Cooking Light Magazine

I have been a CL subscriber since the very first paper issue and I still find inspiration and new family favorites almost every month We love eating delicious easytofix food that helps keep us healthy And this app makes that even easier Thanks                 Still in love after all these years

A bit hard to navigate at first but content is amazing and worth the trial and error              Great cooking app

Once the magazine is downloaded it looks great for a little while Just wait until you update the app or download next months issue You have to redownload every issue each time you upgrade It takes hours Ridiculous        Only works part of the time

I cannot download the magazine I do have an older iPad but if the app does not work give me my money back Also you really need bookmarks Not added to another site or app Bookmarks in your app     Crashhhhhh

I have tried to save recipe to MyRecipes as well as Pinterest however Im not able to save to either     Unable to save recipes

I have entered in my info 5x and still am unable to log onto the app If this is bad before I get on I dont even want to know what its like afterwards     Cant even log in

Love the app and its links to recipe saver but cant find a grocery list with the recipes and the everyday items I need That would make it pretty much complete and over the moon for me Put in a barcode reader so I can scan items I need from home and its a perfect system              Great but missing item

Every single time I enter my email address it tells me the space is blank I was quite pleased to be able to use the app to scan photos and save the recipe but when I cant even sign in the hell with it Boo hiss     Crapola

I agree with other reviewers on many counts prime among them 1 need to be able to read in landscape position 2 when attempting to save as a opposed to making a favorite it takes me to MyRecipes This would be ok if I was able to sign into that but the app will not let me When I check MyRecipes separately I can sign in but the supposedly saved recipes are not there 3 in the index of a magazine there is a spot to tap to access the more than 15000 recipes but the app will not let me The link comes up but consistently crashes without letting me put in anything for a search This app has potential but is almost worthless as it is     Very Disappointing

I have saved recipes numerous times and then if I can even get into my recipe file they maybe there today and maybe even tomorrow but not the next day or next week Also when I have hit save on a recipe the app will ask for my log info and when I enter it it says my email addy is wrong and then it lets me into my account This app would be great if were reliable        This App Needs A Whole Lot Of Love

Tried 100 times to make this open my digital copy Went through the help site did all of the trouble shooting strategies to avail Spent a lot of time to try to get this going and they still only offered to have me pay for it again What a jip     Terrible app

Even though the app said my recipes were being saved my recipe box was always empty The app crashes regularly I requested help but all they will do is thank me for my subscription and suggest that I look at faqs I responded that I already tried everything suggested in faqs I have requested a refund from iTunes     Doesnt work

It should be called weight light The amount of weight lost can be doubled by following the fantastic recipes This is a great tool I love it                 Weight Light

My expectations may be high but Im looking for a solid app which would allow me to search recipes save them etc This app seems to just open the digital magazine Not too digital compared to food network and other recipe websites apps        Disappointing

Unable to creat an account to access the digital version Unable to printsave grocery list no access to digital website account Apple support unable to assist tells me its the magazines supplier issue the magazine supplier tells me its an Apple app issue Bounced around between Apple and the magazine supplier Still no resolution and all I get is the finger pointing match Very disappointed with the customer service on both ends     No support on digital version

I cannot open the latest issue Trying to view May issue and I keep getting April issue Please fix        Latest issue

This is the only digital mag I have Its alright I havent tried to save any recipes yet though so we shall see              Pretty good

I love that this is free with my print subscription I subscribe to a couple other magazines that charge for the app in addition to print The app is perfect for my uses I like to be able to flip through a physical magazine but if Ive only got my iPad handy this is great to have as a resource and I like the availability of back issues at my fingertips The app is easy to use and its cool to have those extra recipes offered as a tablet bonus I only have a minor complaint if I open a recipe switch even briefly to another app and then switch back to this one the recipe I had open does not come back up I have to open it from its intropicture screen again If I turn the iPad off and on it does it as well Its obviously not a dealbreaker but it would be nice if the recipe was immediately available upon returning to the app                 Love it

I used to LOVE the digital version because it was so easy to save the recipes Since IOS8 it has been useless Since Cooking Light and Southern Living only link to My Recipes you are left with nice recipes that you can only save with paper For the December issue the recipes dont even come up on My Recipes For the months before when most of the recipe pulls up on My Recipes all of the links are dead cant sign in or save or anything This also happens trying to access the recipes through My Recipe Box Paprika or Safari on the website Im sorry I have loved Cooking Light for many years But having recipes with no way to save them is pretty useless and I have no desire to have stacks of paper     Used to be Great Has Become Useless

I just spent 10 on an app that doesnt open pretty ticked off     App doesnt work

The app works well So far I like the articles and variety in recipes No major complaints              Cooking Light

This takes more time to download than it does to make the food I got this app because I dont like hanging on to old magazines but now Im wondering if its worth it I do like the recipes but Im starting to think my money would be better spent on a cookbook for the kindle At least then the recipes are easily available when you want them        Seriously I have to redownload all issues every time it updates

While I love having the magazine at hand I hate that I have such a hard time downloading it           Downloading Issues

Just downloaded the app and love it I am a big fan of Cooking Light This app makes it easy to preview and save recipes Beautiful photos I can tell they gave a lot of thought to making the magazine interactive online Will get a lot of meal planning done on the go                 Very Happy

You cant rotate the screen and it drives me nuts because my iPad case isnt designed to stand it portrait Otherwise love the archives the recipe box works well love the interface to the magazine m              Would be a 5 but

I already had a subscription and just paid for a renewal I then received an email saying I could access the digital version by logging into the app Unfortunately the only option I get is to agree to another subscription for 1999 which of course I will not do There is no option to log in with my account number Waste of time and very frustrating     Does not appear to work

Just downloaded find it doesnt work Entered my info signed in but now window wont close cant open mag or see any page at all Am a subscriber to the mag love it so was eager to use this app Unfortunately its a dud Is this just a scam to get my email address Deleting app     Not happy

Works well The navigation bar is not very easy to use But otherwise if you like the magazine the app is exactly that                 Good app

I have recently resolved to not read digital magazines that dont support reading in landscape mode so many others do so why not all This may seem like a little nitpick but to me it is not I have a cover for my iPad that was made by Apple and attaches along the long side opposite of the sound rocker I call this the top of my iPad If I were to read in portrait mode I would be holding the iPad by the cover not a very comfortable thing But I digress to put it simply I wont be reading this magazine digitally until this is fixed     No landscape view

It does not load on 6 plus     iPhone 6 plus

The app works fine but as someone who subscribed to CL back in the 2000s then took a breaks and decided to give it another shot Im reminded of why I let my sub lapse This is probably a great mag if you are a timestrapped working mom who just wants to get something on the table in under 40 minutes that is 1 at least partially home cooked 2 reasonably healthy and 3 acceptable to picky kids and spouses But the days when Cooking Light introduced me to all kinds of interesting creative and international dishes are long gone This is basically making Boston Kitchen comfort food at home and very boring to anyone who actually enjoys cooking and is looking for inspiration I can go through an entire issue without finding any recipe that tempts me to try it All the good stuff is relegated to a test kitchen section and most of the rest involves prechopped package ingredients All props to the folks who are struggling to cook more of their meals though You are doing a fine thing Its just that this mag is no longer for the more practiced home cook           Fast easy and all to familiar

Ive been trying to find out why the February issue hasnt been released No one is getting back to me Poor support     February issue late

I love Cooking Light and I want to like this app but it is SO clumsy to useand slow I keep trying it then going back to the website And still no Recipe IndexTable of Contents is several pages long I want a one page list of recipes like in the back of the magazine Would it be so hard to put that in the digital issue     Cooking Lights

I love that the magazine Ive subscribed to is an app as well Very convenient I also love that I can save recipes to my phone from the magazine or just print it from my phone Very cool                 Excellent

I love Cooking Light magazine and am a print subscriber This app is EXTREMELY CONFUSING Fix Please Something needs to be done with the digital version I am trying and trying and trying to download the October 2014 issue and it crashes always I love Cooking Light but geesh is anyone there paying attention to the reviews Please fix        Cannot open magazine

This app is so gooood it does work just that it has adds just like any other apps of course so goood Hope this helps My opinion As a fact Also do not listen to the bad comments                 OMGD

To mirror the other comments the saved recipes feature doesnt work It is also not clear why some issues are available and others dont The download of an issue also crashes Once downloaded the magazine reads fine but it is not any different from the hard copy     Nice digital magazine but features dont work
