like the analytics of seeing what percentage of students chose a given answer whether correct or incorrect When scanning ZipGrades answer sheets with the iPad Id actually like an option to manually activate the scan rather than it automatically take a photo once the corner markings on the answer sheet have properly been aligned with the iPads camera Otherwise sometimes the resultant snapshot of a given student quiz comes out a little blurry The one big thing that needs to be improved is the data entry and database management Currently the only way to assign a student to a quiz is on an individual basis EACH TIME you make a new quiz even after you have already entered the student into the database There is no way to assign an entire class at once to a specific quiz That is an absurd oversight and a waste of time Furthermore the database of student information you enter becomes unwieldy if you teach more than one class because it is basically unsortable except by last namefor ALL your students in one big growing list It is NOT SORTABLE by first name ZipGrade ID External ID your schools ID system class or quiza baffling oversight considering all this data is asked for when entering student information Regarding the answer sheets my students have ID numbers 9digits long which I would like to use but cant due to the answer sheets ZipGrade ID limitation of 5 digits Im forced to use the last 5 digits of my students ID numbers but that creates overlap among students with similar numbers The last thing I think the subscription model is a bit pricey and not very useful for any college level educators like myself who will only probably use this app only for midterms and finals although K12 may get more mileage depending on the curriculum Until the above are addressed this app only gets a 2 out of 5 stars from me A good start but miles to go        Time Saver Except In Database Management

I started using this app halfway through the school year Dramatically decreased the time I spend grading and increased my students connection to assessments The only features I was missing were the ability to weight questions differently and the ability to tag questions with specific benchmarks The newest update added both Amazing app priced appropriately and immediately implementable in the classroom Great job From Middle school teacher                 5stars after update

A friend recommended it and with the free trial I figured why not give it a try Im eternally grateful I have over 100 students a semester and this cut grading down to a fraction of the time and it stores their answer sheets so when I give it back I still have a record Amazing                 Worth Every Penny

Ok I was one of the lucky ones to get unlimited for 199 but I would still get this app even if I didnt The latest update was awesome with the marking of wrong answers on the scan I have students correct their mistakes and I can not message or email the image to them Cant go wrong buying this app It has saved me hours grading and analyzing questions                 Awesome App

Once one teacher in a school discovers this app all the teachers in the school will be using it It is great to be able to put the bubbles on the same piece of paper as your quiz only one piece of paper to hand back instead of two The price of the app is less than the cost of the Scantron forms you would need to give just one or two quizzes                 Goodbye Scantron
