First off I hate apps that are only available in portrait orientation Is it really that hard to make it usable in portrait OR landscape mode Secondly when searching for this app on the app store it never showed up I had to Google it go to the developers site and click on get app to find it Orient yourself
I dont know where to begin I really liked the concept of this app and the interface is even nice looking The app itself is SO buggy its insane I added notes to the image I uploaded and suddenly the numbers were all mixed up with one another annotating the wrong areas Also I spent a few minutes filling out the about this project description to only find that none of it actually saves Moreover you cant go back and edit an annotation if you suddenly need to toggle back and forth into the app from multitasking I am a UX designer by trade and was hoping this app would help me collaborate with clients Hope this feedback is useful The idea has potential The implementation was a huge disappointment Extremely buggy
Update The apps marketing is attractive but the reviews arent getting any better because the app isnt either Developers PLEASE reallocate funding from MARKETING to APP DEVELOPMENT Come on folks poor execution wont lead to success BOUNCE is a good idea but is starting to smear the IDEAPAINT brand Original review Bounce is disappointing I expected the app to be a grand showpiece for Ideapaint It would I thought demonstrate how collaborative visual thinking could shepherd an idea from conception thru wildly successful product launch The app would be UNIQUE SIMPLE POLISHED and USEFUL Rather it is none of these It strikes me as the leanest of lean endeavors Cant imagine it having anything but a negative impact on the Ideapaint brand Love Ideapaint AND the idea of Bounce but the apps execution is lacking this version is slow on a 6 confusing and barely executes its most basic function Sure hope a major revision is in the works Disappointing
