I had to delete this app I cant constantly have my phone on the charger Drains the battery bad If they can fix this Ill reconsider downloading again but until then this app is absolutely pointless     Pointless App

Didnt test the app BUT I found out what the code is on my own Its a bunch of 0s        Registration code

Most companies use activation codes to spare the customer of typing passwords on tiny screens Not Allstate An activation code is required to use this app The only hint Allstate gives you is that its in my account If you can find it before dying of old age you win the right to use this app Good luck As for me Ill have to stick to the browser version of DriveWise until someone who understands how to write apps builds the next version of this app     Great concept inept execution

App works as advertised to track you driving habits and earn you an insurance rebate but expect a significant battery life decrease By design this app ALWAYS runs in the background using GPS positioning even when it is manually closedkilled As a result expect your battery life to decrease by around 30 After installing this app it is no longer possible to make it through the day without stopping to charge your iPhone Whether that is worth the insurance rebate is up to you        Battery Killer

Earn points yes But for what Teens still STILL cant spend their points on anything So I ask why And even if we drive 5 MPH UNDER the posted speed limit in the rural area we live in we always get hit with a speed violation Those who live in rural areas should not be punished that way If the app works it should work CORRECTLY for EVERYONE        Why

The app didnt properly install and caused a mess           Doesnt work

I log in it tells me to install the Allstate Mobile app which is already installed All I can do is quit the app or click the button that takes me to the App Store to download an app I already have Ive tried logging into both apps one but not the other restarting my phone nothing works     Does nothing horrible app

Good luck finding anybody at Allstate that knows enough about this program to provide you with an activation code     Good Luck

This app is terrible Drains battery doesnt automatically start tracking my driving either Not much good things to say so far     Trash

To save re typing I second exactly what was said in the review by AWalker550 posted on 32615 This is a spot on description of this app it stinks     not worth the trouble

My experience with this app in the last six months has been that it freezes and stops working Ive had to delete the app and redownload it a few times now Its very buggy Toggling between screens will sometimes will crash the app        Stops working

I dont have any major qualms with this app honestly I have not noticed the phone drain like others mention when I take longer trips over 45 minutes I usually plug my iPhone 6 in anyway and it charges as I go The only things I dont like is how the app dings you on speed I live in the northwest and the speed limit is 80 on the interstates the app should take off the punishment for going right at 80 since its legal Additionally sometimes when I have deleted trips since I was a passenger it doesnt get rid of them And I cant tell when my break issues were on the map or grade of the drive It does make me aware of my driving practices more than before so not a bad thing              Good app to keep you aware of your driving

Allstate does not officially recognize this app When you first start to use this app it asks for an activation code When I called Allstate for the code they told me there is none and this not a legitimate Allstate Drivewise app Dont waste your time with this app like I did     This is a bogus app

Works well but uses a ton of battery according to IOS 8        Battery Hog

Ridiculous for Allstate to go live with this app 1 Poor tracking App doesnt even record most trips It has also combined a few of my trips into one Claims of instances of poor braking but I purposely braked way before I needed to and came to stop slowly 2 Battery drainer Serious battery drain on ios8 and iPhone 6 Ran tests of having this app active and not and its a difference of 4 hours of battery minimum Poor decision by Allstate to launch such a program with an unreliable app Needs major revamp     Poor development

App does not function properly When placed in sleep mode it will come out of sleep mode before the time is up Also when deleting inaccurate trips the app will not delete them or not remove them from your record but delete the trip Horrible app with a lot of bugs that need fixed     Needs a lot of work

Do something that you beginstart a trip for the app and GPS to run And let it all be turned off It killllllls the phone battery The free charger is a nice idea but we it doesnt help me when Im away from the car and all the background stuff is still eating away at my phone        Good idea Poor execution

This app crashes every time a code is entered Have tried everything Ive tried uninstalling the app reinstalling the app Ive generated a new code and still the same thing Ive restored my phone and installed with no luck Hopefully this gets fixed     Unstable

It seems like a good idea but the battery drain is an issue Although a good work around is to turn off gps location on the app when you are not driving no battery loss This is a work around until some other solution is created           I will see

Pros 1 Drivewise device is easy to install 2 App is easy to use for following your performance 3 Decent discount from All State Cons 1 Drainage of battery cost to replace car battery exceeds the discount earned for using DriveWise 2 Discount isnt so great The Safe Drive times seem arbitrary and overlapping It appears AllState has adjusted them a few times perhaps to offset the discount drivers earn The more discounts they provide the less revenue the company has thus shareholders earn less This probably accounts for why the safe driving times and less safe have overlapped No consistency 3 Discount is disproportionate I had As and As across the board but still only received a 10 percent discount Ultimately we saved about 100 in insurance We spent about 150 to replace our drained battery Battery labor and time spent trying to find the best price Not worth it in the long run If they had a device with its own battery that would be far more efficient Instead we feel like AllState should pay us an additional 40 for the headache        Cost More Than It Saves

Gps is always on when you allow access for this app As a result my battery life has been cut in half Otherwise works as advertised        Battery drain

This app will literally drain your iPhone battery in 46 hours even if you dont use the phone for other purposes during this time The app keeps running in the background and according to iOS battery usage consumes 60 of my phone battery The app developers need to redesign the app so that it has minimal battery consumption nothing close to 60 There are other defects in the app as well to name a few 1 It easily confused 70mph driving speed with 81mph and flagging you as driving over 80mph 2 Even if you delete a trip that was due to false app data the trip will always be shown under your overall performance affecting your overall scoregrade 3 It also confuses rush hour braking when you are barely moving as hard braking when there was no such thing in reality It probably stems from the apps inability to accurately track your speed Overall the price you pay to earn the DriveWise rewards if any by using this app is too much I will not recommend this app to anyone given the problems mentioned     Battery Drainer

Whats the point of an app that is supposed to help your driving when you cant even drive a total of 35 min without your phone dying I checked my battery usage after my phone finally came back on while charging and it said 75 of it was from Drivewise I literally drove a total of 35 minutes before it totally drained my battery     Battery drainer

This would have been a 5star until the last update Now I cannot get the app to open It constantly crashes It still transfers data to my computer but I cannot see immediate trips           Keeps crashing
