I was given the AE Drone as a gift from my family and having never played with a remote control device the AR Drone was the perfect toy as it used Absolute Control and Accelerometer piloting mode However with the latest update if the remote control app only the joy stick option is available This app allows you to practice using the joy stick controller However a couple of improvements could be added to this simulator such as an altimeter and speed indicator Even without those indicators this simulator is still the AR Drone simulator to practice with Good to practice with

When I opened up the app it flew amazing Super fun Until I flew in a different map and it did nothing I have the real drone so I know how to fly it properly But with this one When I would try to fly forward it went up This is a TERIBLE drone sim and plus the graphics are bad Dont buy TERIBLE DONT BUY

This is an excellent flight simulator and mirrors the flight characteristics of the AR Drone nearly perfectly The graphics are excellent as is the animation My only complaint is that the controls are a bit too sensitive compared to the controls when flying the actual Drone Still this sim is smooth accurate good practice without repairs and its fun Great

The app is very fun and it is a great simulator but my game has a weird issue where it will be working fine but when I go to a certain map the forwardbackward and side to side controls wont work Funish

This Sim is great Remember to reset the real thing 10 if you get to fly one in real life This Sim has helped me learn to fly this thing Its fun and its kewl I am a old guy who got this as a broken gift to repair Makes me feel like a kid Now time to let my son fly it 1st review form someone who reads them all the time

Ive been interested in flying a drone after seeing them for sale I was hesitant because of the cost This sim is a great introduction to flying a 4 fan drone The best part is you can practice without the damage It feels very realistic the physics feel spot on Graphics are great on my IPAD retina I see room for a little improvement in the controls but you get touch after a few flights Im looking forward to the next update More areas to fly and added challenges would be nice GREAT JOB Great Drone Sim

Planning on getting an AR drone for my birthday I think this helped me to get ready Only 3 stars though because the setting keep changing without me I have to check them every time before I fly Gets boring after you get a handle on flying More mazes would make this fun again mazes with multiple floors would be great Basically this could be a fun game and not just a sim Good practice

This sim uses two joystick controls and no way to use the tilt of your device as a control Not quite the same

This simulator is a great way to master the controls of an AR Drone The only thing left out was wind My real drone has been knocked out of the sky several times by a gust of wind Its nice to be able to practice without worrying about replacing expensive parts AR drone owners will benefit from this inexpensive app Well done

I bought a remote control quadcopter and was scared of trying new maneuvers because I didnt want to crash it After only a few minutes of playing with this app I went outside and already felt a huge improvement Its very realistic and is great practice for real flying Great job on this app Very realistic

If youre gonna put yourself to practice before flying a real ardrone thats the app to get This sim has made it easy to get used to controls The only downside to app is its locations graphic quality Objects are really low poly and suffer from poor textures which Im looking forward to a fix in next update Quite a practical app

The first ten seconds I flew my real drone it almost landed in the pool got lucky I used this app to get a clue and figure out the controls Its not identical but close enough Dont be a beginner and fly a real one without learning with this app I think this app saved me 300

Since the addition of signal strength and battery level my kids and I have stopped playing with this We use this to practice technique and just joy ride The radio range just takes the fun out of it for the sake of reality Needs unlimited mode

Works quite well I find that it is to sensitive on the controls It to me simulates the drone with settings very high ie tilt angle height rise speed etc Very good emulator

App crashes and shuts down immediately after start up and Game Center icon appears on iPad 3 contact developer and no support or response stole my money Broken

I thought this sim would more like a video game I was happy that although it is fun to tackle the challenges provided it really is a fantastic training platform for safe practice while acquiring the basic skills to fly the real thing Great training fun

199 for an app that freezes at start up Dont waste your money until they get this issue fixed Instantly freezes on iPad Air
