AVDic HD ( for iPad )

There are currently about a half dozen dozen apps that take advantage of the subtitles available in a whole host of languages expertly translated and made to accompany the 900 brilliant Ted Talk lecture videos Although these apps are mainly of interest to advanced students of English there is also solid practice to be had for speakers of English who are studying other languages I spent the day test driving all of them and this one appears to be the best of the bunch although it desperately needs the ability to create userdefined context menus for accessing external dictionaries via URL schemes like Mr Reader and Marvin do That aside this app already offers an impressive array of user configurable options and other features which its competitors currently either lack or have implemented with less successful results If youre an advanced language looking for stimulating challenging content then this app is definitely a good one to add to your collection              The Best of the International TED Bunch

I had bought this app for iPad with the though it was compatible with iPhone When I downloaded with iPhone i was charged the 2nd time In the phone app It says compatible with iPad but in iPad app it just says compatible with iPad only Be careful watching out for this marketing trap     Cheating
