This app used to be great when it functioned as a cellar tracker Now its just trying to sell you wine You cant even add wines that the photo identifier cant find Thats not so great when you live in N Cali in the middle of lots of small wineries I wont be using this app anymore Not so good
Ordered wine at a good price then they say they are out but will substitute Oddly the same wine is still available for purchase only at a higher price Contacted customer service and they explained the situation and made an agreeable fix Nice to see people can communicate and resolve issues Good customer service

A friend showed me this App while wine shopping He took a picture of a wine label and it popped up some info on the wine I thought that was great so I downloaded it My first attempt I took a perfect picture of the label on a bottle of Wente Chardonnay The App had no information on it so it said it was sending the label for processing It has been over a month and it still says it is processing I am giving the App two stars Since it does not work properly and they do not process wines that are not in their database it only desrves a mention as an unfulfilled decent idea If it worked it might be good

This is a nice app but the Scan button shows up in every screen and you cant minimize it Worse yet it takes up 13 of the screen This is crazy People spend a few seconds scanning but spend much more time browsing through the app reading about wines Yet 13 of your screen is covered up by the scan button They really need to have a way to hide it when you dont need to scan No way to minimize scan button
This app was fine before the last upgrade now it doesnt scan and gets the wine wrong after you take a photo I was continually told to tap the camera and the scanner will open WRONG I will delete this app and look for another Totally useless Dont waste your time Useless
They used to allow you to add a wine to your cellar by typing in the name Now you must select from search results Would be 5 star if they reenabled this feature Must select from search results
It works fairly well at finding wines from a picture Doesnt always get the year or varietal correct Also wont list pricing consistently But it is handy to save wines or add to wish list Good app

Drync is great for identifying wines and even bringing up places to buy but their prices are 25 greater than their competitors Compared a Decoy Char shipped with Delectable Side note LOLd when Drync gets autocorrected into Drunk Too pricey

Usually finds the wine Im looking at and when it doesnt they get back to me pretty quickly 5 minutes once with the correct wine And if they dont carry that wine they can get you a personalized recommendation for a similar wine Kinda like going to the local wine store but way more convenient Works like a charm

I wanted to use the app to find great wine at my store but the scanning feature just doesnt work more than 20 of the time why not use UPC codes Doesnt make sense If you scan a wine its impossible to scan another as the whole app is optimized to get you to buy wine from them Id love to do that but the UI is so bad I cant even add a wine to consider in the future I can only guess the other reviews are shills doesnt work and UI confusing
