The app hardly works and if it does it crashes Very frustrating app     Never works

But unfortunately this app is quite disappointing Doesnt last 5 seconds without crashing literally     So much potential

At this rate anything would be better than this poor excuse for an app Somebody should put it out of all of our misery I for one will be deleting this app forthwithI have better things to do than be totally frustrated with something that NEVER works What a pity you have to chose a star before you can publish a review You should be able to chose zero stars for something like this app     Netflix cant come fast enough

This is the most ridiculous App crashes and error messages all the time Have emailed no response Get the issues sorted out and until the remove the App     Dont download

It seems that the notes for the version 5 update are more of a WISH LIST of how they want the app to work EVERY item was 100 in reverse No more lock ups I wish Seriously the size of data for the TV guide is small yet it is always trying to update the schedule As for the search feature try search for The Good Wife no results Carte Blanche nothing except catchup results Shame only capable of doing a 1 word search     Dont bother with v50 Buy a newspaper with a TV guide

Totally useless the most basic features such as the TV guide cant even work at all Blank Screen     Blank TV Guide

This makes the viewing experience very irritating Please make an update which optimizes the resolution for the iPhone 6 Plus thank you     It would be lovely if it fitted the screen of my iPhone

Can only watch the supersport channels all the other options either crash the app or I get url errors poor showing chaps get it fixed     Poor app

I think the title says it all Your new update now causes the app to crash on iPads if you download movies Get some qualified IT guys to help you maybe Update please fix this App the latest glitch is to play 23rds of a show and then the app crashes VERY frustrating Surely you can hire better IT guys     Dstv and Eskom Same company

I also had the unsupported url and then after the update opened it and had it loading without anything happening Just a blank screen I went into iPad settings to Privacy Settings to location settings for DSTV and turned on Always for the service Once it had my location it worked perfectly Great to have my shows downloaded before the blackouts hit     Getting Better

8 out of 10 times you dont get a search result Please fix App useless     Search

It crashes 80 of the time It wont load movies It freezes 99 of the time during a movie This is one seriously poor app Why oh why after so many months of hearing complaints can Multichoice not get it right     So bad

This app is awful Takes forever to download is not stable and crashes often Not what I expect for DSTV and especially not for what I pay for premium services     Ms

The app is great now after an update I got to watch X Factor on holiday                 Big improvement

Once able to stream the service isnt bad but first getting errors and the it would stream Then one day doesnt load any info just a spinning wheel I removed and re installed from App Store and fixed the spinning wheel but now it cant login to get my connect id Tried over 4g and fibre no luck But logging onto data website worked Sad state of affairs     Very poor app

2 updates later and still crashes every time on iphone 5s Not sure how to get this app to work No streaming and now play of downloaded content just errors Maybe use it as a mobile tv guide     Pretty useless app

Dstv needs to split the guide from all the other features     Now No One Wants

You cannot believe a company of this size and nature can go to so much effort to put out an app but doesnt check if it is working properly You cannot hope to sign in to stream content as the keyboard never becomes visible on Iphone 6     Pathetic

Well done DSTV This app works so well It has never crashed on me and have found it super stable I can easily watch programsmovies or even remotely set recordings on my Explora LOVE IT Dont know why the low reviews this app rocks                 Works brilliantly

This could be a great app if it were not for these annoying unsupported url messages I keep on getting and to make it worse the app keeps on crashing When the next update is made available to the public make sure it actually works     Get it right please

Your TV guide doesnt populate and hangs the whole app with the loading schedule wheel The crashing problems at inopportune times still occurs and your ageold Unsupported Url problem still remains On the positive the catchup screen does load faster but other than that I cannot see any improvement     Problems still problems

As with most DSTV services this too is a half finished joke So much for paying the premium subscription fee Too many unsupported URL errors and shows that only play for half in their length I have tried watching Big Bang theory for the past two weeks but I only receive unsupported URL errors every time I press play How about you fix the basics of your catchup service before you waste time to redesign the interface Pity I cant give this app 0 out of 5 stars UPDATE Since the new Interface has been introduced I havent been able to watch one show or at least 10 minutes of live tv without receiving errors or interruptions Constant URL errors catchup not available errors shows skipping a few seconds or jumping back to the beginning etc I can see why this app received an average of only two out of 5 stars And the customer service is even worse Constantly being told the issue will be escalated to the technical department but they never get back to you Dstv you should be ashamed of this service Update 2 dstv customer service is still non existent I keep on being told someone would get back to me within 2448 hours but then I dont receive any feedback Thanks dstv UPDATE3 Jan 2015 I still constantly receive the unsupported URL error Live tv also doesnt work half the time New year same old dstv rubbish UPDATE 4 Feb 2015 The past week I have been trying to watch two movies Wuthering Heights and Dallas Buyers club Every time I received the same old unsupported URL error I tried both the IPad app and the iPhone app Neither wanted to play those two movies The monthly cost of DSTV has now been increased to R699 per month yet the service continues to decline I have also stopped contacting their customer service department seeing as it has no beneficial effect whatsoever UPDATE 5 April 2015 so DSTV has decided to start charging users for this service over and above the premium subscription fee You would expect them to offer a respectable service seeing that theyre now asking money for it But no still the same old rubbish as in the past Unsupported url errors all over the place terrible service buggy app which constantly crashes etc thank you dstv for such an absolutely atrocious product UPDATE 6 August 2015 still rubbish App crashes and freezes constantly even though Im on the latest iOS version and latest version of the app Im using an iPad Air Doesnt even deserve 1 star     Rubbish

App is DEAD slow to start off with Then eventually when you get to the Live Streaming part you CANT Airplay to Apple TV The Supersport APP works 100 so please sort it out        Airplay to Apple TV NOT Working

I have an older iPad 3rd Generation and have tried this app on and off over the past years with very disappointing results It was really difficult to get the ipad registered under my DSTV account registration always gave an error and streaming just didnt work well enough to be useful However I tried again recently and was pleasantly surprised Interface is improved and it works quite well even over my low band home internet connection I have watched a couple of movies this way via catchup with some blockyness but without interruption I have a major gripe in that certain sections of catchup are mysteriously blank no sports at all How can this be possible The app is improving but not quite there yet           not quite that bad

Great app however experience is spoiled by it being broken Sometimes it doesnt load or certain channels dont load Needs a fix fast     Great but needs improvements

App is constantly crashing I cant log in hardly anything is working These guys are so behind the curve its not even funny use a cheaperbetter alternativeanything else Each update breaks the app more and more keep it up monochoice     RIP MonoChoice
