I want the old AllMusic by Rovi app back This is useless to me I guess I will have to go elsewhere for music information AMG is not what it used to be     What a piece of junk

Whats the point of Allmusic without a search function You have the preeminent music databases on the internet a database is meant to be searched I could care less about the articles     No search

Cmon guys Ive been waiting forever and a day for your appand this is what you give us Whats the 1st thing a website user does when they get to your site Search for what theyre looking for of course How could you miss this feature in your app Im going to check back periodically Hopefully youll figure it out sooner rather than later Its not like this is a difficult feature to develop Get with it     Great website Awful App

I frequent Allmusic the website almost every day to check album and artist info the way I would for IMDb and while it was buggy and maybe a little ugly the app was a good extension of that for finding info on the go This new app is very slick but theyve removed the fundamental database function from this app There is no search and it may as well be another music website with a few random and recent reviews and articles and then when you want to find more info about a band or album it opens up a separate web browser rather than open it in app the way the old app did To me this new app is kind of useless unless they bring back the functionality that actually made it a site worth visiting in the first place You know youre a database website act like a database     No search

Agree with others No need for app without search function Plus youve made your website problematic with too many advertising graphics You are destroying youre website and identity And it was great The app and website simultaneously Are you trying to go out of business There are alternatives Delete until fixed     Worthless without search

used to be a great app set up like their website now search is inexplicably buried in your account profile worthless     utter garbage

I wanted to search an artist and look up their albums which is not possible in this version A huge let down     No search They limited themselves

This app does have a search function but its only accessible via the Account menu That is just one of many terrible design decisions the developer chose to implement        Heres how to access the search function

What is the point of an Allmusic app that denies users the ability to search Allmusic undoubtedly the best music resource in the world The old app used to be the best way to quickly access Allmusic Now the best way is to do a Google search for your album artist or song plus Allmusic since the site ranks poorly in search results for some reason Im really scratching my head here This is either the move of a company in a lot of trouble awful if true or a company that does not have any clue what its doing     Incompetence

I use Allmusic web to search for a given band or record Not having this feature on the app makes it kind of useless to me It seems really strange that this feature is missing though Isnt Allmusic first and foremost a giant music database     No search

Ive found out how to search Click the AllMusic icon in the upper left corner and click on Sign Up I have noooo clue why its there but thats where it is              Search Capabilities

Too limited without search Portrait view only is another limitation Great site but Ill stick to accessing the site through Safari     No search or landscape view

Yes a slick searchable AllMusic app would be wonderful but the site is a behemoth and it has proved a tedious task Their mobile website is as good as it can be for now and it is quite good but this app is something much simpler with a different approach It allows you quick convenient access to all the latest albums that have been reviewed by our trusty entourage of adept writers at AM The design looks fabulous and the layout is wellorganized I use this app regularly as a means of reminding me of recent releases and turning me onto new artists AMs website is partly a massive database for every album under the sun but for me the real treasures are the reviews and this app provides me with a sleek interface to peruse them I adore it                 Poor Misunderstood App

I am a big fan of Allmusic and check their website for an expert review of an album Im interested in before buying it The app was a bonus because I was able to search for an album or artist With the new update I can no longer search for reviews by albumartist Im deleting this app until the search function is restored Removing ads would also be helpful     Where is the search option

Explain to me how you create an App for the largest database of music reviews and not include a search function     No Search Madness

I love AllMusics website Its filled with great reviews of amazing albumsnone of which can be accessed through this app I dont use AllMusic to discover whats hot I use it to read really good reviews of albums I love listening to or want to listen to but need to learn more about You literally cant do anything with this app unless you happen to be interested in looking at one of the limited albums that they offer reviews for The app offers no freedom and generally just doesnt do anything     This app is crap

Theres a real hole to be filled for a music reference app There had been a previous AMG app that was ok but it was discontinued for some reason It was serviceable but much better than trying to use AMGs site on a mobile device which is awful This app hung the first time I tried to use it then brought me to Words With FriendsIm guessing I accidentally clicked an ad then my entire phone froze Cmon     Missed opportunity

What the heck This app is just a bunch of random information Where is the search feature I am an all music guide addict and use it while listening to music and in record stores while browsing albums that I am unfamiliar with How can there not be search     No search still

Its a great site but its an aggravation to navigate though the minefield of crappy adds This app was designed to accidentally hit adds I would like to kick the designer in the nuts     Annoying

Allmusics website is full of great info But without being able to search there is a pretty limited function of the app The newest version also crashes every time I open a review It was a good app to quickly check reviews of some new albums Hopefully they are working on an update with a search option        No Search Crashes

You have the Wikipedia of music at your hands and your website is buggy and annoying because of what I would guess is some sort of misguided attempt at being commercial Please find a more creative way of making money instead of forcing users to view content that they dont want to see The potential of this app and website is so incredible but is ruined somewhere down the line Please realize its potential and integrity     No search Whats the point

Great mobile compliment to the full site including the my collection feature My biggest complaint is how obtrusive the ads are once you access the full site from within the app Literally every touch event results in an ad which is a detriment to user experience Other than that good show           Nice app but ads are out of control

I completely agree with the previous review I used to use this app daily Dont try to be something else Be a database Sell ads for it It was at least manageable before this layout Now its useless Delete     No longer allmusic

Its hard to fathom how many people must have signed off on this interface before it went live The amount of uselessness and lack of usability is frankly staggering This is worse than pitiful I have no words Id need a thesaurus to keep writing this review     Whos responsible for this

The original AllMusic app disappeared from the App Store and the version on my phone was incredibly buggy so I decided to try this Roundup app Without a SEARCH feature it is useless Please give us an app that accesses the full web site In the meantime I am deleting both AllMusic apps     Terrible

its basically a magazine that you cant search this would be nice if it were a feature within the old app but instead the old app is gone and now there is just this bring back the old app it was an excellent easy to use reference     horrible app

I I like this app but I wish when I found an album I would like to listen to it offered a link to my choice of music streaming services and took me to that with the album already loaded If it offers that I would upgrade my rating to a fivestar           Ok
