This is the perfect pair to the BBQ Guru You basically cant have one without the other It took me a while to set up but once it was up and running it was a breeze to use 20 minutes to figure out the wifi setup Two notes for future update the stats graph needs timestamp units on the x axis the notes tab needs to be upgraded in order to be able to post cook stats              FINALLY

Great app Would be great to see the changes mentioned in other reviews and to keep it from timing out losing the temperature history Make all those updates and youd have a great app              Great could be better

Works much better than the web based access Much faster just cant change anything besides cook temp Get errors with cook temp setting but it takes Probably an issue with my network but app works like it should              Good app

This app has a major security flaw it apparently retains your home network wifi password in the clear and as it saves your settings on the developer web site they apparently have access to this data as well Not ok BBQ Guru and Developer need to fix ASAP Im now having to change the password for my entire network frustrating     SECURITY FLAW

The pit pall is better as is the guru monitor If I could combine those two it would be best Dont bother with this one     I tried to like it

This app could be fantastic but needs quite a bit of work Sad when you the basic web page works better than the app Connectivity NOT intuitive to setup and frequently looses the connection to the router UI Just OK on iPhone Names of the setup sections are not intuitive as to what they are eg Control Setup and System Setup Names of of the setup options within each section are not intuitive at all Need to add ALARMS in app On iPad some of the options are not available due to the app developers advertisement covering the optionswhich basically makes the app on the iPad worthless I love my CyberQ WiFi It is fantastic for the Big Green Egg This app not so much If there was a better app with a competitors product with the same capability I would sell the CyberQ on eBay and buy the competitors product to have a better overall user experience BBQGuruPlease upgrade the UI of this app to make owning the CyberQ WiFi a great user experience     Needs wor

This I a good app for the CyberQ Although the graphing only works on the pit temp not the meat temps Over all it works good Id give it 5 stars if I could get the graphing to work better              Good app

So today we installed the bbq remote app to our computer and mobile devices and when we tested it out the clouds opened the trumpets played and the angels said bring you some brisket n ribs and get to cookin It practically does all the work you have to plug device in and enter your temps and time After months of trying to figure out the cyberQ instructions of which one must possess a pHD to understand them this app has been the answer to our prayers The developers to this app must cook on the grillgreen egg all the time using their cyber q wifi as they covered every possibility to cooking outdoors and added personality to the cyber q infothis app turns bland info from the guru into a user friendly contromonitoring center I sent them some of my suggestions and they were happy to implement them into improving their app So if you are into bbqing and own a cyberQ this is a must have app If you dont own a BBQ GURU cyberQ I highly recommend getting one and downloading the app because without this app the cyber q is just a box with numbers You can watch football wash the truck entertain all while watching and controlling temps from your device at the pit or from a remote location Thanks guys for all of your hard work and dedication                 The next best invention to Viagra

If this app ever does everything it advertises itll be great For now food probe temps have never worked I cant use the app outside my home network but I can use the guru platform so its not me the online set up guide doesnt work and now it seems the developers have forgotten about it Come on guys Fix this thing Now its basically quit working and the designers seemed to have forgotten about it Dont waste your time     Needs Work

Im a geek and also known to my friends as the BBQ guy With my Green Egg and CyberQ I have a perfect balance between both This unit does exactly what it says Fire up the smoker Set your target temp And go about your day while being able to check in remotely Took a while to get set up Im a geek and it even took me a while to get this set up with my WiFi and port forwarding on my router to allow it to be accessed remotely Some good info on the net to help with config Highly recommended                 Outstanding

There are some minor issues when posting temperature to device or alarms not working right off the bat but this thing is still great              A little quirky in spots but still awesome

The stream feature seems to be broken Not critical to the app but its nice to see what other people are BBQing App is extremely useful for monitoring my barbecue without having stand at the pit A few enhancements I would like to see are sound alerts in the app when target temps are reached for food probes even when app isnt open CyberQ unit beeps but cant hear it if Im inside Error codes being thrown for food probes not plugged in Would like to be able to start app and have it auto log me in and go straight to the home screen instead of network settings It stores that info so should be able to handle behind the scenes I hope the devs continue to improve the app as it is a great start              Stream seems to be broken

Features of the app are good with the exception of the charting which is useless without axis and full screen Have come across a few instances where the settings can not be saved to the device as well My personal preference would be a more professional GUI to match the features built in Actually pretty versatile but cheesy graphics make it look like a game           Quirky

set up help not available will not allow data entries to set up wifi will check back next week to see if this app is fixed and usable     no set up available

While expensive If you want to smoke without hanging over you green egg all day it is worth every penny                 Game changer

I use this app every time I fire up the smoker Its great for monitoring pit and food temp and changing put temp remotely My CyberQ was painfully set up in Infrastructure mode and I CAN use this app on cellular away from the house but you have to change IP type Whats My IP on home network from Google use that on cellular Would like to see Stats with axis labeling and need to get Alerts working and hooked up to push notification           Very convenient

Runs my cyberq wifi great and would be perfect of it had built in notifications I can control the system but still have to depend on my email for temp notifications              Great but no notifications

I used to love this app Why fix something that isnt broke Every time I step out of current cook to adjust meat temp or check alerts the app freezes I have to uninstall and reinstall every time in order to get pass gathering guru info screen Seriously disappointed in this update Ill just stick to the web page setup for cyberQ     Horrible update

Lets face it boys and there toys Grilling for me is about the details and fun This app just enhances both Cant wait to see future versions                 Love it

Was really excited to see this app finally released The last version was working pretty good but the latest update will no longer connect to the cyberq Keeps getting error cannot save settings try again Frustrating Wanted to do a smoke tonight and had to resort to the native cyberq web interface Hope you fix the app soon Lots of smoking planned for the summer     Excitement Dashed

The app is cute but data update rate is too slow and theres not too much use in just the pit chart BBQ guru this app could both do better           Alpha release

Other than a nice looking interface this app is pretty useless Will not sync cant set wifi controls It might be great if it would work        Looks cool
