This app is for QUICKLY contacting contacts phone email SMS You begin typing a first or last name and it finds the contact in a Tap or 3 Heck you can even type a letter from the last name and then one from the first name and it can locate the contact it doesnt matter the order of typing healthy Ie Im looking for JAMIE HUEWETT I type H T J I and it finds it Im sure it would be only 2 or 3 letters but am just giving an example here If u typed J T T It would find it immediately Im sure because 2 ts are rare with a j YES ITS LIGHTENING FAST YES IT ALWAYS WORKS NO IT NEVER CRASHES YES THE SUPPORT TEAM IS ALWAYS AN EMAIL AWAY but u wont need them with this basic app RECOMMENDATION try another app by this developer they make THE BEST CALENDAR APPS in the AppStore Get Calvetica Super ultra Powerful Easy to learn but vastly feature rich Unique My go to calendar daily Or Get Calvetica Classic simpler Just as cool This was the original Calvetica before it got more powerful People LOVE the Classic version so much that they brought it back I have both OR Tempus a newer calendar Simple Basic I like the more powerful calendars This one appears to be A LOT like Agenda Ive read But I dont know I dont like Agenda and have never tried Tempus CALVETICA IS TGE WAY TO GO POWERFUL OR CLASSIC supports ALL Cal types GoogleiCal etc Katie is your PERSONAL Customer Service GURU I LOVE HER Calvetica is WAY more important to me than Dialvetica in daily life but DIALVETICA is like Calvetica Uniquetruly unique1of a KIND and IT JUST WORKS BETTER THAN YOUD expect Dont think Get these apps Seriously Combined Id pay 35 to NOT have to WONDER if I have THE BEST CALENDAR AND DIALER 4get a T9 DIALER Too slow For real                 LOVE

Update devs fixed the crashing but not the top contact is almost completely covered up making your 1 contact the most difficult to use Once thats fixed Ill make this 5 stars the rating Dialvetica deserves when its working properly Cant bear to give it one star because it was indispensable before it started crashing When it works its worth five stars and more Please fix it soon devs or well have to start looking for alternatives           Broken updated

Works just as advertised It has changed the way I use my iPhone                 One of my most used apps

I used to rely on this app heavily and it seems more and more the minor annoyances are becoming more problematic as time passes and the app fails to be updated The app allows to dial from different apps but not FaceTime I can only email from the native app Cannot send SMSMMS messages to email addresses restrictive in light of iMessageunable to send messages to iPads For those with multiple address books no way to consolidatedelete duplicate contacts In an attempt to be light and simple it has become restrictive and cumbersome and failing to keep up with iOS feature updates        Becoming stale vaporware

Love this app Replaces my phone app and Messages app                 Lives in my dock

But then they released an update which always crashed and now has an update that doesnt display properly on the 4s the top margin is messed up Who knows what the next update will bring It still is miles better than the default diaper though        Used to love this app

But I still love how focused this app is No frills bells or whistles Looks great feels great Super fast look up Select call text or email boom start talking or typing                 Yeah iphone 5 support

I got this app after relying on Calvetica for so long It was in my dock that day My favorite feature is that I can customize which SMS and dial app to open either automatically or per contact This allows me to toggle between my mobile and GV number while still using one app It is fast It never crashes These designvelopers create apps that make my daily iPhone experience better Thanks                 Simple Smart Lightening Fast

Just got the newest update It does definitely load faster Noticeably faster Single minor complaintsuggestion Id like the ability to remove or turn off the phone icon I have the Seinfeld man hands and its easy for me to accidentally tap the call feature instead of the text feature Overall another outstanding app from Mysterious Trousers I so greatly wish just 1 of the apps in the app store were so thoroughly designed thought out executed and beautiful                 Dialvetica 20

This is not a featurerich contact manager all it does is get you to the contact you need very very quickly If thats what youre looking for youll love this little app I put this on my dock immediately and with the exception of voicemail I no longer use the native phone app or built in contacts app for anything                 Only does one thing and does it well

This is an app that makes you wonder why Apple didnt come up with it first It is fast clean and sold When my hands are full or Im in a hurry and need a number fastthis is the only way I get there                 So good Apple might absorb it

stars 2 for retiring previous iOS Never been part of the herd and never will be Sometime in the future I may get iOS 5 on the devices Its not been long enough for me never an early adopter to flesh out iOS 5           Another one bites the dust for pre iOS 5 users

Love this app its one of my favorites When I started using it I couldnt get use to the fact that touching the contact name called the person I wished for a phone icon along with the text and email icons Well Ive actually changed my mind I much prefer the old way of doing it With the new 3 icon way the icons are much too close together Maybe an option to turn off the phone icon would work Still one of my most used apps It gets too much right to give any less than 5 stars                 Changed My Mind

Great update to a fantastic application I wish I could change it so the dial pad was just one tap away I dont need to have the option for setting and the please read screen every time but a wonderful app nonetheless Thanks Mysterious Trousers                 Awesome App

Not sure what all these people are talking about instant crashing What iPhone and what fw are you on Im running iPhone 5 on iOS 60 and running fine No crashes If youre going to complain about crashes at least mention what your specs are so your comment isnt pointless and counterproductive                 iPhone 5 works fine

The app is okay but has some annoying parts in it and its too easy to hit the wrong button I moved over to Slide Contacts which seems to be doing the same thing except better and just as fast        Updates dead better alternatives

At one time this was a great app The original developer sold it to a new developer This app hasnt been updated in a long long time Also there is no way to contact the new developer The app is showing its age unless its updated soon i am going to delete it     Went from great to bad

I had hoped this would replace Contacts completely and it mostly has But Ive noticed two things that would be great to change for both ipad and iphone I use it far more on iphone 1 most important Sometimes the contact search doesnt work as well as Id hope This usually happens when the contact has common letters and so the list doesnt winnow down very well This is understandable but at that point or even at the outset of a search there should be an option to switch to an exact spellingstyle search of the kind Contacts does Would that be hard to add Hope not 2 If a search reveals multiple names and i go to click one but hit the wrong one I click back But then what happens is the search I just conducted is immediately reset Wish there was a way to avoid this outcome Is some fix possible BTW I love Calvetica too Thanks for a great app with beautiful design              Awesome but

Just look what Buzz Contact have done and that will be very helpful The app has got old and the competition has already done wonders for such apps Hopefully we will see something more updated sometime soon           Not enough

Its almost there You can access phone SMS and email easily enough but not the address The inability to send a contacts address to the Maps app is pretty much a deal killer for me because it means I STILL have to use the iOS Contacts app as well and if I have to do that then why am I using this It seems this wouldnt be so hard to add But its not a feature Color me disappointed        Meh

EDIT No update since December 2012 Is development dead Still no way to paste numbers into dial pad Deal breaker for me in this otherwise good app At least we now have iPhone 5 support ORIGINAL Nothing nearly as mind blowing as other reviews seem to hint Almost but not quite a replacement for the native phone app Come on after 6 months or a year STILL no feature to paste phone numbers into the dial pad Thats a must STILL very slow to start Resets your typing if finishes loading after you start typing These bugs make it very difficult to use to its full potential Further less importantly it has has a VERY HARD TIME with duplicate contacts from different sources eg iCloud and Exchange It may very well be the best third party dialed out there just not good enough yet Please update these issues developer folks The app has lots of promise I would LOVE to leave a five star review Almost there           Lots of promise but current version still just OK

Does one thing really well Has been on my home screen for years and I use it daily The app hasnt been updated to the os7 look but wait It had that look two years ago Leading the way                 Works Well

When I got my first iPhone I was shocked at how long it took to find and dial a contact With my old dumbphone I could simply T9 in part of a name after unlocking the phone with no intermediate steps Dialvetica comes about as close as it can without being built into Springboard The pea green clashes badly with Apples emerald green which makes it painful for me to put this in my dock Its difficult to press the buttons on the righthand side I wonder if theyre using Apples gesture recognizers or their own algorithm It may be simply that the table cells are so short I get the modernist look theyre going for but it needs a few more iterations especially in order to blend in with the operating system and not be jarring to switch to Overall its a great idea and a useful app But it needs a little more work           Good colors clash

Please update the app to iOS8 It Im glad it still works after the last few years of no updates but its really long overdue for an update           best of its kind but needs an update

Version 221 fixed the SMS issue Devs respond quickly to email and work with you to pinpoint bugs Overall a fantastic and useful app                 Bread and butter of my iPhone

App was great but now theyve removed key functionality that was most important to me Used to be able to get a list of numbersemails when tapping a contact No more What used I be a two step process is now a four or six Im finding it far easier to use the default iOS phone app to find contacts now        Used to be perfect

it looks androidish doesnt look consistent with rest of iphone apps its own keyboard doesnt allow to change language and list of contacts looks ugly with different font sizes for different contacts     interface is alienating

I find the application extremely useful and the only reason why I didnt rate it higher is because it doesnt have a unified contact feature therefore you can have multiple copies of the same contact displayed ie Facebook contact exchange contact and iCloud contact           Excellent App for road warriors

This app is far too limited to be an every day game changing experience I love Calvetica which is a game changer It is the only calendar I use on my phone Dialvetica simply isnt built to allow you to make it your only phonecontacts app The app works fast but this doesnt equate to saving time It rarely brings up what Im looking for in a quick and efficient manner After typing a few letters its still cumbersome to find what you are looking for amongst all of the options that it does bring up I guess if you call someone often it might remember them get smarter but then why not just add them as a favorite in the phone app A lot of the time this app doesnt bring to the top what I am looking for Ive owned the app for a while and have tried to use it I simply cant find a way to do so It also receives zero love from the developers It hasnt received many updates My 2 stars is generous since I love Calvetica        Not a game changer

Dialvetica is the best way to contact someone fast whether by phone SMS or email Ill use Siri if I cant type but Dialvetica gets the message out faster                 Fast

Dialvetica is fantastic It keeps track of who you contact the most so I often only need two taps to open the app and select a name to start texting Its smart search also brings up the name I need within only a couple letters This is the best contact app Ive found Ive tried others but none are as simple or fast Thanks for a great app guys                 Fast efficient contact app

This app rocks I like how it automatically has my top contacts listed first It let me put my Phone and Messages app away so more room on my home screen One qualm thoughsince I have moved away my default phone and messages app whenever I get a voicemail or text I dont know as the Dialvetica icon does not have a badge icon PLEASE DEVELOPER Have a badge icon for missed calls or unread texts              Great app
