Apparently the app does not make any sounds unless you have it open and as the active app     Wasted my time and 0 99 MultiDeviceUser

I ve tried them all and this app is near perfect if you want a cuckoo announcement on the hour and half hour even when the app isn t running The interface backgrounds could use a little improvement and you can t add your own audio cuckoo sound but for me this app is ideal                     The BEST free cuckoo app Paula Boyles
