This review was first posted on my blog Im reposting it here First off its called my万歩計 pedometer found on iTunes here It is not made by some corporate company I do not think I did not even find a website The first version was Japanese only but the updated version includes support for English whew and Chinese I am guessing the developer is Japanese as the English is not the best It is okay they did a good job of getting the point across It has only two reviews right now with a pretty good rating Now on the review part When its shown on the iPhone background it is in Japanese so I cant easily tell people the name of the app When I first clicked on it it was all in Japanese I had to press a couple buttons to figure out where and how to change the language Hint Tap the far right icon the Settings and then click USA It changes to English My tip would be when someone starts the app for the first time have a screen with all the supported languages and let the user choose instantly what language they would likeWay easier The screen is simple and easy to understand There is a default background which you can change but as soon as you click out it goes back to the default There is a GO button RESET button Kcal Time Steps Change Image Save History and Setting buttons They are pretty self explanatory for the most part Under Settings you can choose the preferred language run or walk height weight and sensitivity My tip for this section would be to let people namely us Americans enter their height and weight in inches and pounds respectively I have no clue how tall I am in centimeters and how much I weigh in kilograms Also you must enter this information before you are allowed to use the pedometer You can view your history on here but my suggestion would be to let me email myself the history or some people might prefer to share the stats via Twitter or Facebook One big annoyance was if I closed out of the app my walkrun I was on gets deleted I did not know this and deleted a walk Please let me close out and either autosave or let me continue the walkrun It would be nice if I could close out and have it still run in the background but I wont be greedy If anyone wants to listen to music while using this start the music first then start this app You can fast forwardpause the music by doubletapping the Home button If you want to choose a certain song then you will have to save your walk close out change music and begin a walkrun anew All in all right now I give this app a 35 stars It works very well and did not crash or give me trouble What might bump it into the 4 and above range is to implement a bit more for the user Some people might be happy with the current version but I would like the developer to dig a little deeper and give me something more powerful What good is my history and statistics if it is contained in the app and unable to be freed           kiddblue review
