As always when loading Apps that use WiFi I expected the worst but I was very pleasantly surprised when this App worked perfectly from the start I didnt actually have any Albums set up in iPhoto so since I couldnt see anything from the iPad after installing the server I set some up and immediately they became visible on the iPad Great job                 Great job

Whats good about this app Very simple easy to use Installing the server on the desktop app takes about 10 seconds and it takes even less than that to get connected from the iPad Reliable no problems with crashing Whats missing You can only view albums not events I never use albums to organize my pictures so now I need to make an album for every event to view it in AirPics Everything is readonly At minimum Id really like to be able to assign ratings to pictures Ideally Id be able to delete pictures and enter titles and descriptions Zoom is very limited Im viewing 22 megapixel images but I can only zoom in about 20 from the size that they appear on the iPad screen Id like to be able to zoom in close to see details in the photos I understand that it takes longer to download a high resolution file but I dont mind waiting for a few seconds if thats what it takes With these limitations it really makes more sense to view the pictures on my laptop where I can rate them as I flip through them           Good but not great

The app makes viewing of pictures from your iPhoto library fairly easy However some features that would make it worth the 299 is if they 1 Let you save pictures locally without having to email them to yourself and then save 2 If they support AirPlay so you could turn around and then show these pictures on a tv connected to an AirPlay capable device The performance of this could depend on the home wifi but itd be a very nice to have option to have But overall its a app worth getting if you arent using iCloud heavily           Good but could be great if

Thank you for developing this app It is exactly what Ive been looking for For some reason apple refuses to incorporate this feature into their own ipad photo apps I gave it 4 stars because not all of the photos load              Exactly what Ive been looking for

All I can get this app to do is crash After several tries one of my libraries finally came up and after scrolling down for several minutes 10000 photos to the photos I wanted to view AirPics quit After restart IF the library starts loading I again have to scroll from the top To make matters worse the photo previews load as you scroll so theres no way to do a fast scroll either On a side note I wish there was a fair way to get a refund from Apple Ive tried in the past and have always been either denied or referred to the developer     Needs a lot of work

I bought this app so I can browse my iPhoto library from my iPad Basically it delivers it gives a list of albums then a tiled display of the pictures in an album Click on a picture and you see it on your iPad You can scroll through your pictures like you were in the Photo app Over WiFi the app is really fast theres no lag at all The companion Mac application which talks to iPhoto is small fast and unobtrusive Overall AirPics is a great solution to the vexing problem of how do I see my whole iPhoto library on my iPad Suggestion rating pictures from the app That would make it a great way to filtercategorize pictures as well                 Great for browsing your iPhoto library

I just got done purchasing 3 iPhoto sharing apps until I got to this one They were all ok But all relied on uploading to the cloud in some manner I have thousands of pictures and couldnt see going through that type of process This app streams my iPhoto albums from my MacBook pro to my iPad The only setup is as advertised with a small server app loaded on my MacBook The rest was a one step process on the iPad and the pictures started streaming immediately Albums with 300 or so pictures started immediately and were fully streamed in a few seconds You do have to have your computer on and have the server program running but again as advertised This is the first review Ive ever writtenbut I was very relieved when it worked so well It didnt have a lot of reviews but Ill add one more Thanks                 Very nice

App was fine until I upgraded to Mavericks now the photo library is not found on my ipad Please fix     Not working with Mavericks
