The Charity Navigator is now available as a free download on Apple Store for iOS owners. The application is available in multiple languages: English, German, Northern Sami, Spanish. It weighs in at only 9.1 MB to download. The new Charity Navigator app version 1.0 has been updated on 2014-11-26.

Received this email in answer to my inquiry about crashing app From Tech Support Support staff Apple made changes in iOS 11 that broke our application as well as others They have rejected several updated versions we have submitted but we hope to get one approved soon At that point the app should update and work again Please let me know if you have any other questions Matt Dragon Director of Engineering Charity Navigator                     It s an Apple issue akovia

The look up process is still failing when you try to see information CN app stops when you select a charity that was brought up by the search Using iOS 11 2 on Apple I have heard that the website is still working I may have to use it Look up is working for unrated charities but there is no inform ation for CN to give The app stops if there is a rating     STILL NOT ABLE SEARCH cutie1247

Today is Giving Tuesday Lots of appeals in the email today I go to investigate one get it on the list click on it for more data other than the stars and the app crashes Multiple times on both iPhone and iPad both up to date with software Since this is a main function of CN a charity itself what rating would it get I have been a donor to CN up to now Won t be if this is not fixed quickly From the ratings of the app I see that I am not alone     Very Disappointed Steve Doylestown

The app no longer works I enter a charity name select one from a list that comes up and the app shuts down iPhone with the latest versions of the iOS and the app installed It appears this app has not been updated in over a year Unfortunately I m deleting this app for now but glad that the website lookup still works well     Crashes EileenMike

I don t know when this app stopped functioning but it won t open and I cannot delete it I have restarted the iPad done a hard restart to no avail Useless and taking up space     App won t open and cannot be deleted faldoc1

I just downloaded the Charity Nav app to research charities for year end giving Overall I like it s ease of use However on my iPad Air 32 Gb iOS 9 2 the app constantly crashes going into background mode forcing me to restart my session from the default opening main screen Also the app doesn t support landscape mode on my iPad If it weren t for these issues I d give it a 4 star rating             Generally good app but Fluteman-two

It is great to have a readily accessible resource for evaluating the enormous amount of charities vying for donations I believe in supporting charities but have been duped too many times High profile organizations are not always the best choice This app will help donors make educated decisions                     Great Resource They dont want this input

I have been on the desktop site and decided to download the app The info page of the app shows that no one had reviewed it However I downloaded the app and it kept crashing on startup I decided to write a review I hoped the app creators would fix the bugs To my surprise others referred to the crashing issue back in January and it still has not been fixed Oh well This was a good idea for an app but too bad it keeps crashing     Keeps Crashing What a Shame keltub

Not all US charities are in there and it s a little clunky but it s a great idea     They are not all in there Lor in Chicago

It s great to have a charity navigator app and I can view the charities well but when adding charities to my favorites list they are not actually added to my charities It s a tad buggy and needs refinement to be useful Hopefully it will be fixed         Good attempt but needs work Tknterry
