Archipad is a scale aware sketching program that is an ideal tool for Architects, interior and product designers. For a short movie please visit our support page. Use Archipad as you would use a tracing pad. Sketch, ...
Enjoy using it It does what I need The dimension for objects however when displayed in inches are really in fractions of feet This is in the square box at the top and the ruler It jumps from 99in to 1 ft Can ignore it once you know what is wrong             Problem with object dimension display Draw2Make
I ve downloaded and experimented with others SketchBook Arrette Procreate Concepts Morpholio Adobe and they all have excellent capabilities However Archisketch has a more complete assortment of the tools I need for landscape design drawing in one place than the others It is highly intuitive for a new user and the help screens linked to subject videos are the best instructional feature among all the apps I ve used 90 of all my questions as a new user have been anticipated by the developers in the help screens and linked videos The other 10 are thoughtfully addressed by tech support thank you Reza I may continue to export my drawings to other apps for special added effects but the more I dig into this app the more I discover it can do and the less I need to look elsewhere This review from a senior now transitioning to digital drawing after 35 years in the the world of paper pencil pens and brushes                     The Best dvdbrwn
Thank you for producing an app that gives designers a digital tool for creative exploration The app is simple enough to learn and produces great results for creative thinking It takes a sketchbook to a new level                     works well robin slicker901
I m an architect and use this app daily for building design presentations site planning site surveying What a great tool with a bright future Makes a great interactive and presentation tool when meeting with clients too                     fantastic badview121
This is a great digital sketchbook for me because I always need to capture my ideas and don t always have a pen Lots of options and tools to have any desired effect and layouts                     love it panchris661
This app is very useful and makes going paperless all that much easier It s strong for designer Very good for sketching new ideas over old ones I use this for everything and love sketching on top of photos                     cool xaranghe561
So easy to use and navigate Love the interface It seems to do everything else I m looking for It s not often I can say I m 100 happy with an app but this is an exception                     it s nice Hirsoshita1
Clear and minimal interface and interaction that allows you to think while tracing This is a great innovative app and exactly what I ve been looking for Love all of the features and can t wait to use often                     GREAT talang900471
Such an amazing app to have on my iPad Pro it fits all my needs as an engineer like me and I can t say enough about it It gives you the perfect digital art experience                     fantastic santaxfence451
I ve been using this for awhile now but the IOS11 upgrade killed this app iPad Pro just throws up a blank white screen very frustrating i liked this program And with the latest update all is working again thanks for getting after the bugs                 Won t Open Mike Personal
I have only used this program for free hand architectural drawings and I can say that it has freed me from paper and pencil The latest version has improved the overall performance and usability of the tools The developer is very responsive The video tutorials are extremely helpful and are usually sent in response to your inquiry from the developer                     Excellent software for free hand flysrv10
06 Oct 2017 I had given the un app purchased version a trial run on several simple floor plan drawings and found it to be exceedingly cumbersome to work with even with the years of experience I have The toolset and selection is at the bottom and not the top of the screen or better yet along the side You only see one tool at a time rather than having a pallet to select from Took me forever to figure out how to draw a simple straight line because it always tends to draw wiggly lines instead of point to point The ruler I found to be fairly useless since it disappears from the drawing when you select a drawing tool I found using this app to be maddening and have decided based on several days of use to not purchase the Pro version through the in app purchase at 9 99 Simply is not worth it at this point in the app s lifetime So I am giving up on it but will continue to watch the updates to see if there are any outstanding improvement to the UI and handling of drawings It really needs to be palette driven and not slider menu driven         Very very cumbersome and not very intuitive Universe Observer
Been using Archisketch for months with no problem on all versions of iOS10 but just upgraded to iOS11 on iPad Air 2 and I cant even get the program to open or list my files ugh     Won t even open in iOS11 Yoop635_45

I m writing this review right now after it just crashed a minute ago This app tends to crash a lot to the point that you learn to predict which actions will cause it to crash and take you to the iPad s home screen And when you re open you lose all unsaved work Also you can t export vector Meaning you can only use whatever image sizes the app thinks you d want to use A1 A6 I believe So if you have any super large file that you d like to keep zoomable you re out of luck what you get is a raster image that gets blurry when you zoom You can only export to raster formats save to photos email a PDF etc Don t be fooled about the PDF email export option when you open the PDF it s an image not vector Also there doesn t appear to be an eyedropper tool for picking colors from what s already on the screen If you use your Apple Pencil and touch the screen without tilt you get some weird color modifier thing but nothing to simply copy a color already on the screen Also if you use the measure markers and zoom out a lot maybe to pan around the entire document from a macro view the app changes the font sizes to be really big And then when you zoom back in those giant fonts don t size back down so they cover everything up and you have to go through this constant routine of tapping on the font size adjustment for the distance marker tool just to get the font sizes back to normal So to pan around the document the process annoyingly becomes zoom out font sizes get screwed up pan zoom in change font sizes back Oh and don t forget to occasionally save because zooming and panning tends to be one of the things that makes the app crash And you don t want to lose your progress Also I m kind of picky with this one but using the Apple Pencil the pencil tool in the app doesn t follow what I put down on the screen but it instead adjusts it with this super aggressive smoothing as I write often times making my handwriting illegible So a lowercase a becomes some weird scribble instead of what I had written Also switching between tools is annoying because I have to exit out of my current tool before selecting another tool Why not just keep all of those tools visible They do have this option to toggle a small tool menu that lets you switch between 3 tools pen shape eraser but often times I also want to use the measure tool or another tool that isn t one of those 3 so it s really not too helpful Especially when hiding all of the other tools simply leaves white space in that bottom toolbar I think it would be better if it just always show all the tool buttons so I don t have to exit out of my current tool in order to select another tool It s a very promising app however If it didn t have these issues it would be a five star app         crashes often and you lose unsaved work larryw09
I have high hopes for the creative aspects of the app but I found that the introduction of yet another interpretation of a UI and a lack of introductory documentation or some getting started videos on their website a bit frustrating In app Undo doesn t look like Undo Toolboxes look like another take on toolboxes Rotate and orbit don t look like you get the idea Now the positives I did find the help icon in the app and it does provide some good info So if I can decide within the 50 object trial period whether this tool would be a good addition to my toolbox then yes the US 9 99 is totally reasonable seriously You kids don t know what it was like in the dark days of software when we d spend 35 on shrink wrapped 3 5 floppy disk only to find out the app was complete rubbish Sure G S Up is free on the desktop but some of us are embracing the tablet world and SketchUp isn t on iOS So an app that can help visualize ideas or plan rearrange your garden or maybe design your dream house or even to sketch out imaginary star ships seems worth the cost of two lattes                 A Bit Confusing Esther Mofet
This app works great on my new iPad Pro with my Apple Pencil and makes fleshing out ideas for projects pretty simple Editing and adding written notes is easy however it doesn t handle erasing written notes very well it treats them as individual lines not notes and thus makes erasing them without damaging the actual sketch quite messy unless you add another layer just for notes which is hard but seems unnecessary and cumbersome But overall a great app and look forward to future updates PS it does want you to buy the full app for 9 99 rather soon after downloading and slight usage however it is well worth its price in usability and on the go function                 Great For basic sketching joshuacalebs
This app heavily limits capabilities and should present its self for what it is a trial The very first thing you see upon opening the app is a limit to what your possibilities are but worry not should you want to unlock everything you can purchase it for 9 99 No thanks     App Is Just A Trial A 🌌🌙🌕🌋đŸŒ
There are a lot of design tools on the iOS App Store but many of them are geared toward the early sketching stage of design Despite its name Archisketch is focused on allowing you to take the sketch to the next stage by giving you tools to create presentation drawings This focus on allowing you to move beyond prototyping makes Archisketch a must have tool for anyone looking to communicate design intent in a professional manner                     Excellent app with unparalleled features in the iOS App Store FreeRangeMonkey
I can finally sketch over plans to scale no more need for sketch paper and underlays The scale function actually does work in feet and inches you just need to scroll down the menu I ve been using this for a week and it s already essential to me Take it on client meetings take it home to sketch on the plane etc I love it                     I love this app draculabonbon
It is a good game but needs to be updated                 Pretty good jeffjeffguy
Love this app for preliminary design and design development for architects ive pretty much thrown away my onion skin after 25 yrs Great for providing options changes and basic sketching to scale Love how easy it is to format and print to scale looking forward to more updates as each version gets better                     awesome app for architects Soleil and horses!!!
Looked fun and easy to use could turn out efficient technical drawings but it s pricing is ridiculous vague and gives me the feeling I d have to big bucks If it was just a set price I d probably buy But instead I deleted     Promising but terrible pricing structure PurpleDotBooks
Completely useless app Almost from the beginning it asks you to upgrade to get 29 more tools Yet does not even show you those tools Plus they don t tell you cost of upgrade is 9 99 What a scam     Useless app forces you to upgrade to use Mauijoe
Text tool No monospace font e g Menlo supported You can t always see the input box above and when you switch between several input methods it s gone above out of the screen PDF export The exported file in the email was not real PDF but rasterized bitmap Email and adobe cloud are the only option to export PDF bitmap actually You can t just simply export PDF to other apps through share extension Pencil freehand tool The line width setting does not automatically scale up down like the other tools text shape during zooming in out Writing with Apple Pencil or fingers felt unnatural as the app kept calculating changing the line paths The rest are the best I like them all one of the best was the arrow feature in the text tool and awesome perspective grids symbols dimension lines Thank you for the app                     Very great but bugs exist Arczzir
I keep getting the pop up for the up sell about 3 mins after viewing the tutorial help Definitely not enough time to evaluate Deleted immediately To the developers bad timing on your part on being much too aggressive You ve just lost consideration in a crowded market     Trial is much too short TeD2D
this app lacks some features ability to creat folders and manage files cloud storage                     overally good Sina Hakimi

I m betting by the price tag a lot of sweat blood and tears went into creating this app However it does not appear to do anything different or easier then the Concepts app by Crosshatch which is significantly cheaper This app looks very promising                 Nice App Pixelpusher636
Really frustrating to work on your projects when it takes 10 seconds to load a single pen stroke Awesome tools but has delays in Undo s delays in pen strokes is altogether non responsive or closes unexpectedly So far a waste of the 10 upgrade         Slow non responsive Asdjdjsn
Probably would be a good app but there s not enough time to review it before they keep wanting you to buy it Not buying it     Not enough time to review pen2win
App wont let me open new project or drawing without crashing Whats going on Please fix this issue             Great app when it works Miss May Tag
I own a new iPad Pro 116GB and Apple stylus The device is the most stable product I have ever worked with comparing other iOS devices Besides it stability and amazing processing power Arkisketch App constantly crashes After 10 min the interaction between stylus and app becomes heavily delayed and it is often the sign of an imminent crash I always looks the last 5 min of work besides the frustration of keep seeing the interface disappear under my eyes I purchased the pro version and I would be grateful if I could have my 10 back I know it won t happen and this is wrong side of the App stor We would all be given a trial version of 24 48 hours to test any pro version You better fix this before you ll start seeing bad reviews showing up in any iPs Apps blog App Store and Mac reviews         2 stars because 1 would make me feel bad JesusHigh
Played with the demo since it was in the great with iPad Pro pencil category I will say it s not there yet For a 9 99 paid app I would expect a lot more since there seems to be a lot of glitches When I switch to scaled tools that measure length of your lines it becomes very unstable and does not allow erasures of whole lines Rather it requires freehand erasures at times the back or undo features seem to freeze as well Not great for real drawing or draft work It has a lot of potential maybe next release         Not impressed yet rksalem
Really well done Been looking for a good solution on the iPad This is it Clean interface Well executed Easy to grasp and work with Try the demo View the tutorials I understood the app s concept and interface in 30 min                     Well done firooz
I really wanted to like this but the limited demo only allows 2 projects with 30 items This just isn t enough to determine if this is a usable app It would be nice to have a 2 project 10 20 minute per project demo time         Not too impressed with very limited demo Bird with one leg
I m in the home improvement business and often I need to present the client a drawing of what the project will look like Or I ll need to produce a working drawing to work from I ve tried almost all of the cad programs They were too complicated for my needs Finally I stumbled on this program and I m so pleased with it It s fast to do a drawing and easy to modify Works extremely well on my iPad Pro with Apple Pencil I haven t had it crash yet so I can not comment on that end I do wish there was a library of cabinets doors and windows This program is new so maybe it s will happen soon It is quite easy to build a cabinet perhaps I ll try to do a custom library In my humble opinion this program serves me very well I would recommend wonderful program Mike                     Finally Mike Rapini
I really want to like this program but just as I start to use it it crashes Hope this gets resolved it could be just what I was looking for             Crashes Season Passholder
I e been using archisketch for the past year as a sketch book for printmaking It s not fancy but it has all the elements for developing images line size color transparency layers erasure photo import For ten bucks it s been a very useful tool                     Great digital sketchbook Janzor 09
Several good functions in this app but tends to crash when using the arc tool Really like several features of this app but better apps available now that achieve stable results Appears the developer has abandon this app Save your on this onegive ArcSite a look        Good beginning in need of an update
Sounded too good to be true Does not seem to be working in even the most basic 2 drawing 15 item mode Wants in app purchases to actually do anything Delegated     To Good To Be True
This is nothing like a CAD app Dont be fooled No snap no cutting no editing or moving objects Right now it is a sketching app that is missing essential functions like the ability to erase objects As such it is not worth the money at this time It may be worth watching though to see if they improve this beta Ive tried a few times to leave a longer reviews but the App Store is not saving them        Nothing archi about it
I can finally sketch over plans to scale no more need for sketch paper and underlays The scale function actually does work in feet and inches you just need to scroll down the menu Ive been using this for a week and its already essential to me Take it on client meetings take it home to sketch on the plane etc I love it                 I love this app
This app has potential In theory it is close what Im looking for I wanted to use it for garden design drawings Creating symbols is a helpful feature for that My big but is first that the app doesnt allow me to print the drawing out larger than a post card even though it states differently You cant work around with emailing a PDF since it does jpg only Second I dont get any reply on my emails to the developer That is not helpful Online I find only two tutorials which help but dont cover enough        No customer service
Im an architect and couldnt wait to try this app Unfortunately it isnt ready for prime time The app hangs every time I use the ruler tool and I have to close and start over Good thing I squandered just 10     Needs work
The ability to manipulate an object once it is created is very poorly designed and limited Once I create an object such as a square to represent a piece of tile I am unable to rotate it and the undo bottom does not work as shown If I could manipulate and edit objects freely I would give this a 5 star rating Currently not worth the 10        Manipulating Objects
Many of the early poor reviews focus on the former subscription model which has thankfully been supplanted with an outright purchase option Its not really meant to be a CAD app and it snot as deadsimple as a lot of drawing apps That may be its problem but for what its is it does have a lot of nice features This also opens it up to more criticism I like many features but would like to see them improved I figure thats best dealt with by communicating with the developer rather than griping in these reviews Its worth exploring though even if the 15 stroke limit seems like nagware Ive been discovering more and more features as I go For now Ill say that its an intriguing an occasionally brilliant app in its nascent form It will become more handy for me when some of the more basic drawing tools are refined freehand tool lags a bit drawing area and size seems difficult to manage and more options for PDF import redlines and export vector graphics more page sizes are available Still Im encouraged that maybe someone is creating that holy grail of drawing apps for this architect or is going to get pretty close at least              FullFeatured Fixed Annoyances Work in Progress
This is a solid app that is missing one key feature for me to be willing to spend 10 to get the full version The ability to have different drawing sizes The canvas size is just too small for almost all of my projects There are so many great features in here but there is a very definitive limit to the scale of projects you can begin to work through since the canvas is so small           One thing missing
Couldnt get it to work properlyno matter what     Crap
After drawing 15 lines you are forced to pay for a year subscription Looks like a good program but who knows Seems like they havent thought out what they are doing sales wise     Trial mode is ridiculous
Only supports metric units not feet and inches Many misspellings in help files Prices quoted in Euros     Not ready for prime time in USA
What a horrid sample I would love to give a more thorough review but definitely not worth paying a subscription fee I would be interested in seeing this app make use of the inapp purchase model     Subscription
This may well be a great app But I cant tell cause the trial version doesnt allow me enough freedom to convince me Id want to even invest in it It is very limited in its offerings and I cant help but feel that Im missing the true capabilities of the program by not having a little more freedom with the trial version Furthermore I accidentally skipped the intro and could nowhere find the brief tutorial which was meager to begin with Id love to be able to say this is a great app but in honestly have no way of knowing from the tutorial     Sad trial
