Tomato Interactive known for the hit childrens game Giraffes Pre School Playground although I know a few adults that enjoy it too have now released an addiciting new game that older casual gamers will abosultely love The goal of the game is to tap and match 2 pieces Sounds simple but throw in that the fact that the its timed matched pieces disappear and that many pieces can look very similar and you have game that is challenging as well as addicting Also bonus points are scored for making matches quickly and deducted for wrong matches It takes a good eye to sometimes find the corresponding piece With multiple time modes and a marathon mode the game can be played in short bursts or longer gaming sessions Also the background music from the Kill Screens rocks Definitely a keeper                 BLOCKZILLA DESTROYS TOKYO

This review has been delayed for far too long on my part but here i come finally king of blokzilla ready to review your faces off So Blokzilla done by Tomato Interactive was something that I had played good and decent bit a matching game with that twist of already having the pieces revealed The concept is all about speed though to be the fastests matcher in all blok world Admittedly my fanfare with the game dropped off with the original version but once the leaderboards and achievements arrived the power of the game grew its roots into me and the fun really began I played hours on end why because compeition and fun are prevalent as you work on your ability with the game Its simple and easy to understand ad yet as room to ocntinue mastering it as time goes on One of the strengths of the game is its advantage of being a quick game to pick up an play for a short period with the one minute madness There is one concern I have with the game but was not too problematic to effect my thinking of it much That problem was there seemed to be situations where the gme could crash when hitting pause at certain points during the gameplay usually near the end of a round This usually wasnt a concern as loading up the game is very quick so it wasnt much of a hassle Still the game is great and definately worth picking up                 Bloktastic A matching game of joyous jubilation

You are presented with multiple patterns that you have to match together You tap on one then find its twin and tap it and they both disappear from the board Sounds simple right The beauty of this game is in its simplicity Truly pickup and play There are several play modes which include 1 Minute Madness 2 Minute Madness 5 Minute Madness and Marathon The names of the play modes are pretty selfexplanitory For example in 1 Minute Madness you have 1 minute to complete 5 puzzles Each puzzle you complete presents you with a larger more difficult puzzle to complete Sure some of the puzzles are a walk in the park However other puzzles really challenge your attention to detail Many of the blocks look nearly identical with very subtle differences scattered about This is the true challenge Think youre a detailoriented person You may think so but this game will kick you to the floor and laugh at your inability to detect subtle differences that should be obvious making you want to keep playing so you can improve your memory However the game does occasionally throw you a bone Sometimes after finding a match a powerup will appear There appears to be two different ones The first one is a missile Tapping the missile will summon an AirStrike which will drop missiles on the board effectively getting rid of some of the matches for you This is very handy in the more difficult boards where the matches arent so easy to find The second is an icon called the Eye of Truth Upon tapping this icon the truth will be revealed to you Each match on the board will be quickly displayed one after the other This is especially handy on big boards but act fast If you dont keep up with it it wont do you much good The music in this game is superb It is composed by a band called The Kill Screens The music presents such an ambiance to the game that it makes it relaxing to play The execution of this game is pure genius It is a great time killer It is very easy to lose yourself in this game trying to solve the puzzles faster so you can beat your best score And not only is it a blast to play but it helps improve your memory as well which is excellent Whether youve got a few minutes to kill or youre trying to relax from a long work day you cant go wrong with Blokzilla This is a great game Dont be fooled by its simplicity This game is as addicting as Tetris Buy it Now                 Fun and addicting A matching game on steroids

A great pickup and play match game The only knock against this title is that some of the backgrounds are busy and tend to muddy the playing field Another then this a great game cant wait to see whats next This review was based on the iPhone version of the game              Almost a 5

Very addictive This game greatly reduced the chances of me getting all my homework done on time And after I was done playing I left it on just to listen the great soundtrack                 Great game

maybe the free version is worth it not enjoying this game enough to warrant the 099        meh

This game oozes with style The animated backgrounds engaging music tracks and unique game pieces not to mention the crazy powerups make this game a blast to play even if you only have one minute to play a game I cant wait for online leaderboards to be added but other than that this is already a very complete fun game and a fantastic value                 Stylish Pick Up and Play matching game

Im really kind of shocked by how good this game is I always go for the matchthetiles games but theyve taken the formula and done something really interesting here First its beautifully packaged with great graphics Second theres a mode for any time frame you like Third the music is all original and an interesting addition to the gameplay And fourth it ramps up in difficulty nicely so that I feel like Im accomplishing something The developer asked me to try it since Im a blogger and podcaster so I went into this with a healthy dose of skepticism But as soon as I turned it on and figured it out I couldnt put it down for 45 minutes Very happy to recommend it now                 Surprisingly Addictive

Blokzilla Great music on this game even though the Blue Oyster Cult song keeps running through my mind I am not a huge gamer but this game is super engaging and I DARED use it during a long boring meeting sound off of course and it made the time fly I have not explored all the options yet saving the next one up for the next meeting This game would be great on an airplane but just as entertaining if you wanted to slip a little quality time in while standing in line for lunch I highly recommend Blokzilla                 Its a Feast for the Eyes Ears a Challenge for the Mind

Ive purchased a lot of apps many of which lose appeal after a few initial plays This is NOT one of those apps This is one of those games you will continually go back to One of my favorite inclusions is a mode for whatever timeframe youre in a 60 second mode as well as a Marathon mode that fills as much time as you need assuming you have the skill for it The music is FANTASTIC and fits the game pefectly The art is simple but interesting and detailed enough to give your eyes a treat to look at With online leaderboard support coming in the next update I know I will be playing this one for a long time Only thing that has bothered me is that sometimes when Im tapping icons very rapidly the game seems to miss button presses but it could just be the hardware iPod touch 2nd gen isnt capable of receiving inputs that quickly BUY THIS GAME                 Great Title no pun intended

I have a very hard time putting this game down I have an hour train ride tofrom work and I usually sleep Not anymore Blokzilla has caused me to be sleep deprived I do wish that the marathon mode high scores also kept track of your level and score I also would like a practice mode to hone my skills for sequential matches for big points but neither if those impact the game play Sounds are great and the patterns can be tricky                 Very fun and addictive

The original music makes this game worth it along with the challenging game play                 Awesome all around

It would be easier just to say that this is an awesome match game but its more than that The soundtrack is what caught my ear right off the bat I know I know soundtrack for a puzzle game Yes great music and it flows well with the vibe you get from the game itself The gameplay is fantastic You cant just mindlessly button mash unless you want to be penalized by a hit to your score Choose wisely young padawan I also love the bonuses with the bomber and the all seeing eye Great soundtrack fantastic gameplay 4 Where it falls short for me is variety 3 different variations of minute challenges and 1 marathon mode just arent enough to get 5 stars That being said Im looking forward to a possible content update in the future while trying to beat my current marathon high score              4 Pattern Recognition Stars

Great artwork great music and great gameplay keep you coming back for just one more game to try and beat your high score The future addition of online leaderboards will really add to this already great game                 More fun than jumping flaming barrels rolling down girders

But I must say this far is quite good Good job John n McCarthy              I am not a fan of puzzle games
