While the graphics and icon are appealing once you actually play the game you figure out that it blows I have all the big games and many more and am usually fairly generous with my reviews This game is one of those 2d birds eye view space shooters done badly The screen is too cluttered There seems to be absolutely no enemy organization and you can barely see whats going on There is no strategy involved you end up just moving your finger around in circles for no particular reason because enemies are everywhere I hope to god that no more people get ripped off by this pathetic excuse for a game     Dont buy

A potentially good game ruined by utterly abysmal controls The finger sensitivity just seems off and imprecise which is what you dont want in a bullet hell shooter Also it annoyingly switches to a side scroller which is where the poor control really shines You have to control it with your left finger and stuff is constantly flying at you that your finger blocks I really hate this and I wish I hadnt bought this game        Terrible controls

I got it for an alternative to SuperLaser and was I surprised The topdown is nice but they even throw in side scrolling as well The innovative control method is a nice way to handle your fingers getting in the way For iPod and iPhone users it doesnt get much better for this type game My only issue is that I wanted to jump in right away but had to sit through the intro movie No skipping Oh well Anguawolf                 Sahweet

This game puts a completely unique twist on the standard arcade genre of TopDown Shooters that the Raiden X series perfected with its transition between the traditional overhead and side views The Ships are well balanced and the style of the enemies movements was well planned The method of weapon upgrades was very clever and I appreciated how the continue system worked The storyline is overall very standard with all games in this genre whether it be Active Lancer Raiden X or Assault Squadron bit thats the beauty of it It continually keeps that Retro feel to it that everyone loves The cutscenes Oh man wow You guys went all out on those they were the cherry on top of this grand old ice cream sunday Good job guys Why you ever allowed this to be the free app of the day Ill never know but with the amount of effort you put into this you definitely deserve the money you sell this game for Wow                 Truly Wonderful

Loved every moment of the game Great graphics and smooth gameplay even on my 3G running ios 42 which doesnt run anything smoothly My ONLY complaint would be that Id like a few more levels but thats just because its so good An absolute steal at 99                 Beautiful and brilliant

If you see any negative reviews be assured that they are highly suspicious because every aspect of this game is nearly perfect Ever had a hard time maneuvering around with thumb or clearly being able to see current healthenemy healthetc Not in this game the unique thumb control mode makes sending your ship into any area of the screen precisely and instantly as simple as how fastmuch you move your thumb Whoever wrote this gamesoundtrackstory loved it a lot and had a lot of experience doing it right and it shows My favorite iPhone game ever purchased Hell favorite actionscroller2d game purchased period on any deviceconsole                 The best shooter available

The story is the best thing here and its still not amazing There are soooooo many games just like this     Not original Borinnnggg

The game has neat cut scenes and looks great but the actual gameplay is so chaotic its unbelievable It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to not get hit sometimes This game is not meant to be beaten You get hit 4 times and GAME OVER You get 10 continues and I got to the beginning of level 4 with that There is nothing that seems to reboost health The game is just chaos There is so much on screen at once you cant tell the tiny enemy space craft from the orbs your supposed to get from the enemy fire You dont shoot either Its on continual fire So basically you move your finger around get hit a bunch no strategy use continues then delete the app because its a mess It has potential if there was MUCH less on screen at one time        Unbelievably jumbled

Just downloaded this yesterday and played through it The campaign is short but the graphics are awesome and they gameplay has a lot of flexibility Multiple ships varying difficulties awesome weapons The only issue I have is that my fat fingers cover up a more significant portion of the screen than one would like blocking your vision of enemies and what they are shooting at you Any fans of this genre game know that the ability to move in extremely tight windows between bullets is absolutely essential and with your finger in the way you cant dodge what you cant see Overall its a lot of fun              Great game

This game presentation is amazing From the cut scenes to its actual gameplay all crystal clear and very details The control is made for lefty Update please give us the setting to change the special weapon on to the right and let use flip the screen on the side scroller part of the game Im not used to using my left thump to play itouch games              Great but Im not a lefty

one of the most polished scrolling shooters for ios its a must have for genre fans especially for the killer sidescrolling levels my only complaint is i wish the whole game was sidescrolling instead of every other stage like lifeforcesalamander on nesfamicon              a total professional shump

Im having trouble understanding the purpose of the shield levels on the ships I get the same number of lives with every ship and I dont understand where the shields come in I dont really play games like this very often though The only other thing is that it would be cool to add more options for increased customization The phoenixs secondary is actually weaker and less useful than the main weapon and Id love to be able to use one of the other ships secondaries on the Phoenix              great game but

Great gameplay but controls a pretty bad Im right handed and have hard time controlling the ship when playing in the landscape mode missions Also the ship is too big And hard to see and control on screen           Left handed game

Nicely made shooter and some decent polish I think the easy mode should be a little easier in the mid to late stages but thats my opinion I kinda wish there was 2 more options added for playability one a little easier the next between what is now easy and hard Also a couple to more waveslevels are needed kinda short campaign with 6 levels Still give 5 stars with hopes for added levelsupdates in the near future or Assault Squadron II with more levels than 6 and I will gladly buy              Solid shooter

Fantastic game great graphics and gameplay but whats holding this game back are the controls and no orientation flip You have 3 weapons autofire secondary and bomb In the levels that use portrait mode rightside up to use your secondary weapon you can either take your finger off the screen for a few seconds suicidal in such a frantic game or tap and hold the S button with another finger The problem here is that the S button is on the bottom right Im righthanded and I like to use my right hand to control the shipmaking tapping that S button more or less impossible to hit unless I cross over my left hand awkward and impractical or I use my ring finger to hit it which ends up in me dying half the time Also I think the 2finger detection is offwhen I have one finger controlling the ship and another holding the S button I release the S button and the ship goes spastic and usually ends up with me dead Additionally the Bomb button is on the far righthand corner of the screen and theres no way Im hitting that one Suggestion eliminate the S button and have 2 fingers on the screen activate the secondary button and have the B button movable OR eliminate the B button as well and have 3 fingers on the screen register for firing the bomb This essentially makes the entire screen your S or B button That was for portrait mode The above changes would be great but in the meantime an easy fix for the landscape levels is a simple orientation switch ie when I turn my phone upside down the screen would change with it would be fine with the current control schemewith your plane on the right and the buttons on the bottom it would leave my right pointer finger able to control the ship while my left thumb free to hit either the secondary or bomb buttons Please dont get me wrongthis is a great game But fixing the controls would make playing this game infinately more enjoyable              Great game but controls are a real challenge

This is a Euroshmup It has a health bar large hitbox the enemies take too many shots to kill the bosses are very simple and take too long to die Also the bullets are very easy to confuse with score items on the cluttered screen and stationary enemies can be easily mistaken for scenery and vice versa All that said its still decently fun I dont hate it But its still nowhere near the quality of professional shmups like Darius or Cave titles           OK Euroshmup

my biggest complaint with this game is the size it takes up 250MB on my iphone and space is precious the movies which are totally unnecessary are what I assume to be the culprit I have shmups with better graphics that take up less than half the size other than that this is an average shmup with a decent amount of difficulty in the normal and hard modes I just dont really want such a hefty chunk of app on my phone which is too bad           I have one major issue with this game

Everything about this game is topnotch except the controls The buttons are layed out in a way that almost seems intentionally awkward For example if you use your right hand to steer the ship as most righthanded folks would be apt to do all the buttons for bombs and special weapons are hidden by your hand as theyre all lined up along the right side of the screen while your hand has to be in the center of the screen to control the ship So if you want to drop a bomb charge a weapon or even check how much ammo you have left you literally have to move your hand off the controls In a frantic arcade shooter i think its obvious why thats a bad thing On the upside if youre a lefty it looks like everything is positioned just right for you        Beware if youre not a lefty

BEST TECHNO BEAT                

Its a little chaotic for me I seem to do better on the sideways orientation And six levels is a bit quick Looks great though Enemy ammo needs to be more noticable Bosses are pretty cool              Ok

I have five other iOS bullet hell games and this one smokes them all Im happy to have paid only 99 cents for it That price was a steal even though its free today If you have room in your idevice get this game now If you dont have room youd better delete a few apps and snatch this up anyway The different difficulty settings and unlockable ships further sweeten the deal The cut scenes are great as well the first time through but there is an option to play the game without them                 Short but satisfying thats what she said
