With a 1 and 4 years old boys my morning routine is stressful And I realized I needed an app to help keep my 4 year old son s morning routine and us on task I wasn t sure if he would take to this app at such a young age but it s worked well Because he is still young we don t always get the tasks completed within its allotted time but we do manage to get the entire sequence done on time Also if we don t do the routine in the exact order outlined he insists that it must be completed and not delayed I still have to prompt him but not to the extent I had previously and less yelling too This app is also great for my husband and our nanny Nothing gets missed now There are other apps for routines but this is the first that I ve found that can truly be customized For example we customized really for me a routine to manage his learning time we needed to work on some preschool skills and it s helped to ensure that it gets done                     I LOVE this app Pr1ncessAnne

I just downloaded the app after reading about it on ADDitude We are 2 weeks into it and it s been great We have been using it for school mornings It has changed the whole dynamic Even my son s teacher said she noticed a difference when he got to school I highly recommend it                 New to Brili GVRW

Lengthy review warning I searched for hours for an app that would do exactly what this app does and was ecstatic when I finally found this app I spent hours and kept tweaking each child s routine over the next few weeks Btw customer support from the developer has been amazing and super responsive to any questions and suggestions I homeschool my 3 children in 7th grade 5th and 2nd I m not a very disciplined or structured when it comes to routines I love flexibility Our mornings were typically breakfast then get to school work and my kids didn t fuss too much about the days work But there wasn t enough structure and I always felt unaccomplished because I didn t do well with writing down what they did or needed to do so I always felt like there was still things they needed to do if they were playing Like they needed to be in a textbook 8 hours day Brili has given much peace about our days My kids have completed at least 2 activities before I ve gotten out of bed So a typical child s routine is set up by the parent Within the routine and several can be made for any given day the parent sets adds activities such as make bed get dressed eat breakfast Each activity is given a reasonable amount of time to complete My kids like to zoom through the Morning routine to have extra play time before their Begin school routine chimes at them at the set time Each activity is assigned however many stars you want to give for that activity if completed Rewards are talked about with child and parent creates that for the child to work towards When the child completes an activity they swipe that card to the left on the device If the child needs to push it off for later swipe it to the right and the next activity appears The whole routine can be paused but unfinished activities time will continue counting down Or if they swipe the activity to the right to change up the order of activities math grammar writing reading etc then when they get back to that activity many times the time has decreased to where they aren t able to finish that subject activity in the remaining time left This part of the app is the only reason I didn t give it 5stars Something about this part always frustrate us and we just say oh well no stars but finish work Other than that when I hear them playing mid morning I can look at my device and see their routines live and see that they are actually on break which I created and have so many minutes left which then allows me to relax and know I have time to shower or whatever It s helping us all manage our time so much better and actually be more productive without me feeling like I m going in circles with what has or hasn t been done There s many features to learn and it took a good while to work through it and several days at least a week to tweak or change up a child s routine so it wasn t conflicting with another child s need for my attention to certain subjects I am definitely thankful for this app and I would say 5 6 weeks later it was worth the 20 No day planner would ve helped us all like this app has                 Homeschool routines everydayisahollyday

I have 2 kids with ADHD and one of them is dyslexic and can t read at all yet The voice prompts are fantastic My oldest is now getting up on her own with her alarm clock showering in her bathroom and coming downstairs dressed and brushed which is huge because she has always struggled with executive functioning It even works miracles with my youngest son He doesn t have ADHD he s just a whining pain in the morning Now he gets up without complaint because he knows the faster he gets through his routine the more free time he can get before he has to go to school Highly recommend                     My kids love it and so do the parents 73177

My son is six years old and just starting to understand his routine After constant battles to get dressed brush your teeth and put on your shoes this app had been extremely helpful and engages him He likes the star and trophy system although I wish you could remove stars for not completing the task on time Having the app on their device as well as yours is great and I like the push notifications for when to start the routines I ve just started using it but already have set routines for morning and night When he s back in school I also will start an afternoon routine He s always struggled with transitions and likely always will but this has helped tremendously Thank you for the app and turning time with my son from constant nagging to more quality time in the mornings and evenings                 Great app for my ADHD son Bionic Mutt

We have used this program since it was in Beta Once my two boys one NT one not understood the concept they both eagerly used their morning routines we had set up It was amazing how fast this worked We have used other reward and cue tools but never using their favorite device Several months later our NT child still follows his routine but doesn t even bother with Brili anymore I highly recommend it I do think you have to sit down for awhile and understand the program and think carefully through routines of your kids Worth every penny UPDATE We recently dusted off this app for our NT son once again I cannot be happier It simply works like a charm and takes out the nagging                     This App has been incredible and brought sanity back to our mornings Wig31

I am an adult using this app I get distracted easily and sometimes have trouble staying productive It is a simple app but has helped me to stick to a routine and be aware of how much time I am spending on tasks Right now there are only 2 subscription options but they are working on more choices I recommend trying it I don t have kids but the friend who recommended it to me uses it with his son He said it has helped him tremendously As a teacher I know kids need structure This gives them that while allowing them to be independent at the same time The idea of a routine with a timer is a simple one but it really works                     Teacher Teacher274

My 9 year old son tends to struggle with getting himself ready and out the door in the morning Despite all of our timers and counting and reminding and other supports some mornings it is almost impossible for him to get himself ready for school It was not uncommon for our family to feel completely spent and emotionally exhausted by 7 30 am I ve been looking for an app that provides an easy interface with visuals and a timer just like this that isn t designed primarily for very young children I love that I can use the browser interface on my laptop to make tweaks to his routine just my preference but I could just as easily use my iPad The best part for our family is how the schedule countdown works dynamically with the actual time on the clock So if we need to be out the door by 7 20 if my son moves through all of his tasks more quickly than the estimated time alloted that extra time will be added to the end to let him know how much time he has earned to play before we need to leave So he can IMMEDIATELY see the positive result of his efforts which is very motivating to him It took me a little time working with building a routine to figure out how everything worked but not that long and it s easy to make adjustments when you learn something new We have been using this app for only a few days now but the results were immediate Rather than feeling hassled by us to do each task he now feels empowered by the app to know what to do and follows through on his own Perhaps being able to actually SEE the task and the time he has left makes the difference I don t know I just know that it works and our mornings are much calmer I almost never pay for apps but feel like the money I spent on this one was worth every penny It s much less than a parenting book and has helped our family way more Thank you so much to the developers for the obvious time and care you put into creating this app                     The Visual Schedule App for All Ages of Kids Thankful Mom 2
