Bought the program for 10 expensive compared to most apps Installed it on Ipad 2 Was fairly easy but it will drop the connection after 5 to 10 minutes iOS 8 for no obvious reason every time So its pretty useless Havent found any support yet     Connection drops poor support

I bought their original combo pack with air display 2 It never worked on windows computer If it is not going to work for windows dont give some partial list of compatible pcs just say Mac only I am fine with that As you can tell I have held off in reviewing this software package for a while something just seemed off My suspicions where correct when I receive an email that tells me I can upgrade my app for 1400 That is more than I paid for the entire suite before I do not feel this is good business I realize the new app has some new features but seriously that is a lot of cheese for one app that still doesnt look like it works with windows     No chance

Would like a refund very poor performance on win 7 ultimate x64 with an iPad 3rd generation No problems with connection and setup     Disappointing performance on Windows 7

For 999 this product should perform flawless I would be disappointed if I spent 199 Tech support is non existent and FAQ covers only very simple issues     Does not work well

Very disappointed with the lag introduced when using this app My early 2013 rmbp slowed down dramatically once connecting my iPad Completely unusable for anyone doing creative work Honestly the recent 45 star reviews below sound like fakeconstructed reviews made by the developers     Not useable

Ive been using this product for about 5 months now and now cant live without it It has increased my productivity and provides functionality when I am on the go Stable reliable and just awesome                 Love this App

Cool app that works pretty well great for travelers who need two screens My problem is I run Parallels and Microsoft Outlook on my MBP and in coherence mode it doesnt work Furthermore when you arent using the App it still messes with the functionality of Parallels I had to uninstall and now spent 10 for an app I cant use Irritated to say the least I would either like my money back but would be equally happy with an app that worked without screwing up my computer A heads up would have been good of them        Cool App but DOES NOT WORK WITH PARALLELS

Got this to use with a mid 2007 Mac mini and iPad 2nd generation I am using it as the only screen and it works perfectly The app will automatically connect once opened Now I dont have to connect my laptop to my audio stand all the time for Spotify and stored music The mini is far cheaper than any quality media streamerserver AND this way I get a wireless screen Im not sure if all the bad reviews are with nvidia cards or people that dont realize this works only over a local wifi network I have the Intel video card 183ghz and 2gb of ram and it worked right from the beginning with no problems In my research here are the minimums so you can have all the required software Intel core 2 duo 2gb ram OS X Lion iOS 7                 Works Perfectly

Pc drivers failed to install 3 times in a row     Doesnt work

1000 to mess up my PC with an Nvidia graphics card I dont think so It really messed up my comp dont go for this This shouldnt even be allowed in the App Store     Dont Buy this

Took me a few tries to get it to work but how it works that is pretty self explanatory Other than that the response time is a bit slow Overall its not too bad Its just a little disappointing considering we had to pay 10 for it           Not bad

Tried to use this app to mirror a pic screen on iPad 3 Doesnt work tried multiple pic hosts Can sometimes see the backgrounds but no updates     Doesnt Work

I bought AirDisplay when it first came out and loved it Then Apple updated iOS and it broke I bought the upgrade since no free upgrade was offered It worked until Apple upgraded MacOS then it broke again I was able to download the Mac part for free and once again it worked Now I upgraded my iPad to iOS 9 and AirDisplay broke again Now I have to buy another copy no no discounted or free update to make it work again ENOUGH ALREADY I rely on your software but even Microsoft and Adobe offer upgrade discounts I also dont think that I should have to buy a new copy every time theres an operating system change How about offering your licensees a free or discounted update path Now Im switching to a USB monitor in lieu of paying for another update        Why no upgrade pricing

The first app that has compelled me to write a review Absolute waste of money tried everything to install including instructions online YouTube video of this app and installation makes it looks simple to install but dont let it fool you Waste of 15     Wasted money

This app is a complete waste of money First you have to disable your antivirus firewall for it to work Then it sets your iPad as the main monitor and screws up the display settings on the computer It is also very laggy and bad quality once it finally does work and it also stops working after a while The uninstaller does not work at all If I managed the App Store I would take this off of the store and ban the owner of it     Stealing your money 0 stars if I could

First we buy Air Display 3 only to find they wont let you use Windows with that newest 15 version We waste the time getting a refund and go backwards to buy version 2 Soon as we launch the windows server and the iPad app blue screen of death AND it corrupts our normal display driver You are risking your windows PC installing this on your machine     Killed my PC

Review below was premature Seems that the problem may have been wireless network interference that had nothing to do with app Later in day app worked as it should Great app guys I use it all the time Very slow performance and screen flickering after 324 update I basically cannot use AirDisplay now because I end up with mouse trails and all sorts of artifacts I tried all kinds of troubleshooting including running system restore on my Windows computer to roll the OS back prior to a Windows update that was also installed this morning but nothing fixed the AD problem I then checked to see if AD was updated and sure enough it was Worked perfectly yesterday but today its crap Avatron if this is some gimmick to convince users that they need an upgrade to AD 3 please consider those of us who have Windows machines and cannot yet use AD 3 because it is not Windows compatible If the performance of AD3 is better I will get it on my own when you have a Windowscompatible driver There is no need to throttle down the performance of the only version I can currently use Please fix              UPDATED Latest Update didnt break the App

This app works great Got it set up in just a few minutes and works perfectly for displaying and using my flight simulators Flight Management Computer FMC and even works with PMDG No lag noticed that I see others posting about Only problem is that if the iPad goes to sleep mode and you wake it back up every time you press the button its like a double click              Great for flight sim

I installed this fully expecting to have wasted my money BUT it works great Configured on my iPad Air 2 and MacBook Pro 15 it didnt work when I first installed it BUT I turned off the firewall on my MacBook Pro and it worked perfectly and effortlessly I use a wificable modem Now I am NOT going to spend 1000 on a Wacom Cintiq It takes some getting used to keep in mind an iPad is not the same size as your computer screen so it is scaled and yes there is a slight lag but I can work with that Im already using it with Corel Painter 2015 and really diggin it                 Great

What a shame of a product It costs 10 so you would expect thats how they make their money rigth So why do they need to make me download the desktop software through a weird system in which they email me the link then they change all my browser settings without my authorization then install what looks like phishing software on my computer To top it all off the program makes my computer so slow that its pretty much unusable I asked for a refund and I will definitely recommend people to look for an alternative to this joke of a product Now for what I REALLY think lol     Horrible horrible product

I have a MacBook Air 2014 13 4GB RAM running Yosemite an iPad Air 1st one and another dell monitor I had only my computer and the dell and was looking to add a third display but not spend too much and not have to buy a multi thunderbolt port accessory I found this app and its amazing Really relieves some of the stress of not having a big enough screen as a student when typing papers and needing multi windows Thank the lord for this app                 Great app

I had to format and reinstall Windows 7 because of this app It appears that Air Display for Windows is causing trouble with the display driver of my Windows However the uninstaller does not work I was not able to remove Air Display for Windows Really frustrating     Dont buy this if you are considering to use this app for Windows

This app does not work in the slightest for me My computer finds my iPad Air but whenever I try to connect it is unable to I enter the IP address and other than one brief moment where it looked like it was about to connect it dropped it I have tried on several different wifi networks Terrible     Refund Please

I travel extensively and often need a second monitor to connect to my laptop Since I travel with my iPad gen 3 having the option to connect it as a 2nd monitor is wonderful I often need to have one document displayed for reference while working on another This app fills that need Be sure to have it plugged in to power so the screen doesnt go to sleep The lag can be a little annoying but was acceptable for what I needed If there was a USB tethering option that eliminated most of the lag I would give 5 stars           Works for semistatic screen

I think 2 stars is not accurate and would suggest trying this app I have it installed on Yosemite and windows 81 and it suits its purpose OS X runs very well and windows not as good as OS X but functional without question It is a LOT cheaper and more convenient than buying 2 monitors and considering it is using an iPad outside of the normal use of iPad it is a nice purchase for 10              Solid for its intent

I have a MacBook Pro iPad 2 iPad mini 3 and iPhone and it works amazing It does have a small lag and would not recommend watching movies on the external screen When you download the software for your computer it says that it only works for Apple products At least thats what I saw so I think the other reviews do this app justice because its made for Apple products This is worth the money and I love mine so far                 Mac Only

I really like the flexibility of the second screen I am using for school work so I can research on one screen and write on the other I love it The lag isnt horrible but it is evident I can live with it I am looking forward to future updates that improve this              Works Great

Ive been content with this application for a long time I use my iPad Mini first generation as an ad hoc external monitor for my Macbook Air mid2013 Today 20150317 there was an update for the free server app on the Mac which they said would substantially increase the frame rate and they are right my Wifi connected iPad as an external display now feels as fast as my internal display Im not playing movies or games just using the finder and now it works perfectly via Wifi Good stuff                 Wifi sharing refresh rate is fast now

Every time I used it the wifi lag was so slow that I would actually be less productive and waste time trying to fix it I would recommend downloading Duet You can use your device as a second screen but you connect with a cord so theres no lag     It works but lags too much to be useful

The lag just kills the experience You cant do this over wifi its gotta be wired Would like a refund     Doesnt work good enough to really help

There are problems inherent in this solution primarily due to the unreliability of wifi networks I found a better solution that allows my iPad to be attached using a USB cable        Nice Try

Recently purchased this program to be able to use my iPad as an additional screen on my desk I love how uncluttered my desk is now The only thing I need is my laptop and iPad no wires needed The interaction has a bit of a lag but I mainly use it to extend my screen space so this doesnt bother me too much I like the fact that I can use my I pad to mirror my laptop and as long as I am on the same network I can have access to everything on my laptop I would give it a 5 for my purposes but it could be easier to connect and the lag would be bothersome for some people Great app though to add a screen without any clutter              Great Product

This app draws too much performance from your computer making it nearly useless Its incredibly laggy and slow If you are using it with multiple programs internet surfing word iphoto etc it will make the computer incredibly slow I bought it so i could do research while using Microsoft Word and Powerpoint I wanted to use the keyboard on my Mac for both screens instead of having to type on my ipad but its just so laggy It makes it incredibly frustrating I ended up just going back to using them separately For the price its just not worth it     Slow and laggy

omg i love this app so much It helped me animate A LOT The customer support was amazing and now its so much easier to do work and animations Heck quality will improve on all my work now THIS APP IS AMAZING                 BUY this app NOW

Avatron has a couple pieces of software with some really nifty ideas But thanks to the delay in communicating over wifi Air Display is barely useable at best Ive tried a couple times in the year or so since I bought it and never used it for more than a half hour before getting frustrated Even on the best local wifi theres a significant lag in normal use Additionally the only resolution options are either Retina which looks nice but is nearly unreadable or 1024x768 and super blurry Neither is particularly enjoyable Keep hoping they get it together one day but with Duet out and supporting USB Air Display may be dead in the water        It technically works but its not useful

This should be consider as a Scam Is the second time this company rip me off And this is the worst I write them requesting for advice regarding the version two an if I can get a discount for the upgrade and they just reply that they cant do anything and is apple fault base on the way the store is implemented So I take my chance and by the software full price for 2nd time Now a month and a week there is a new version and the same thing no upgrade no refund and the only thing they offer is a bundle for products I dont need Stay away from this company     Worse Upgrade Policy
