One star because as soon as you lock your phone the corner automatically changes from outside corner to inside corner I had several pieces of crown molding ruined because of this flaw I thought it was me but it is in fact this app I give it one star because of the idea for this app Big software glitch

Excellent app We checked out a book from the library first that had the bevel and miter angles backward Shouldnt have been that hard to figure out since there are presets on most saws however with crown calc and a house without any standard angles including walls to ceiling This job was much easier with crown calc The only thing i noticed missing was a place to input length measurements to remember them memory function and numberletter the pieces so a few could be cut at once Well worth the 3 Thank you Handy tool

Nice app used it for abnormal angles and worked great Wish it had an option to save angles though Like corner 1 corner 2 NE corner etc would be nice for coming back to the same corner for whatever reason Mr

Great for novice carpenters who need to cut flat corner to flat corner Not sure why someone would rate this app as two star since it does not do more complicated triple or quad corner cuts That would be a feature request and should not count against the app as it is I was able to do a test run of both a simple inside and outside corner crown and got it right the first time thanks to this app Great tool for novice

Well written beautiful and easy to use My friend puts crown up all the time and asked me to look for an app to avoid making mistakes It is very easy to make a wrong cut Cant go wrong with the pictures showing the saw and prices to keep and throw away The only confusing bit is the corner notation but clicking on any text gives useful help and a definition Very nice app

Good app when you have flat wall out side corners to do but is really lacking when it comes to modern homes with bullnose or rounded corners Those bullnose corners require a triple cut or triple piece of moulding not a double In other words when you have strips of moulding coming together to form a 90 degree or whatever outside corner your only make two cuts and connect them but when you have a bullnose corner you need to make 4 cuts and connect 3 strips The maker needs to fix this app by adding that ability Crown Calc

Ok so maybe the title is a bit of an overstatement but if youre new to crown molding the bevel and miter angles along with flipping everything upside down and backwards can be a bit overwhelming This is a nice app that can save the average DiYer a lot of frustration head scratching and most likely a LOT of unnecessary scrap If you cant get what you need from this app youre in over your head Unless you have bullnose edges Life Changing
