Connects to my webDAV service Xythos but doesnt allow me to open and edit files in Quick Office Cant open files
Wonderful app Love the SSL functionality Crashed the app on deleting a file and lost my loginaddress Dont mind that too much since deleting is rarely used All in all 5 stars for easy browsing and fast access Suited for reading PDF presentations among other things Happy holidays IT Director
Amazing how harsh people can be There is much software in the App Store now that can do most of what DAVE does Seems all of it has stability issues and some unpredictability This is mostly the result of current iPhone software and firmware issues and WebDAVs somewhat unpredictable implementation This is still new turf so you cant blame the developers
Honestly DAVE rocks You can MobileMe on your iphone It connects quickly and easily You can store files in the cache for offline viewing upload camera photos create folders delete files and folders rename files and folders and email links to files But heres the kicker that seems to be missed by everybody about this app you can write html files directly to your iDisk If you have a basic knowledge of html this allows you to tweak pages on MobileMe from your iPhone or even create web pages This makes DAVE a unique piece of software That alone is worth the price of admission
Try the free version of DAVE to connect and view files If it works well for you then youll probably be happy with the upgrades you get in this version MobileMe and more
I spent a couple of evenings buying and downloading WebDAV clients and trying them out This ones the best its easy to use it Just Plain Works and it has a sensible featureset that includes the ability to edit files inplace youd be amazed how many clients cant And and these guys have a quote from the Jargon File on their main web site How cool is that Best WebDAV client for iPhone
